The reconstituted Pantera has announced a new batch of European tour dates for 2023.

The nine-date outing includes stops in Germany, Austria, Poland and Denmark, among others. Those dates join previously announced European festival performances, including Germany’s Rock am Ring and Rock im Park.

Pantera, who hasn’t performed live since 2001, will play their first show on December 2 in Mexico, followed by a trip to South America. The band’s lineup will feature Black Label Society‘s Zakk Wylde and Anthrax‘s Charlie Benante in place of late Abbott brothers “Dimebag” Darrell and Vinnie Paul, respectively, alongside Pantera members Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown.

While some have questioned whether the reformed lineup can be considered a “true” Pantera reunion without Dime and Vinnie, Wylde and Benante have characterized the endeavor as “celebration” of the band’s music. In a recent Instagram post, Benante shared photos of the band rehearsing alongside the caption, “This is all about the Love for Vinnie and Dime, the fans and the music that these [four] created.”

So far, Pantera hasn’t announced any U.S. dates.
