The Metal Tour of the Year will finally be happening this summer.

The stacked bill, featuring co-headliners Lamb of God and Megadeth, as well as Trivium and In Flames, was originally scheduled to launch in June 2020 before being postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was initially delayed to July 2021, but has now been rescheduled again for an August 2021 start.

“Can you hear that sound of armies on the march — of destruction on the horizon? That’s this tour, coming for you,” says Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine. “We cannot wait to return to the stage and I promise you you do NOT want to miss these shows. You’re not going to know what hit you!”

Previously purchased tickets will be honored at the rescheduled shows. Those who wish to buy tickets can do so starting this Friday, May 7, at 10 a.m. local time.
