Of Mice & Men has officially gone gold.

The SoCal metalcore outfit’s 2010 single, “Second & Sebring,” has been certified Gold by the RIAA for 500,000 copies sold. That gives OM&M their first ever RIAA-certification.

“Modern metalcore is not a genre defined by notoriety or accolades but moreso defined by the audience appreciating and connecting with the stories we share about ourselves,” says drummer Valentino Arteaga. “This is an incredible achievement made possible by our amazing fans who believe in the power of alternative music. Thank you for the continued support after all these years!”

“Second & Sebring” appears on Of Mice & Men’s 2010 self-titled debut album.

Of Mice & Men’s latest release is their new Timeless EP, which just dropped in February. According to a press release, they are working on a “series of EPs that will eventually comprise their next album.”
