Elon Musk has apparently made good on a promise — he says he’s hired a new CEO for Twitter. In a tweet today (Thursday), Musk said, “Excited to announce that I’ve a new CEO for X/Twitter. She will be starting in [about] 6 weeks!” He plans to remain as executive chairman and chief technology officer. Musk didn’t disclose who the new CEO will be, but it looks like he’s fulfilled a vow he made in December when he said he’d step aside as soon as he found “foolish enough to take the job.” That was in response to a poll he posted in which 57.5% of respondents called on him to stop leading the company. Less than a week after Shakira was seen hanging out with Tom Cruise at the Miami Grand Prix, it appears another man has moved into the pole position in the race for the singer’s heart. Shakira was caught hanging out with Formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton on a boat. This comes after reports that Tom was hoping he’d land the singer as his new girlfriend. Pronounced: A Photographic History of Lynyrd Skynyrd from 1973 to 1977 will be published this fall in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the band’s debut album, (Pronounced ‘Lĕh-‘nérd ‘Skin-‘nérd). The 340-page coffee table book contains hundreds of rare photos. It’s limited run of 450 numbered copies were all signed by the band’s last original member, guitarist Gary Rossington, just before he died on March 5th.
