Avenged Sevenfold‘s next album is “90% done,” according to drummer Brooks Wackerman.

In an Instagram post Wednesday, Wackerman shared a photo from the band’s latest recording session, which was accompanied by a 78-piece orchestra.

“We…started writing this record 4 years ago and I can’t believe we are 90% done,” Wackerman wrote in the caption. “One of the perks in the creative process is that we are able to track a 78-piece orchestra on our records. The fact that we are able to bring incredible musicians together to enhance our art still gives me chills.”

“I can’t wait for the the world to hear this,” he added. “All I can say [is that] it’s unlike anything we’ve ever released.”

Speaking with Metal Hammer earlier this year, frontman M. Shadows shared that recording with the orchestra was among the last things A7X had to do before finishing the new album. He also added that the currently untitled record would be influenced by Kanye West and jazz.

Avenged Sevenfold’s most recent album is 2016’s The Stage.
