Nuclear Blast

In Flames has released a new single called “State of Slow Decay.”

The track, which is available now via digital outlets, is the first fresh offering from the Swedish metal outfit to follow their 2019 album I, the Mask.

“‘State of Slow Decay’ includes everything that In Flames are known for,” says frontman Anders Fridén. “But it’s more than just a song, it’s a f***ing statement. I couldn’t be happier to release this as a taste of what’s to come.”

Along with the single premiere, In Flames has announced a U.S. headlining tour, set to launch September 6 in Boston. The band Vended, which features the sons of Slipknot members Corey Taylor and Shawn “Clown” Crahan, is among the openers.
