It was later revealed she was pregnant at the time. When she was told she had been drafted by the Jazz, she responded: “Drafted by a men’s team?” The three-time All-American at Delta State also was the first woman ever to score a basket at the Olympics, helping the United States win a silver medal at the inaugural women’s tournament in 1976 at the Montreal Games. Clearly, there is something off with this NFL player. Cleveland Browns defensive lineman Malik McDowell was completely naked while he was being arrested on Monday, Jan. 17 in Florida. He was charged with indecent exposure in public, resisting arrest with violence, and aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer. In a video…you can see the 6-foot-6, 290-pound football player naked on the ground as officers tried to arrest him. Cops say McDowell was seen walking around naked near a children’s learning center when they found him. Officers confronted him, and McDowell then attacked the one cop. His attorney said he may have been slipped something or given something that he was unaware of and which could explain the bizarre behavior. The Browns released a statement on Tuesday, saying, “We are aware of the very concerning incident and arrest involving Malik McDowell and are in the process of gathering more information.”
Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Lerentee McCray was arrested on Sunday morning after a high-speed pursuit with police. According to court records obtained by DiRocco, McCray was issued a citation for speeding and was charged with fleeing/eluding police with disregard of safety to person or property, which is a second-degree felony. “We are aware of the situation and are gathering more information,” the Jaguars said in a statement to ESPN. “We have no further comment at this time.” The police report went on to say that McCray was pursued by two police vehicles at speeds up to 100 mph. The officers stopped chasing after McCray’s vehicle began being driven recklessly and swerving across three lanes of traffic. McCray was later apprehended by the FPPD officer after he was informed by the members of the Tavares Police Department that McCray had come to a stop and appeared to be in an altered mental status. McCray was transported to a local hospital for a medical evaluation.

Athletes at the Beijing Olympics were urged by human rights activists Tuesday to avoid criticizing China because they could be prosecuted. The International Olympic Committee has said athletes will have freedom of speech at next month’s Winter Games when speaking to journalists or posting on social media. However, the Olympic Charter rule that prohibits political protests at medal ceremonies also requires “applicable public law” to be followed. The IOC has not yet publicly committed to how athletes who speak out would be protected, activists said in a briefing hosted by Human Rights Watch.
