Rival Sons announce Pressure and Time Tour, marking 10th anniversary of that album

Rival Sons are marking the 10th anniversary of their 2011 album, Pressure and Time, by launching a tour during which they’ll perform it in its entirety.

The tour starts September 29 in Fort Lauderdale, FL and is scheduled to wrap up November 13 in Anaheim, CA. Depending on the date, opening acts will include Dorothy, Reignwolf and Myron Elkins.

Tickets for the trek go on sale to the general public Friday at 10 a.m. local time.  Pre-sales launch Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time.

This tour will be the first time Rival Sons have performed Pressure and Time — their second full-length album — from top to bottom. They’ll also perform fan favorites.

Rival Sons have been revisiting their back catalogue onstage lately.  Last month, they did a two-night livestream, during which they performed both their 2009 debut album Before the Fire and their self-titled 2010 EP all the way through.

Via their own label, Rival Sons are also re-releasing their early records, with limited-edition vinyls now available for pre-order via SacredTongueRecordings.com.  You can get Before the Fire in orange splatter and the self-titled EP on clear with gold splatter.  A re-pressing of Pressure and Time will be available in the near future.

The band’s most recent studio album was 2019’s Feral Roots, which earned them two Grammy nominations.
