So you say you hate Valentine’s Day and you have no one to celebrate with? You might want to plan a trip to Chicago between January 27th and February 26th. Because a company called Bucket Listers is opening up a Taylor Swift-themed BREAK UP BAR called Bad Blood. The event’s website says, quote, “Whether you want to sing about your lover, those who were never yours, those you’re never getting back together with, or those who still have your scarf, this is the perfect place for you.” Admission is $22 a person, but it does include a “welcome-themed cocktail.” FYI, Bad Blood is NOT an official Taylor Swift event (Billboard)
Channing Tatum is planning a remake of Patrick Swayze’s 1990 hit, “Ghost”. His production company, Free Association, owns the rights. In a profile for “Vanity Fair“, he said he’d play Patrick’s role. Quote, “But we’re going to do something different. I think it needs to change a little bit.” Channing also did a “Vanity Fair” lie detector test, where he was asked if he thinks he’s a better stripper than his “Magic Mike” costar, Joe Manganiello. Here’s his response: “100%. We’re different classes of strippers. When you look in the dictionary next to the perfect specimen of a man, probably Joe is one of the bodies that pops up. He’s kinda weirdly flawless . . . “But, as far as stripping goes. I would put myself above him, dance-wise. Sorry, Joe.” He also said he’d go harder than Jennifer Lopez. (You can see the lie detector clip here. And click here for the full video. The stripper comments start at 3:44.) (People, Uproxx)
Jeremy Renner is still on the road to recovery after his nasty snowplow accident … but at least that road’s led him back home to continue recuperating. The “Hawkeye” star tweeted, “Outside my brain fog in recovery, I was very excited to watch episode 201 with my family at home” — referring to the season 2 premiere of his show, “Mayor of Kingstown.” Needless to say, his concerned fans were thrilled by Jeremy’s unexpected update … as he was flooded with messages congratulating him on making it home with his family, and at least one added, “We are still praying for you everyday and will continue to do so.” This is a big step forward for Jeremy — initially, he was in critical condition at the beginning of the year after getting “completely crushed” by that Snowcat, according to the 911 emergency log. It also stated the right side of his chest collapsed.
Madonna played Truth or Dare with a bunch of celebrities in a very not-safe-for-work video to announce her upcoming 40th anniversary tour. The players included Amy Schumer, Judd Apatow, Jack Black, Lil Wayne, Diplo, Eric Andre, and Jack Black. . . who Madonna MAKES OUT WITH. On a dare, of course. After some mostly-sexual hijinks settled down this kinda stuff happened. – HERE’S A CLIP – , Amy “dares” Madonna to, quote, “do a world tour, and play your greatest mutha[effin’] hits.” And of course, she accepts. The video is filled with profanity.
She’s calling it The Celebration Tour, and it kicks off in Vancouver on July 16th. It’ll hit 35 cities across North America and Europe. (Check out the dates here.) Madonna says, quote, “I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for.” (Profanity Warning: Check out the video here.) Could Jack and Rose have both fit on that door at the end of “Titanic”? It’s the debate that will never be settled. But it’s completely irrelevant . . . because THERE WAS NO DOOR.
During a recent panel discussion, James Cameron said, quote, “It’s technically not a door, it’s a piece of wood paneling from the first-class cabin.” Cameron has always insisted that the reason Jack and Rose couldn’t both survive had nothing to do with there not being enough room on the . . . piece of would paneling. He says it couldn’t have remained buoyant with both of them on it. They even did a forensic examination to settle the debate on an upcoming National Geographic special called, “Titanic: 25 Years Later”. It airs on February 5th. He won’t say how it turned out, just that they, quote, “came to some pretty hard and fast conclusions.” (New York Post)
30 years after they first morphed, some of the original and classic “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” are returning for a brand-new adventure. It’s called “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always”, and it premieres on Netflix on April 19th. The returnees include Walter Emanuel Jones, the original Black Ranger, and David Yost, the original Blue Ranger . . . along with other cast members who joined in later seasons. Also, Charlie Kersh will play Minh, the daughter of original Yellow Ranger Trini. Trini was played by Thuy Trang, who died in a car accident in 2001. There’s no word if the show will pay tribute to original Green Ranger Jason David Frank, who took his own life last year.

Kristin Chenoweth said her hair extensions saved her life during a lighting accident on the set of “The Good Wife” in 2012. On “Watch What Happens Live”, she told Andy Cohen that a light had hit her in the face and threw her to the curb, knocking her out. Kristin sustained a 7-inch skull fracture, a hairline crack, a fracture in her nose, and cracked teeth and ribs. She said she still has long-standing injuries from then. But the doctor told her that her hair extensions saved her life. Quote, “They made the hairline fracture go together . . . So anybody who wants to get hair extensions should, for your health.” (People)
The White Lotus lifestyle ain’t cheap. If you are so inclined, AirBnb has you covered — for an unsurprisingly steep price — to enjoy the place where Harper and Daphne’s unlikely friendship began to come together. That would be the Villa Tasca in Palermo (Noto in the show.) The cost of staying a night at Villa Tasca is nearly £4,900 ($5,990) — and there’s a three-night minimum stay. Even if you manage to pack out the palace with its full capacity of guests (which is eight), that’s still really pricey. Here are the selling points according to the site “ Play family games on the lush lawns, stir up Victorian-style intrigue amid century-old trees and citrus groves, steal a honeymoon-worthy moment in the greenhouse, and watch the swans paddle their way around their pond. There’s also a swimming pool and furnished terrace and, inside, a billiards room, music room, bar, TV, and Wi-Fi. Your holiday at the estate includes service from a full staff.” Remember when MTV was ACTUALLY music television? Loudwire put together a list of the 11 best MTV shows that were all about the music.
