Dirty Honey has released the video for “The Wire,” the current single off the band’s self-titled debut album.

The clip, which premiered via RollingStone.com, features footage from the rising rockers’ time on the road opening for The Black Crowes, from soundchecking empty venues and backstage antics to each night’s grand finale of performing for an enthusiastic live audience.

“With ‘The Wire,’ we wanted to show some of our personality a little bit more than we have in the past,” frontman Marc LaBelle tells Rolling Stone. “We wanted to inject a little lifestyle and give people some insight into being on the road and how we go about living our lives when we go on tour.”

Dirty Honey the album was released in April. It also includes the single “California Dreamin’.”

Meanwhile, Dirty Honey’s gig opening for The Black Crowes runs through a September 23 date in Camden, New Jersey. They’ll also be playing some headlining dates of their own in the fall.
