Finally, you can let the needle hit the groove as you let the “Bodies” hit the floor.
Drowning Pool‘s 2001 debut album, Sinner, will be available on vinyl for the first time on September 17. The wax treatment arrives in honor of the record’s 20th anniversary this year.
“To be here marking 20 years of Sinner is just mind-blowing,” says drummer Mike Luce. “There are so many memories of this record that I’ll carry for life. It would require a book to properly express all that’s in my head and heart and all that led up to and came out of its release.”
The platinum-certified Sinner spawned numerous singles, including what would become Drowning Pool’s signature song, “Bodies.” It’s the only Drowning Pool record to feature original vocalist Dave Williams, who passed away in 2002 at age 30.
Drowning Pool’s most recent album is 2016’s Hellelujah, featuring current vocalist Jason Moreno. The band will kick off their Brothers in Arms tour with Ill Niño and (Hed) P.E. in September.
