Earlier this week, the child molestation lawsuit against Tiffany Haddish was dropped by the plaintiff, but the damage has been done. When TMZ’s cameras caught up to Haddish, she was asked if the allegations negatively affected her. When Tiffany was asked if she was in touch with the co-defendant in the suit, Aries Spears, she said, “I don’t talk to him.”
Emily Ratajkowski may have appeared in Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” video . . . but as far as she’s concerned, the line is very clear in the Adam Levine / Sumner Stroh situation. And she says Adam is the one who crossed it. On Tuesday TikTok teased fans that Taylor would be posting something on her TikTok account. Over on TikTok was a quick teaser showing a digital clock striking midnight, but didn’t share what exactly Swift has in store for fans. Midnight came and Taylor told fans in her video that it’s all part of her “Midnights Mayhem With Me”, and the track list reveals will take place over 13 nights on her TikTok. So, over the next 13 nights, Taylor will be revealing one song title per night. With help from a bingo ball cage, Taylor pulled out the actual number 13 and revealed the name of a song, and it’s… “Mastermind”!
Adam Sandler sees the negative reviews of his movies, but he doesn’t get too shook up about them. He just remembers some advice his dad once gave him at the beginning of his stand-up career. Quote, “[When] I bombed onstage or didn’t get an audition, he said, ‘Adam, you can’t always be happy. People aren’t always going to like you. You’re going to fail.’ I said, ‘But I just want to be happy, man. I don’t want all that other crap . .He said, “You won’t actually know you’re happy if you don’t feel that other stuff.” But the reviews do sometimes sting. Because, quote, “I invite all these amazing people I care about to make movies with me, and I wish they didn’t have to read [crap] about whatever we’ve made.”
Jeff Garlin is opening up about his mental health and revealed that he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. The 60-year-old comedian took to Instagram and shared his struggles with fans. “Bipolar is a motherf***er.. Sometimes it’s just too much to deal with. I’m doing the best I can. This is the first time that I’ve opened up about this.” Jeff‘s comments come just hours ahead of the season 10 premiere of The Goldbergs, which he was fired from after allegations of inappropriate behavior on set. Garlin also stars alongside Larry David in Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Will Byers’ house from “Stranger Things” just went up for sale in Fayetteville, Georgia. It’s going for $300,000 as-is, because it’s a fixer-upper. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and sits on over six acres. The realtor did warn there’s an issue with fans trespassing to take photos, so now there’s a driveway barricade and private property signs. It’s unclear if the inside was used for filming or just the outside. But in one of the listing photos, there’s the hand painted alphabet with Christmas lights from season 1. And the realtor also listed the episodes the house is seen in. Oh, and there’s one more important note for those interested: Don’t feed the Demogorgon.
“The Nightmare Before Christmas” will be 30 years old next year. And the way things are in Hollywood, it’s baffling that there hasn’t been a sequel yet. It sounds like there could have been one several times by now, but there’s one particular sticking point: Director Henry Selick and producer Tim Burton are only willing to do it using stop-motion animation like the original. Selick says, quote, “A sequel has come up several times . . . [but] initially, they always said, ‘But it will have to be CG.’ And that was a non-starter for me. It certainly was for Tim Burton.”
Even though Katy Perry is super busy, she refuses to hire a full-time nanny for her almost two-year-old daughter Daisy. On the new season of “Cobra Kai”, there’s a scene where Daniel’s wife happens upon Chozen sunbathing NUDE. Well, you were bamboozled, because that’s not Chozen’s real backside. He used a BUTT DOUBLE. Actor Yuji Okumoto says, quote, “When I saw that [in the script], I said, ‘Oh my God, seriously? I’ve gotta show my butt on camera?’ I said, ‘I don’t know if they want to see an old dude’s butt. Maybe you should get somebody else to do this.'” Speaking of “Cobra Kai”, the Netflix Is a Joke Twitter account claims that it made a “bot” watch every episode and construct its own story. Then they animated the result.
blink-182’s Mark Hoppus has shared some great news: he is still cancer-free! He announced he was battling stage 4 lymphoma in June 2021 and then announced three months later that he was cancer-free. Hoppus was happy to tell fans this week that after another scan for cancer, “it came back clear and I am cancer free.” Hoppus told fans “Thankful for every day I get to be here. Love you all.”
