Part of Cedric the Entertainer’s most famous stand-up routines was allegedly stolen from Katt Williams. Here’s Katt Williams standing outside my kitchen window telling me about it Katt was asked if he’s ever confronted Cedric about the joke. He said, “I’m not that type of comedian. I’m going in your mouth where the joke is when you steal my jokes, and I have a reputation in this industry that if you steal my joke, you’re gonna be missing a tooth or two. I don’t play like that.”

AMY SCHUMER was trending yesterday, for a strange reason that just got stranger. A truck stop in Tennessee posted a picture (LINK) of a driver named Amelia, who’d redeemed a brand new Monster Energy mini-fridge with her loyalty points. The woman looked a lot like Amy . . .Right down to her R-rated T-shirt that said “Truckin’ -N-” . . . When Amy saw the picture, she Tweeted (LINK), quote, “Wait, what’s going on at a truck stop? -me.” She also posted an emoji with a single tear . . . because Amelia, as it turns out, has a teardrop tattoo. Sometimes, people get a teardrop tattoo as a way of saying they’ve KILLED someone. So the truck stop posted a follow-up to clarify. It said, quote, “Amelia wanted us to point out that her teardrop tattoo is not because she murdered someone. She accidentally killed a pedestrian once after falling asleep at the wheel and got a tattoo to honor their memory.”
The “Aquaman” sequel has a title (LINK). Auqaman and the Lost Kingdom…I did not see a street date. This was just an Instagram posting of a production meeting that was happening. And there was an obvious screen in the back that said “Production Meeting” But I have seen December 16th of 2022.

Alicia Silverstone would like you to stop mispronouncing her name. in the over 7 years on this show doing the award winning Crap On Celebrities segment I have always said Alisha. Its not right. She is finally saying something . She came by I want home but I caught it on my Ring doorbell camera.
The Fast & Furious team spent over $1 million to build a custom mid-engine Dodge Charger for the latest installment in the franchise. The car’s production was overseen by Dennis McCarthy, same guy for eight of the previous films as well. “With its mega-horsepower Dodge Hellcat motor, unique Charger engine location, and combination of old and new technology, the mid-engine Charger satisfies all of these criteria. This Charger is now my all-time favorite Fast & Furious car.”
JOE JONAS teamed up with the sneaker company Koio for a new ’80s-inspired shoe collection. Since . . . you know . . . he’s a TOTAL child of the ’80s being born in 1989. Joe said, quote, “A lot of my favorite bands and artists are from the ’80s . . . there were so many brilliant entertainers unafraid of being authentic to themselves . . . so I wanted that to be reflected in what I pulled as inspiration.” During the design process, Joe said he played a lot of Duran Duran, Boy George, The Police, Wham! in the background . . . and he watched “The Goonies”. The iridescent blue color was also inspired by “Tron”. The shoes are available now for a limited time on Koio.com (LINK).

While flipping through an old book, the 1975’s Matty Healy saw “1st June, The 1975” scribbled on one of the pages. He liked the interesting use of THE.
While working at Starbucks, bassist Mike Kroeger (Chad’s brother) would often tell his customers, “Here’s your nickel back,” which inspired (LINK) the band name Nickelback. The group was originally called the Village Idiots.
At a show, Fall Out Boy asked their audience for band name suggestions, and someone shouted out a minor character (LINK) from The Simpsons — the sidekick of Homer’s favorite superhero.
Pink Floyd originally called themselves the Tea Set (link), but when they saw another band playing under that name, they decided to change theirs to reflect two of their musical inspirations — Pinkney Anderson and Floyd Council.
The name 30 Seconds to Mars comes from a former Harvard professor’s thesis about the exponential growth of technology in relation to humanity.
Bring Me the Horizon’s name comes from a Jack Sparrow quote in Pirates of the Caribbean. The quote that inspired them was, “Bring me that horizon.” Oliver Sykes explained (LINK), “[It] sort of stands in for our feeling of wanting to see what the planet had to offer.”
And finally…Chvrches replaced (LINK) the “u” in their name with a “v” so that Google wouldn’t confuse the band with church buildings in the search results.

If your NBA team didn’t make the playoffs or already got eliminated, it’s time to look toward next season. The league has announced its initial calendar for 2021-2022. After a last year’s playoff bubble and this year’s late start and abbreviated season, next year looks to be back to normal. The NBA told teams that training camp will start in September, and the regular season will begin on October 19th. After a traditional 82 game regular season, the NBA playoffs are scheduled to start on April 16th, 2022.
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James will be changing from No. 23 to No. 6 on his uniform next season, but not to pass on his old number to Anthony Davis, as he intended a couple of years ago. James will don No. 6 for the 2021-22 season and Davis will stay with No. 3, the number he wore when L.A. won the championship in his inaugural season with the purple and gold. James first wore No. 6 in international competition for Team USA and later wore it for the four seasons he played for the Heat because the organization had already retired No. 23 in honor of Michael Jordan. He originally planned to switch back to No. 6 in the summer of 2019 when the Lakers acquired Davis, because the big man had worn No. 23 his entire career with New Orleans, but Nike nixed the swap because of potentially tens of millions of dollars’ worth of wasted inventory. James has continued to wear No. 6 since leaving the Heat in 2014 — on his practice uniform (LINK) while playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers (LINK) and in L.A. He said the dual number decision was a nod to Deion Sanders, who wore his collegiate No. 2 on his practice jersey but played in No. 21 for most of his NFL career.
As the U.S. women’s national team gears up for its run to reclaim the gold medal at the Tokyo Games, the team got all it could handle from Portugal in an international friendly on Thursday night in Houston. Sam Mewis scored off a header in the 76th minute on an assist from Christen Press, finally capitalizing on the many chances the team was able to generate all night. It was Mewis’s fourth goal of the year. The win extends the team’s home winning streak to 16 games and its overall unbeaten streak to 40.
Brisbane could be officially named host of the 2032 Olympics when the IOC meets in Tokyo next month. The IOC president said after an executive board meeting Thursday that Brisbane can be awarded hosting rights at a July 21 meeting ahead of the Tokyo Olympics. The Australian city’s victory already looked certain after it was put on the fast track in February by being named the preferred candidate without a formal opponent.
A source close to Showtime says the company projects that last Sunday’s Mayweather-Paul fight sold around one million Pay-Per-View buys, generating $50 million. It’s not the best-selling Pay-Per-View for Mayweather. His 2015 fight with Manny Pacquiao sold four million packages. …but considering that Logan Paul is a relatively unknown boxer and no real winner was determined during their fight, Showtime is pleased with the one million mark.
James “Iron Cowboy” Lawrence completed his 100th Ironman triathlon in 100 days on Tuesday. Lawrence crossed the finish line in Utah as he finished his self-created “Conquer 100” challenge. His daily course—consisting of a 2.4-mile swim, 112.21-mile bike ride and 26.2-mile run— all took place near his home in Utah. Lawrence tallied more than 12,000 miles in his 100-day journey, which is easily his most impressive accomplishment to date. He completed 50 Ironman triathlons in 50 consecutive days in 2015 and hit all 50 states in the process. It hasn’t exactly been a breeze through the 100-day challenge for Lawrence. He’s battled shin splints and hip discomfort throughout the “Conquer 100,” and the Utah heat has left significant blisters on his lips. Lawrence has been aided by eight support staffers, including a running partner, athletic trainer, nutritionist and physiologist, along with his wife, Sunny.
