WILL SMITH says in “GQ” that he and Jada started out monogamous, but “evolved” past it. He says, quote, “Jada never believed in conventional marriage . . . She’s staying with me now and Baby X is in the adjacent room.” Grimes and Elon Musk first publicly revealed their relationship (LINK) at the 2018 Met Gala. In May 2020, Grimes gave birth to their son X Æ A-XII (LINK).
Cesar Millan very much denied that his dog killed Queen Latifah’s. He in fact says it’s a blatant lie. Gymnast Lidia Matiss — who recently filed a lawsuit (LINK) claiming that the dog had attacked her in 2017 — also claimed in the suit that Junior had attacked other dogs, including Queen Latifah’s. She alleged that Millan had covered up the attack by having a staffer tell Latifah that her dog was hit and killed by a car. Matiss’ says the dog attacked her at his training facility where her mother worked at the time, Millan’s rep said, “This incident occurred over 4 years ago. “Two weeks ago, Ms. Mattiss’ counsel sent a letter demanding that Mr. Millan pay her $850,000 – or she would be going ‘to the press.’ Mr. Millan refused to respond to this threat, and this interview is the result.” He added that Matiss was “well aware” of the risk and “repeatedly returned to his property and ranch after the incident.”
KYLIE JENNER launched her new Kylie Swim line last month, and the reviews are starting to come in. So far the consensus seems to be that they’re TRASH. Women are pointing out that the seams are really sloppy, and the fabric is so sheer that your unmentionables don’t stand a chance of remaining unmentionable. Another reviewer noted that the bottoms are about as narrow in the front as they are in the back. Quote, “You need to be waxed, lasered . . . If you have any hair down there, it’s gonna show.”
The first 10 fans in line got their first taste of Mom’s Spaghetti on Wednesday, and it was hand-served by eminem (LINK) himself. The Detroit rapper spent several minutes manning the alley window of the new eatery on Woodward Avenue, handing out takeout boxes of spaghetti and taking selfies. Eminem was on hand for only a few minutes before his entourage zoomed away in a pair of SUVs, chased Beatlemania-style down Woodward by packs of fans. Fans lined two blocks along Woodward ahead of the restaurant’s official 5 p.m. opening. Many had camped out since Wednesday morning.
Katie Couric’s book ‘Going There’ (LINK), which is out in late October and will be accompanied by an 11-city book tour. You know the Peabody downtown? Chicago is only 5 hours away by car. Chicago Nov 6th at The Chicago Theater. She may as well have called it the Book on Burning Bridges. She writes that she gave Ashleigh Banfield the cold shoulder early in her career because helping her would have been ‘self sabotage’. She mocks Deborah Norville, who she replaced on the TODAY Show, for having ‘relentless perfection’. She puts down Martha Stewart, saying it took a ‘some healthy humbling (prison will do that . . .) to develop a sense of humor’. She says ex-boyfriend Brooks Perlin, who was 17 years youger, was a ‘mid-life crisis’. Prince Harry stank of cigarettes and alcohol, and how Prince Andrew cozied up to Jeffrey Epstein at a bizarre dinner at his New York mansion. She describes Epstein’s $75million New York townhouse as ‘Eyes Wide Shut with a twist – creepy chandeliers and body-part art’. Epstein ‘held court’ in front of the fireplace to the likes of Chelsea Handler and Woody Allen and George Stephanopoulos and Charlie Rose.

An unheard DAVID BOWIE album called “Toy” is finally coming out on January 7th. (Which is the day before what would have been his 75th birthday.) David recorded the album after his Glastonbury Festival performance in 2000. It has reworked versions of songs that he recorded between 1964 and 1971, plus a new song. (Well, new 20 years ago, anyway.) His vision was to record the songs “old school” with his band playing live then choosing the best takes, to release it as a surprise album. But because technology wasn’t as advanced back then, a surprise release was not possible . . . so it was shelved. David’s co-producer said (LINK), quote, “‘Toy’ is a moment in time captured in an amber of joy, fire, and energy . . . David revisited his work through prisms of experience and fresh perspective . . . a parallel not lost on me as I revisit it 20 years later.” The album’s artwork was designed by David and features a photo of him as a baby but with an older face. It’ll also include a 16-page book with previously unseen photographs.

