Ghost is bringing some extra metal to NASCAR.

The Swedish rockers are sponsoring a car in the upcoming Xfinity Series United Rentals 200 race, taking place this Saturday, March 12, at Arizona’s Phoenix Speedway.

The car will be the JD Motorsports team’s No. 4 Chevrolet, driven by Bayley Currey.

“I’m ready to rock,” Currey says. “I’m excited about this one, and I know the boys at the shop are excited about this one too, we have a lot of metal fans on our team.”

“Once we heard a deal was imminent, we started working on the cars to Ghost songs,” he adds. “With Ghost on my car, I am ready to take on the world.”

The partnership with JD Motorsports coincides with the release of Ghost’s upcoming album, Impera, which arrives this Friday, March 11.

Bands including Megadeth and Killswitch Engage have previously sponsored NASCAR cars.
