Yesterday, the CDC released its first guidelines for people who’ve been vaccinated.  And they say it’s safe for them to be indoors with other vaccinated people, or even small groups who aren’t.  Also, vaccinated grandparents can safely hug their grandkids.

he pandemic may mean the end of the KISS CAM at sporting events . . . after all, it’s hard to kiss with a mask on, and everyone’s now in the business of trying to get people to NOT swap droplets. Here’s one alternative:  The Milwaukee Bucks recently replaced it with the “hand sanitizer cam” . . . which looks like it’s spraying people with sanitizer.

Bam Margera was taken to the hospital. He is out now. And he is ok. Any guesses? Nope he got a fresh leg tattoo and then hopped into a hottub and the end result was a nice staph infection. Apparently the leg was infected already when he got in the nice steaming hot tub. A little staph soup. He was treated and released. is learning hot tubs and fresh ink don’t mix — he needed a hospital stay to treat a staph infection from his latest tattoo.

People sharing stories of celebrities being cool in real life is a new trend on TikTok . . . and for some reason, it’s really refreshing.  Here are some new ones: A young woman talked about being in the audience for the “Tonight Show”.  She said that during a commercial break she met JIMMY FALLON. A guy who worked at a clothing store met ROBERT DOWNEY JR. And a former child actor who was in the movie “License to Wed” says ROBIN WILLIAMS was great to work with

HBO Max subscribers who wanted to watch the PG-rated “Tom and Jerry” movie Monday on instead, got some R-rated “Justice League” thanks to a glitch on the streaming service. HBO Max confirmed the accidental leak, saying the movie was “temporarily available” and “the error was addressed within minutes.” They say fixed “within minutes,” but some people say they were able to watch about an hour of the film before the feed was cut. The official release is March 18

I talked yesterday about Eddie Murphy’s plan before covid…Dolemite, SNL, Coming 2 America and then stand up tour. He almost and I guess kinds did for a bit quit acting all together and it was because of The Golden Raspberry Awards, otherwise known as the Razzies, honor the worst films and performances of the year. He has been nominated 9 times and a 3 time winner plus worst actor of the decade in 2010. What was he getting the Razzies for movie wise do you remember?   “Norbit,” “The Adventures of Pluto Nash,” and “Meet Dave.” Between 2013 and 2018, Murphy only starred in the indie drama “Mr. Church” and left acting behind until a comeback with “Dolemite Is My Name,” and now “Coming 2 America.”

According to an analytics firm, the sequel “Coming 2 America” attracted more viewers than any other movie that premiered on a streaming service over the past year.  It debuted on Amazon Prime last weekend. That means it did better than “Wonder Woman 1984”“Borat Subsequent Moviefilm”, and “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run”, which also debuted last weekend, but on Paramount+.  No official numbers were released. Disney’s “Raya and the Last Dragon” was also released last weekend . . . but it wasn’t included in the report.  That’s probably because it was both in theaters AND on Disney+.

Yesterday, Katie Couric started her two-week stint as the first female guest host of “Jeopardy!”.  After her, Dr. Oz takes over, followed by Aaron Rodgers. Other guest hosts, including Anderson Cooper, Savannah Guthrie, and Mayim Bialik, haven’t been scheduled yet.

Did you know SHANIA TWAIN is on TikTok?  You should, because she’s bringing the sexy back.  She posted a video yesterday of herself dancing on a table while wearing a tiny bikini with a sheer covering.

Over the weekend, the Grammys released a list of performers for this year’s ceremony. The Grammys announce their performers for the show March 14th.  Taylor Swift , Megan Thee Stalion, Post the Malone, Harry the Styles, John the Mayer, Billie the Eilish and the more. Trevor the Noah will host and all performances will emanate from there. BRUNO MARS (net worth around $175 million)wasn’t on that list was he? . . . but he wants to be. Bruno (again net worth about $175 million) and ANDERSON .PAAK (net worth about $4million)have started a campaign to get their new group SILK SONIC a performance slot during the show. On social media, Bruno (net worth about $175 million) said, quote, “Dear Grammys:  If you can see it in your hearts to allow two out-of-work musicians to perform at your show, we would really appreciate it.  We just released a song, and could really use the promotion.” He said they’d follow all safety protocols, and even joked that they’re willing to audition for the spot.  There’s no indication that the campaign is working . . . yet.

Things have been wacky on the “Billboard” charts for a while . . . with the decline in album sales, the death of the CD, the rise of streaming, and the breakdown of the traditional album “single.” So, Last week, no new albums cracked the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 for the THIRD STRAIGHT WEEK. If you ignore the post-Christmas season, which is normally very light on releases, the last time there were three weeks with no new albums in the Top 10 was back in December of 2000. The madness was stopped by  SNOOP’s “Tha Last Meal”.  New stuff from Kings of Leon will probably hit.