Nolan Arenado could become a free agent after the season, but the St. Louis Cardinals third baseman said he will return to the team in 2022. He said QUOTE “I’m not opting out. We can put that out there. I will not be opting out. I will be coming back. That was always the plan. I’m absolutely coming back. I feel like this year has been special in a lot of senses.” The 30-year-old has $179 million remaining on his contract over the next six years, but he has a pair of opt-out clauses after the 2021 and 2022 seasons. It means Arenado will have another chance to become a free agent a year from now, but as of now, he plans to remain in St. Louis. Arenado came to the Cardinals in February in a trade with the Colorado Rockies. The six-time All-Star had an outstanding individual resume with eight Gold Glove awards and four Silver Sluggers, but he only appeared in five playoff games in eight seasons.
The Seattle Mariners may have caught a break in the American League wild-card race. Los Angeles Angels manager Joe Maddon told reporters (LINK) Shohei Ohtani will not make his scheduled start in Sunday’s season finale against the Mariners. Instead, the potential American League MVP will only hit for the season’s remaining games in a decision that was made by both the player and team. The Angels are 74-83 and eliminated from postseason contention. Ohtani started last Sunday’s game against the Texas Rangers and allowed a single earned run and five hits while striking out 10 in seven innings of work. The showing came after he gave up two earned runs and five hits with 10 strikeouts in his previous start against the Oakland Athletics.
Milwaukee will likely be without top setup reliever Devin Williams for the playoffs after the right-hander broke his pitching hand punching a wall after having a few drinks following Sunday’s game that clinched the National League Central division title for the Brewers. The Brewers President of baseball operations told reporters Williams will undergo surgery to put a plate in his hand to repair the fracture and that the injury will likely “keep him out for the remainder of the season.” Williams told local reporters that after the team celebration, QUOTE “I went out to have a few drinks and [at] my home I was a little frustrated, upset, and I punched a wall. That’s how it happened.” Williams, last year’s NL Rookie of the Year, is 8-2 with a 2.50 ERA and 87 strikeouts in 54 innings. The Brewers are in the postseason for the fourth straight season. They lost in the NL Championship Series to the Dodgers in 2018, lost the wild-card game to the Nationals in 2019 and were swept in the first round by the Dodgers last season.

Five-time Olympic swimming medalist Klete Keller pleaded guilty Wednesday to a felony charge for storming the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6 riot and faces 21 to 27 months in prison. Keller acknowledged in court records that he tried to obstruct Congress’ certification of President Joe Biden’s Electoral College victory, brushed away officers who tried to remove him from the Capitol Rotunda and yelled profane comments about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer as he stood near officers wearing riot gear. He also acknowledged throwing away the distinctive U.S. Olympic team jacket he wore during the riot and destroying his phone and memory card containing photos and videos he took inside the Capitol. Keller, 39, who grew up in Arizona competed in the 2000, 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics. He won two golds and a silver as a member of the 800-meter freestyle relay, as well as a pair of individual bronzes in the 400 free.
NBA players who do not comply with local vaccination requirements will not be paid for the games that they miss due to their status. Such a policy could impact players with the Warriors, Nets and Knicks, as all three teams play in areas in which local jurisdictions are requiring people to be fully vaccinated to be allowed indoors for entertainment. Last week, the Knicks general manager said the entire New York roster is vaccinated. The policy outlined Wednesday could, however, still impact the Warriors and Nets. Brooklyn guard Kyrie Irving did not attend Nets media day in person Monday due to New York City’s health and safety protocols. Irving would not comment on his specific vaccination status, saying, Monday via Zoom, that he “prefers to keep that stuff private.” The league informed teams that it was close to finalizing an agreement with the NBPA on health and safety protocols for the upcoming season. Vaccinated players will have far fewer restrictions while unvaccinated players to be under many of the same restrictions that the entire league had last year.
