Former Flyleaf frontwoman Lacey Sturm has released a new song called “State of Me.”

The track was co-written by Skillet‘s John and Korey Cooper. You can download it now via digital outlets, and watch its accompanying video streaming now on YouTube.

“State of Me” follows Sturm’s debut solo album Life Screams, which was released in 2016.

Sturm sang on Flyleaf’s first three albums before leaving the group in 2012. She was replaced by vocalist Kristen May, who then left Flyleaf in 2016. The band’s been on hiatus since.
