Back in 2019, Glenn Danzig announced that he was directing an upcoming film he described as a “vampire Spaghetti Western.” Now, we have a preview of exactly what that looks like.

The first trailer for the movie, titled Death Rider in the House of Vampires, is streaming now via TheWrap.com. Quite frankly, it features pretty much everything you might expect from hearing the phrase “Glenn Danzig-directed vampire Spaghetti Western”: blood, gore and sex, plus cowboys and vampires.

Death Rider in the House of Vampires stars actor Devon Sawa, who was also in the Fred Durst-directed feature The Fanatic, as the titular Death Rider. The film’s cast also includes Danny Trejo, Eli Roth and Danzig himself. The “Mother” rocker also wrote and composed music for the movie.

According to The Wrap, a release date for Death Rider will be “announced soon.”

As for his music, Danzig’s latest album is his Sings Elvis covers collection, which was released last April.
