Nandi Bushell is back with another drum cover.

The 10-year-old music prodigy — who went viral this year thanks to her online drum battle with Dave Grohl — has put her stamp on the Slipknot track “Unsainted,” the lead single from the masked metallers’ latest album, 2019’s We Are Not Your Kind.

“I am a total metal head!” Bushell says. “I love how awesome the drumming is in Slipknot! This is my first attempt at double pedals! Taking my playing to the next level.”

You can watch the drum cover streaming now on YouTube.

Upon seeing Bushell’s take on “Unsainted,” Slipknot drummer Jay Weinberg tweeted, “Nandi!! You’re unreal!”

“I’m blown away by your passion and energy,” he added. “Keep shredding on those drums! Next time we roll through your town, give me a shout — you gotta show me how you do that stick flip right there.”

Bushell’s previous drum covers have earned her the praise from big rock names including Metallica‘s Kirk Hammett, Rage Against the Machine‘s Tom Morello, and Muse. Her drum battle with Grohl — which the Foo Fighters frontman eventually conceded — resulted in each of them writing an original song about the other, and was one of the few actually nice things to happen in 2020.
