The TV rights were recently secured by Miramax, which are the same guys who produced the recent “Halloween” trilogy. Starting Monday, The Daily Show is back on Comedy Central. The late-night parody newscast has been on hiatus since the start of the writers’ strike. Guys. The Blues played last night. This is a really big deal. First game of the season. It was in Dallas, and this is wild, but there was a SHOOT OUT. But before that happened, it was Tyler Tucker – who I like to call ‘TT TUCKS’ – who got the first goal to tie up the game. There were a ton of great saves by our goalie, who’s name is escaping me right now, but he did great. Look, we had 7 minutes left in the third period and it was gonna be time for a showdown. The Blues did end up losing to the Dallas Stars – but this was just the first game played, so it’s going to be alright. Craig Berube said this after the after a 2-1 shootout loss to Dallas in the season opener: “We battled hard… It was a hard-fought game by our team. We were competitive out there and did a good job.” So don’t worry. This are going to be great. The next game is tomorrow at home, as we host the Seattle Crackheads – I mean Kraken.

In other Kelce news… Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce thinks the NFL should go back to all grass surfaces at each stadium and says the league can take its inspiration from people who like to grow marijuana! Jason said that growing grass in an indoor stadium should be easy to do while using UV lights. “There’s pot farms right down the street that are growing mountains of pot. We can grow grass indoors!”
