Angela Lansbury died peacefully in her sleep yesterday morning at 1:30 a.m.  Lansbury is best known for solving crimes as Jessica Fletcher on the CBS drama “Murder, She Wrote”.  The show was on for 12 seasons, and she was nominated for an Emmy for it every year . . . but never won. Overall she was 0 for 18 at the Emmys, but she did win five Tonys, and got an honorary Oscar in 2013.  She was actually nominated for the Academy Award three times in her career. The nominations were for “Gaslight” in 1944, “The Picture of Dorian Gray” in 1945, and “The Manchurian Candidate” in 1962. The other thing Angela will be remembered for is being the voice of Mrs. Potts in Disney’s original, fully-animated “Beauty and the Beast”. Angela is survived by three children, three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was 96 years old . . . her 97th birthday would have been on Sunday.

Yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  But that never stops people from using that old Greek formula that’s commonly referred to as the Golden Ratio of Beauty to pit women against each other. The latest analysis, by some plastic surgeon I’m not gonna give free airtime to, claims that Jodie Comer from “Killing Eve” and “Free Guy” has the most perfectly-arranged face on Earth. Jodie’s features were found to be 94.25% accurate to the Golden Ratio, which put her at the top of the heap.

Here’s the Top 10:

  1. Jodie Comer,  94.52%
  2. Zendaya,  94.37%
  3. Bella Hadid,  94.35%
  4. Beyoncé,  92.44%
  5. Ariana Grande,  91.81%
  6. Taylor Swift,  91.64%
  7. British model Jourdan Dunn,  91.39%
  8. Kim Kardashian,  91.28%
  9. Indian actress Deepika Padukone,  91.22%
  10.  HoYeon Jung from “Squid Game”,  89.63%

If you’re wondering who has the most attractive individual features, Beyoncé wins overall face shape, while Jodie Comer has the best nose.  Bella Hadid has the most perfect eyes and chin, and Deepika Pudakone is the eyebrow queen. Zendaya has the best lips and forehead.

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick were among the victims of Bernie Madoff’s infamous Ponzi scheme.  And in a new interview, Kevin admits that they lost MOST of their money. He says, quote, “There’s obvious life lessons there.  You know, if something is too good to be true, it’s too good to be true.  “And when something like that happens, you know, you look at each other, then you go, ‘Well, that sucks.  Let’s, roll up our sleeves and get to work,’ you know?” He adds, quote, “We’ve made it this far.  Our kids are healthy.  We’re healthy.  We can still both work and certainly, you get angry and stuff, but I have to say that there were a lot of people who were much worse off than we were.”

Earlier this year, a movie called “Being Mortal” shut down production due to allegations of inappropriate behavior by Bill Murray. At the time, Bill called it a “difference of opinion,” claiming that he thought what he did was FUNNY, but it wasn’t taken that way.  And he admitted, quote, “Things change and the times change, so it’s important for me to figure it out.” Well, we now know what Bill did that caused all this chaos.  He and a female staffer were both wearing masks, and Bill started kissing her body.  He also straddled her and pressed his mouth against hers. The word is that Bill really WAS just joking, and he felt bad that she didn’t feel the same way.  He was also upset that he may have cost people their jobs.  He paid the woman a $100,000 settlement, and both of them want to finish the movie. “Being Mortal” will be Aziz Ansari’s directorial debut . . . if production ever starts up again.  There’s no word yet if that’s happening.

“Days of Our Lives” moved from NBC to the Peacock streaming service last month . . . and dove straight into the GUTTER.  Last Thursday’s episode featured the first THREE-WAY in the history of daytime TV. If it matters to you, the characters involved were Allie Horton, Chanel Dupree, and the very lucky Alex Kiriakis.  Well, you might want to check on Grandma, because chances are she is NOT okay.  A lot of longtime viewers who somehow know how to navigate social media have been complaining.  Here are some of their comments:

  1. “DAYS of our Lives is disgusting now!!  I have watched for over 40 years.  I didn’t know it could get any more disgusting but now they have young people having threesomes!  No wonder our country [is] spiraling out of control.”
  1. “Today’s episode was disgusting.  Days has gone too far with the Allie, Chanel, Alex storyline.   This is obscene.  I’m done!”
  1. “Well today’s show with the threesome was the last straw.  I’ve been trying to stay with the show because I have watched it since I was a kid and I’m 59, so a long time.  But I’m done. This is just too much and I don’t support their views anymore.  It’s so sad but the move to Peacock is going to be the end of the show for the long timers.  Makes me mad they took it away from us.  Bye Days.”
  1. “I’m really shocked and highly disappointed in Days bringing on a threesome.  It’s an all-time low for me for Days to be so desperate to do this.  Where do you draw the line, writers?”Netflix’s Jeffrey Dahmer limited series is now the second most-watched English language title in the platform’s history. The streamer’s rankings for the week of Oct. 3-9 show Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Storyracking up 205.33 million hours of viewing time worldwide, ranking first for the third week in a row. That brings the total to 701.37 million hours since its Sept. 21 debut — good for second place on Netflix’s all-time ranking of English-language series. Dahmer passed season two of Bridgerton (656.26 million hours over its first 28 days) over the course of the week.

