It seemed as though the world might be ending on multiple occasions during 2020, so it makes sense that the Antichrist Superstar got married this year.
Yes, the one and only Marilyn Manson apparently tied the knot while in quarantine amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The news was revealed by none other than Nicolas Cage, who spoke with Manson in a piece for Interview Magazine.
“Is it okay to talk about your wedding?” the Leaving Las Vegas star asked Manson. “I thought your wedding was beautiful because that’s what you were doing while you were in lockdown.”
Cage attended the wedding via FaceTime, and the ceremony featured both he and Manson singing a rendition of the Elvis classic “Love Me Tender.”
“I got to see a little of it on FaceTime, and I thought it was very beautiful, the way you sang ‘Love Me Tender,'” Cage said.
“We both sang it in the end, and your version was even more beautiful,” Manson added.
No other details of the wedding were revealed — including, for example, to whom Manson got married. Presumably, the bride was Manson’s longtime partner, Lindsay Usich.
Manson was previously married to burlesque performer Dita Von Teese.