I think it’s safe to say that one of the most popular/notable spooky franchises Friday the 13th, and now, fans of the essential slasher franchise can tour the real-life campground where the 1980 horror flick was filmed. As most diehard Jason Voorhees fans already know, the original Friday the 13th was filmed at Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco, which is still an active Boy Scouts camp in New Jersey. Although the campgrounds are off-limits to the public, there are a few rare events offered by the camp that allow fans to visit the filming location. For the last few years, Crystal Lake Tours have come to the rescue: Friday the 13th fans have been offered the opportunity to tour the real-life Crystal Lake. The last time the Cardinals failed to score in three consecutive games was the final three games of the 2015 season. We got bounced in the first round by the Cubs that year if you don’t remember how it worked out at the end of that slump. The Cardinals have gone 43 innings without an RBI. The one run they’ve scored in that time was good enough for a win, but it came in extra innings on an error. They have not produced an earned run against an opponent since the third inning of Saturday’s afternoon game. They try again, same opponent, same Petco Park but this time a 310pm local start. The next series is against the Dodgers and that starts tomorrow
Blues training camp opens Thursday with two practices at Centene Community Ice Center. (They take place at 10 a.m. and noon and are free and open to the public.) The first of eight preseason games is Saturday against the Arizona Coyotes in Wichita, Kansas. And the regular-season opener comes three weeks from Saturday at Enterprise Center, on Oct. 15 against the Columbus Blue Jackets
Owner Robert Sarver on Wednesday announced that he has begun the process to sell both the NBA’s Phoenix Suns and WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury (LINK) franchises. “As a man of faith, I believe in atonement and the path to forgiveness,” Sarver said in a statement Wednesday. “I expected that the commissioner’s one-year suspension would provide the time for me to focus, make amends and remove my personal controversy from the teams that I and so many fans love.
“But in our current unforgiving climate, it has become painfully clear that that is no longer possible — that whatever good I have done, or could still do, is outweighed by things I have said in the past. For those reasons, I am beginning the process of seeking buyers for the Suns and Mercury.”
Sarver, who owns approximately one-third of the Suns, was suspended one year and fined $10 million (LINK) last week after an NBA investigation found that he used the N-word at least five times “when recounting the statements of others.” – ===================
Sarver also was involved in “instances of inequitable conduct toward female employees,” including “sex-related comments” and inappropriate comments on employees’ appearances.
“Words that I deeply regret now overshadow nearly two decades of building organizations that brought people together — and strengthened the Phoenix area — through the unifying power of professional men’s and women’s basketball,” Sarver wrote in his statement.
The NBA commissioned an investigation in the wake of an ESPN story in November 2021 (LINK) detailing allegations of racism and misogyny during Sarver’s 17 years as owner.
Since the NBA’s investigation was announced, LeBron James, Chris Paul and Draymond Green have spoken out and said the NBA’s punishment wasn’t severe enough. PayPal, the Suns’ jersey patch sponsor, threatened to not renew their partnership (LINK) with the team if Sarver remained owner. And Suns minority owner Jahm Najafi, the team’s second-largest stakeholder, called for Sarver to resign.
“I do not want to be a distraction to these two teams and the fine people who work so hard to bring the joy and excitement of basketball to fans around the world,” Sarver said in his statement. “I want what’s best for these two organizations, the players, the employees, the fans, the community, my fellow owners, the NBA and the WNBA. This is the best course of action for everyone.
“In the meantime, I will continue to work on becoming a better person, and continuing to support the community in meaningful ways.”
Floyd Mayweather talked with TMZ Sports about a potential rematch with Conor McGregor. The two fought in 2017. When asked how much it would take for him to jump in the ring with McGregor, Mayweather said, “They already talked to me about my number that I’m going to receive. 9 figures. You know we gotta start at least 100 million for Floyd Mayweather.”