The release dates of several Marvel movies have been pushed back . . . mainly because their upcoming “Blade” movie with Mahershala Ali recently lost its director. Now that they have to search for a replacement, they’re moving “Blade” from November of 2023 to September of 2024. That pushes “Deadpool 3” from September of 2024 to November of 2024. “Fantastic Four” is moving from November of 2024 to February of 2025. And “Avengers: Secret Wars” is moving from November of 2025 to May of 2026.  “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty” is still scheduled for May of 2025.  But that means there will now be a year in between the two “Avengers” movies, instead of six months, like they originally planned.

Ladies and Gentlemen – I am here today to bring you this week’s:  Why Is This Celebrity News But It’s Everywhere And I’m Going To Tell You About It Story of the Week!  Tyler, the Creator had his mind blown recently, when he discovered that there’s a “Rush Hour 3”.  And he’s not sure how to process that information.  In a Tweet yesterday, Tyler said he finished watching “Rush Hour 2”, and he was just about to say how sad he was that they never made a third one.  But before he could, his TV suggested that he watch “Rush Hour 3” next. He said, quote, “When the [eff] did this happen, where was I, I do not remember this existing.  This is fake, I’ve been lied to, I’m not gonna watch it either.” He added, quote, “I don’t believe this is real.  Mandela effect or something.” The Mandela Effect is when a large group of people remembers an event or detail that NEVER HAPPENED or DOESN’T EXIST. For the record, “Rush Hour 3” is indeed real.

Michelle Yeoh and Pete Davidson have boarded Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, the seventh installment of the Paramount Pictures franchise based on Hasbro’s Transformers action figures and inspired by the popular 1990s Beast Wars property. Yeoh will lend her voice to the Airazor character, and Davidson will voice Mirage.

Returning to the action of the original franchise movie 15 years ago with the original Transformers, the latest sequel Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will offer a 1990s globetrotting adventure and introduce the Maximals and Terrorcons to the existing battle on earth between Autobots and Decepticons.  The movie is planned for  a 6/9/23 release.

Blake Shelton announced that the next season of “The Voice” will be his last.  He’s been a coach since Season One, which premiered in 2011.  Season 23 will also include new coaches Chance the Rapper and One Direction member Niall Horan, and the return of Kelly Clarkson.

Eagles Of Death Metal’s Jesse Hughes says his bandmate Josh Homme has recorded a new Queens of The Stone Age album. While talking about recording a new Eagles album on Instagram Live, Hughes added “Queens just did one, now we’re doing ours now.” Queens of The Stone Age has also announced appearances at several 2023 European festivals.

When you see the headline “Porn Star Breaks Her Back,” your thoughts wander, don’t they?  Well, Adriana Chechik didn’t injure herself at work, per se.  She cracked her back after jumping into a foam pit at TwitchCon in San Diego on Saturday. Adriana participated in an elevated jousting match, and after she won, she jumped into the pit. The fall was not good.  When she struggled to get out, onlookers came in to help.  On Sunday, Adriana tweeted, “Well, I broke my back in two places and am getting surgery to put a meter rod in for support today. Send your support.” The folks at the convention might need to ensure insurance was in place because another person jumping into the foam pit dislocated their knee. Ouch! (LINK)

With this year’s installment of the When We Were Young Festival (LINK) set to take place in just a couple of weeks, the event’s organizers are already looking toward next year, having just announced an impressive 2023 lineup that includes over 50 bands with Blink-182  as the headliner. Yesterday, Blink-182 officially announced the return of DeLonge. There’s a new record on the way with an appearance at the When We Were Young Festival being one of dozens on the books amid a 2023 and 2024 world tour. It’s not the only reunion destined for the WWWY stage next year, with Say Anything, Something Corporate and Finch all returning at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on Oct. 21. Look for tickets to go on sale on to the general public Oct. 14.

Who is the world’s hottest bald man?  You don’t have to answer that, because science already has.  It’s Vin Diesel.  A “search engine optimization” company called Reboot looked at a bunch of different factors, including the infamous “Golden Ratio”, an equation that supposedly measures facial beauty and perfection.

They also calculated net worth, height, and how often each guy was described as hot on Twitter.  And since we’re talking BALD men, they factored in CRANIAL SHINE FACTOR . . . the higher the better.

For instance, Vin’s head has a cranial luminance of 563.65 candelas per square meter.  That means his head “reflects light with 70.46% of the luminous intensity of a standard lightbulb.”  Which is apparently pretty impressive.

Based on the various criteria, they gave everyone a score out of 10.

With that in mind, here are the sexiest bald men on Earth . . .

