HIM frontman Ville Valo has released “The Foreverlost,” a new song under his solo moniker VV.

In a statement, Valo describes “The Foreverlost” as a “loud love song depicting the burlesque butoh between two world-weary souls.” You can listen to it now via digital outlets.

“The Foreverlost” will appear on the debut VV album, Neon Noir, due out January 13, 2023. The record also includes the previously released songs “Loveletting” and “Echolocate Your Love.”

Valo launched VV after the now-defunct HIM played their final show in 2017. Beloved in their native Finland, the band is best known in the U.S. for the single “Wings of a Butterfly.”

The first VV U.S. tour will launch next year in March.
