Scott Stapp is stepping into the shoes of Ol’ Blue Eyes.

According to Billboard, the Creed frontman will be playing Frank Sinatra in Reagan, an upcoming biopic about President Ronald Reagan.

“Sinatra in performance mode was an exercise in restraint,” Stapp says in a statement to Billboard. “He had this steely, stylish swagger and his sheer presence commanded a room. I was excited to join the cast and blown away by the on-set attention to detail, style, and overall production.”

Sinatra was a longtime supporter of Reagan, and the president awarded the singer the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1985.

Dennis Quaid will play Reagan in the film, which is set to be released in 2021.