Here’s the latest update on the “Jeopardy!” guest hosts.  KATIE COURIC took over on Monday.  She’s doing two weeks . . . until March 19th. Then DR. OZ hits the podium from March 22nd to April 2nd. He’s followed by AARON RODGERS from April 5th through April 16th. After that . . . we don’t know yet.  Anderson Cooper, Savannah Guthrie, Mayim Bialik, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, and Bill Whitaker from “60 Minutes” are all waiting in the wings . . . but they haven’t been scheduled yet.

Could a “Dawson’s Creek” revival or reboot be in the works?  According to Dawson’s mom, it’s a possibility. During a recent panel discussion, MARY-MARGARET HUMES said, quote, “There has been a secret text message going around among all we actors. “Katie Holmes and I have talked about it extensively.  James Van Der Beek and I have talked about it.” She also says she wrote an “idea for a crossover to a reboot” . . . and there’s, quote, “a lot of buzz about it.” Speaking of revivals, MAYIM BIALIK and the creator of “Blossom” have been trying to bring the show back for a limited run for YEARS . . . but can’t get it off the ground. She says, quote, “At a certain point, I may just start a grassroots fan campaign to see if we can do it because we absolutely would love people to see where these characters are.”

The Blues looked to end their road trip with a win against the Sharks last night in San Jose.  Good news – Niko Mikkola scored his first NHL goal with the Blues last night.  Bad news?  Another game that went into overtime.  Brayden Schenn got the other regulation goal for the Blues.  Even worse news?  The Blues lost the game after Evander Kane scored just 41 seconds into the overtime.  Up next for the Blues – a weekend series against the Knights at Enterprise on Friday.

Former MLB pitcher Rheal Cormier died Monday at the age of 53 from cancer.  A native of Canada, Cormier spent 16 seasons in MLB with five teams. He debuted with the Cardinals in 1991 and had stints with the Phillies, Red Sox, Expos and Reds. Cormier’s longest spell was in Philadelphia. He finished with a 71-64 record and a 4.03 ERA over 683 career appearances. He was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in 2012.

The Dallas Cowboys and quarterback Dak Prescott have agreed to a four-year, $160 million contract, including $126 million guaranteed. The deal, which is technically for six years but voids to four so as to help Dallas against the salary cap, can be worth up to $164 million, a source said. Prescott’s signing bonus is $66 million, the highest in NFL history, with a record $75 million due in Year 1, Schefter reported. The first three years of the deal average $42 million per year. Prescott, who will turn 28 in July, is coming off a compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle suffered in the Week 5 in October, but he was predicted to make a full recovery during the offseason.

Two weeks after the Super Bowl, the Buccaneers general manager mentioned that giving Tom Brady a contract extension this offseason was a “possibility,” and now, it seems like that extension is definitely going to happen. Not only are the two sides working on an extension, but here’s the surprising part: the two sides might end up adding as many as THREE YEARS to the deal. If Brady signed a three-year extension, that means the quarterback would be 47 going into the final year of his deal.  One reason an extension is likely going to get done is because Brady WANTS one to get done. A new deal with Brady could free up more than $15 million in cap space, which would allow the Buccaneers to try and keep several key players who are about to hit free agency, including Chris GodwinNdamukong SuhAntonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski.

Vanessa Bryant will be able to obtain the names of four sheriff’s deputies who allegedly shared “unauthorized” photos of Kobe Bryant’s crash site. Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna, died in a helicopter crash in the Los Angeles area in January 2020. An internal sheriff’s department report revealed that one sheriff took 25 to 100 photos of the crash site before sending the photos to multiple other deputies. Those photos were then shown to various civilians, including a patron and bartender at a local bar.  U.S. District Judge John F. Walter ruled on Monday that the deputies’ names would no longer remain under seal. Vanessa Bryant can now add the deputies to her civil rights lawsuit against the county. Despite Bryson DeChambeau’s win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational on Sunday and Dustin Johnson’s mediocre finish at the WGC-Workday Championship, Johnson still comes in as the favorite entering the 2021 Players Championship this week at TPC Sawgrass. There is good reason for that, of course. D.J. has been the best player in the world from tee to green so far in 2021. He’s also won three of his last 10 events. DeChambeau has won three of his last 15 tournaments. But DeChambeau is not even a solo second. He shares that mark with Rory McIlroy.

Les Miles is out as Kansas’ head football coach three days after he was placed on administrative leave amid accusations of inappropriate behavior toward female students during his head-coaching tenure at LSU. The Kansas athletic director said the university would be conducting a full review to determine the appropriate steps on Miles’ future, and late Monday evening announced that they had “mutually agreed to part ways.” The school will use a search firm to assist in finding Miles’ successor.  The athletic director did not use a search firm when he hired Miles, a friend from their time together at Michigan in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Mike DeBord, who was hired last month as Kansas’ offensive coordinator, will serve as the program’s acting head coach until an interim head coach is determined.
