Hugh Jackman is back playing Wolverine in Deadpool 3. In a surprise teaser posted on Ryan Reynold’s personal Twitter, the actor is shown seated on a sofa telling fans he was “extremely sad” about missing D23 where there was no Deadpool 3 announcement. Reynolds then shares a workout montage before talking about a potential story idea the writers had for Deadpool 3. He then asks Hugh Jackman if he wants to play Wolverine again. “Hey, Hugh, you want to play Wolverine one more time?” Reynolds asks as Jackman walks by in the background of the frame, noshing on an apple or something.  “Yeah, sure, Ryan,” he replies, heading upstairs. Jackman last played Wolverine in the 2017 X-Men spinoff Logan. At the time, Jackman publicly stated Logan would be his last film as Wolverine.  Ryan Reynolds also revealed the logo for the film and a release date of September 6, 2024.

Tom Hanks has written his first novel.  It’s called “The Making of Another Motion Picture Masterpiece”, and it’s due out in May of 2023.  It’s about the making of, quote, “a colossal, star-studded, multimillion-dollar superhero action film,” and it spans about 80 years leading up to the opening of the movie. And Tom knows what he’s talking about because, as he says, quote, “I’ve made a ton of movies (and four of them are pretty good, I think).”   He adds, quote, “Every character in the book does something I’ve experienced while making a movie, as well as discovered a philosophy or learned an important lesson. “Even the foolish moments are some kind of stunt I’ve pulled or mistake I’ve survived.”

Remember Rachel Dolezal?  She was the head of the NAACP chapter in Spokane, Washington until 2015 . . . when it was discovered that she was a white woman PRETENDING to be black. If you’re wondering what she’s been up to lately, well . . . she’s been stripping down on OnlyFans.  And some of her photos recently leaked. A Subscription to Rachel’s OnlyFans is $9.99 a month . . . and yes, she still identifies as black.

‘SNL’ alum Chris Redd is dating Christina Evangeline, the ex-wife of his former costar and pal Kenan Thompson … but we’ve learned there’s no bad blood flowing between the guys. Sources SAY Christina and Chris became official within the past year, and there was no overlap or cheating when it happened. In fact, we’re told Kenan and Christina were living separate lives, and intending to divorce since 2019. Chris — who also costarred on Kenan’s NBC sitcom — and Christina have known each other for the past 6 years, with things staying very respectful between them. Just last week, Chris announced he wouldn’t be returning for ‘SNL’s 48th season, and after he and Christina were seen out together in NYC … some fans speculated Kenan got Chris fired.  Kenan and Christina decided to end their 11-year marriage earlier this year … with the actor filing in May (LINK) to make the split official

Looks like Shakira will have to stand trial in her $13.9 million tax evasion case. On Tuesday, a Spanish judge approved a trial for Colombian singer Shakira on charges of tax fraud. Prosecutors are seeking an eight-year prison sentence, plus fines if she is convicted. Back in July, she rejected a settlement offer in the case, which would have settled the case out of court. Shakira has denied any wrongdoing, and her public relations firm maintains that she has paid what she owed plus $3 million in interest. The case hinges on where Shakira lived during the two-year time span. The performer alleges that she spent most of her time in her primary residence, the Bahamas, while prosecutors will aim to prove she spent the majority of the period in Spain.

OK..I want you guys to be the judge on this one. Michael Jackson’s high singing and speaking voice was pretty much a defining character to his personality, but on rare occasions he’d drop into a deep baritone. This…is apparently one of those times…you be the judge in this clip we have Jackson performing “In the Closet” in Copenhagen in 1997 (LINK)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRvolX7hwpI The second Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert was last night at the Forum in Los Angeles.  There were several surprises, including this one.  Miley Cyrus performs with Def Leppard and shares lead vocals with Joe Elliott on “Photograph”.  (Joe starts singing first, then Miley joins in.)  Pat Smear introduced the band by saying that he saw them live at the Forum back in 1983.  Pat and Dave Grohl play guitars, along with the band, on this one.

Queens of The Stone Age are reissuing three of their albums on vinyl with custom colorworks and restored artwork. Their 1998 self-titled debut will be re-released on black or limited-edition orange vinyl on October 21st. Queens of The Stone Age are also reissuing their 2013 LP. ‘Like Clockwork’. and their most recent album, ‘Villains’ on December 9th.  ‘Like Clockwork’ comes on either limited aqua or red vinyl with new artwork. ‘Villains’ comes in a special fifth anniversary package on leaf-green transparent or white vinyl.

Stevie Nicks appears on the upcoming Gorillaz track “Oil”. . . but before she agreed to do it, she had one condition. She says, quote, “Because of all their crazy cartoon videos . . . I want to be a Gorilla, and I want to have big, false eyelashes, and I want to have blonde hair, right?  So that’s what I said.  And so they’re doing it as we speak.” She adds, quote, “I was an honorary Heartbreaker.  I was an honorary Foo Fighter.  And now I’m an honorary Gorilla.  I’m so happy.”

Country music is crushing it on Pandora.  Last week, FOUR of the five most popular tracks on Pandora are country . . . and SEVEN of the Top 10.  Morgan Wallen has three of those:  “Wasted on You” at #1 . . . “You Proof” at #3 . . . and “Thought You Should Know” at #8.

