Five Finger Death Punch has matched a Billboard record with “Welcome to the Circus,” the latest single off the band’s new album, AfterLife.
“Welcome to the Circus” has reached the top 10 on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, making it the 29th track from Ivan Moody and company to achieve that feat. That ties the total for the most top 10s by an artist in the 40-year history of the ranking, which was previously set by Shinedown and Foo Fighters.
The previous AfterLife singles, the title track and “Times Like These,” also hit the top 10 on Mainstream Rock Airplay on their way to reaching #1 on the chart.
AfterLife, the ninth Death Punch album, was released in August. They supported the record on tours with Megadeth and country artist Brantley Gilbert.
Five Finger Death Punch will open select dates on Metallica‘s upcoming stadium tour.