  1. Vin Diesel,  6.46
  1. Stanley Tucci,  6.33
  1. Shemar Moore,  6.25
  1.  Pitbull,  6.16
  1.  Prince William,  6.13
  1.  Jason Statham,  5.96
  1.  Bruce Willis,  4.75
  1. Joe Rogan,  4.37
  1.  Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson,  3.62
  1.  Mike Tyson,  2.50

Sports Report 1

The Seattle Mariners had led all of yesterday’s game against the Astros in Houston.  Great offense and exciting baseball pretty much the whole game. It all made for a great highlight reel of the game. And the ending was no exception. Down by multiple runs in Houston and the Astros are down to their final out. Base hit, runners on, still alive. They bring in a different pitcher to then face Yordan Alvarez and this happened with one out to go in the bottom of the ninth. It’s a walk off! I feel so bad for Mariners fans. We have so many friends that are fans and have been waiting for anything good since the Griffey’s. Final Score:  Astros beat the Mariners 8 to 7.  Game 2 is tomorrow.

Philadelphia held on to beat Atlanta, 7 to 6.  Game 2 is today.

The Yankees outslugged Cleveland, 4 to 1.  Game 2 is tomorrow.

And last night, the Dodgers outdid the Padres,  5 to 3.  Game 2 is tonight.

The Cardinals were swept by the Phillies in their recent first-round playoff series, but the roles were reversed in terms of television ratings.

According to Nielsen, which tabulates viewership, the two games were seen in an average of 14.1% of homes in the St. Louis market. The number in Philadelphia was 10.5.

But neither contest generated a rating close to 23, which was the number in St. Louis for the Cardinals’ winner-take-all wild-card game last year against the Dodgers. The figures for the Philadelphia series follow a regular season in which the Cards had the best local TV rating in the majors — 7.3, which was the team’s best since recording the same number in 2018. Las Vegas Raiders receiver Davante Adams pushed a camera man to the ground while walking towards the tunnel after Monday night’s 30-29 loss at the Kansas City Chiefs. Adams, who could face discipline by the league, issued an apology at his locker: “I want to apologize to the guy, there was some guy running off the field, and he ran, like jumped in front of me coming off the field and I bumped into him, kind of pushed him, and he ended up on the ground. So I wanted to say sorry to him for that because that was just frustration mixed with him literally just running in front of me. I shouldn’t have responded that way, but that’s how I initially responded. So, I want to apologize to him for that.” Several NFL fans on Twitter want the guy to sue Adams for the shove.

Well this just in The photographer shoved to the ground has officially filed a police report against the NFL superstar, claiming he was injured during the incident and had to go to the hospital. The latest report says he did go to cops at Arrowhead Stadium at around 10:30 PM — just moments after Adams had pushed him. Authorities say he claimed he was the victim of an assault. They say he told them he suffered injuries … though they were “thought to be non-life threatening.” They added that the man was later transported to the hospital. Cops say they are investigating it all — and following the completion of the probe, detectives “will coordinate with the applicable city or state prosecutor to determine any applicable charges.”

Former Angels staffer Eric Kay has just been sentenced to 22 years in federal prison … this after he was convicted of providing the drugs that led to Tyler Skaggs‘ death. A federal judge in Texas just announced the sentence. Kay, who’s 48, had been facing a minimum of 20 years … and up to life behind bars. The longtime L.A. media relations official was initially arrested back in 2020 … after authorities alleged he had given pills laced with fentanyl (LINK) to Skaggs — which ultimately led to the pitcher’s tragic passing. Officials claimed they had text message conversations between Kay and Skaggs from the night of the pitcher’s overdose — which prosecutors used as evidence to show the two talking about drugs. Kay was indicted in 2020 on 1 count of conspiracy to possess fentanyl with the intent to distribute and 1 count of distribution of a controlled substance resulting in death. He was found guilty of the charges (LINK) back in Feb. As we reported, Skaggs passed away in his hotel room in July 2019 just before the Angels were slated to take on the Rangers in a series in Texas. Toxicology results revealed he died from a deadly mix of booze, fentanyl and oxycodone. He was just 27 years old

This dude seems like a lot. And theres been a lot out there about him recently and not just with this scandal. Brett Favre is finally breaking his silence on his alleged role in the Mississippi welfare funds scandal … insisting this week, “I have done nothing wrong.” Favre released a lengthy statement to “set the record straight” — “No one ever told me, and I did not know, that funds designated for welfare recipients were going to the University or me,” Favre was also accused of pocketing over $1 million in welfare funds for public speaking engagements that he allegedly blew off. Texts to an official appeared to show Favre knew what he was getting into … with one reading, “If you were to pay me is there any way the media can find out where it came from and how much?”

And for my favorite video of the day: Leading off the fifth inning for the New York Yankees in their AL Division Series opener (LINK) Tuesday night, Josh Donaldson sent an opposite-field drive to right against Cleveland with the score tied 1-all. Dude swung, smashed that ball into the air and started his sweet playoff home run trot. Low fives the first base coach and half way to second eeerrrrrtttt. His no hustle was noticed as he raced back to first and was thrown out. Dude hit a single into right field and got embarrassed in the playoffs. Donaldson was credited with a single since he did reach first before being thrown out. This is his second time pulling this move in the last 2 months