Metal’s intergalactic ambassadors, GWAR, say despite being a total “dips**t”, Maroon 5 singer Adam Leving isn’t interesting enough to kill onstage. Refusing to lower their standards by using Levine as their next celebrity to kill during their live show, GWAR’s Blothar the Berzerker shared his thoughts on Levine’s comment that “no hot chicks listen to metal”. He said I don’t really listen to anything Adam Levine says. He is a good-looking fella… his tattoos look like a Wendy’s tablecloth or something. There’s lots of hot chicks who listen to metal, that’s ridiculous. Of course hot chicks listen to metal. I think he’s a dips**t.”

Thanks to the new Netflix series “Dahmer”, a lot of young people are learning who Jeffrey Dahmer was for the first time.  And now, they want to retroactively cancel the Katy Perry song “Dark Horse”. As you may . . . or may not . . . know, the rap break by Juicy J includes the line, “She’s a beast, I call her Karma / She eat your heart out like Jeffrey Dahmer.” And even though it’s been kicking around for a decade, the song is apparently now a danger to society. Here’s a sample Tweet:  “I didn’t know who Jeffrey Dahmer was until last week but now knowing what he did, Juicy J is sick for making people especially little kids sing that man’s name and Katy Perry is also sick for allowing that lyric in her song.” People are also piling on the Kesha song “Cannibal”, which came out in 2010 and also name drops Dahmer.

Jimmy Buffett canceled his remaining tour dates after experiencing undisclosed health issues that briefly landed him in the hospital. An Instagram message said, quote, “Jimmy will need to refrain from touring for the rest of the year.  On doctor’s orders, he must take this time to recuperate and heal.  Jimmy looks forward to getting back on stage next year.” Three shows were postponed and rescheduled for March, but two were canceled with ticket refunds.

Sports Report 1   The Cardinals claimed the National League Central crown Tuesday night with a 6-2 victory against second-place Milwaukee at American Family Field. The Cardinals earn their fourth consecutive playoff berth and will enter this year’s expanded format as the third seed in the NL playoffs. By claiming the season series against the Brewers, the Cardinals earned the tiebreaker for the division title, their 13th shared or outright title of the NL Central. Nine-time Gold Glove winner, seven-time All-Star and perennial MVP candidate Arenado is now a first-time division champion. He has the T-shirt to prove it. “It will be the first time I’ve been a part of a team that won a division,” said Arenado, who was part of last year’s wild-card Cardinals after spending eight years with Colorado behind the Dodgers. “Having a chance to win the division. That’s what I envisioned (coming to St. Louis).” In the fifth inning, Miles Mikolas set another personal record when he dropped a 60.2 mph curve for a ball which was the slowest pitch thrown in the majors by a pitcher so far this season. In the eighth inning, Cardinals closer Helsley unleashed a fastball at 104.2 mph for a ground out. That meant Tuesday’s game had the fastest and slowest pitch thrown in the majors this season. Cards play again today – Brewers, there 640 (LINK)

Three of the goals came in the third period to break a 1-1 tie between the St. Louis Blues and Chicago Blackhawks in their most recent pre-season game. Getting strong goaltending from Jordan Binnington and Vadim Zherenko as well as power play goals by Ryan O’Reilly, Justin Faulk and Nikita Alexandrov, the Blues defeated their rivals to the north 4-1. The Blues are 3-0 so far having played their first three games on the road. They will now play four of their final five exhibitions in Missouri with three games here at Enterprise Center and a game this Saturday in Kansas City against the Dallas Stars (LINK)

Golf fans loved seeing Tiger Woods’ 13-year-old son, Charlie, give his first post-golf interview (LINK).  He shot a career-low 4-under-par 68 in a junior event.  Here he is after the round.

Of Note:  We purposely didn’t tighten up this clip.  We wanted to leave his youthful nervousness intact for this sports first.  By the way, his caddie was Tiger.  Charlie finished the Florida tournament, tied for fourth, in the 12-13 division.

Myles Garrett sustained a shoulder sprain and bicep strain, minor lacerations, and some bumps and bruises during his car accident Monday afternoon, according to the Cleveland Browns.

The injuries are consistent with body camera footage TMZ.COM posted yesterday — taken just minutes after the single-car crash — where Garrett’s seen rubbing his bicep and pointing out the area to emergency responders. MG was also bleeding a lot from his right wrist at the scene. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported Garrett wrecked the car while trying to avoid an animal on the road. Police say they do not suspect alcohol or drugs were involved in the incident.

Thankfully, the Browns say Myles didn’t break any bones, and he cleared concussion protocol. Despite averting serious injury, the team says Garrett’s status for Sunday’s game against the Falcons is up in the air.

WE ARE DOOMED.  Oregon State University just unleashed the fastest bipedal robot in the world — a machine that is faster than the speed of  your average mall walker … which just clocked a 100-meter dash with the time of 24.73 seconds!!

The star robo-athlete is named Cassie … which was invented by the OSU College of Engineering. OSU says Cassie was built with knees like an ostrich and has no cameras or censors — so it is basically blind.

The big single-entry race went down at the school’s Whyte Track and Field Center … and while it may not outrun the average human, the accomplishment is incredible for a robot.

BTW Bolt’s 100-meter world record is secure at 9.58 seconds. Cassie has another major feat on its resume … after running a 5k in 53 minutes back in 2021.
