Kat Dennings and Andrew W.K. are engaged. She is on “WandaVision” actress, 34, and the musician, 42, announced their engagement yesterday on Instagram. “Don’t mind if I do,” Mr. W.K. married Cherie Lily in 2008. They “began amicable divorce proceedings in late 2019,” Apparently there’s no bad blood. These 2 “met earlier this year in Los Angeles.”Dennings does seem to have a thing for musicians: She last dated Josh Groban (link), though the pair split up in 2016.
Elon Musk’s net worth has plunged roughly $20 billion since he appeared as the host of “SNL” last week. Apparently it’s a combination of cryptocurrencies like dogecoin or bitcoin, and Tesla stock – losing value that is driving down his overall net worth. He is still scraping by at a net worth of $145.5 billion. At market close yesterday, Tesla shares (link) were down 18.2% . Bitcoin (link) prices dropped almost 9%. Dogecoin (link), that Musk called a “hustle” during a “Weekend Update” bit (link) — is down nearly 6%. Part of what caused the crypto markets to slide so drastically was Tesla no longer accepting bitcoin (link) as payment for its electric vehicles. Musk was previously all-in on bitcoin payments but said the company couldn’t keep taking them in good conscience, because the digital firepower it takes to mine the coins using heavy-duty computers is a huge strain on the environment. One single bitcoin transaction uses the same amount of electricity as the average U.S. household can use in a month, according to The New Yorker (link).
The good news is, she’s doing this to raise money for her foundation, which supports, quote, “women’s empowerment, COVID relief, LGBTQIA+ organizations, environmental causes, and fighting institutionalized racism.” CARA DELEVINGNE is selling her first NFT. It’s a video of her, from about the shoulders up. She looks like she could be naked, and she’s talking about . . . HER VAGINA. She says, quote, “My first word was ‘mine.’ To me, that means something that is most mine . . . my vagina. I own it. It’s mine and no one else’s. I choose what I do with it. And no one can take that away from me.” That’s it. That’s the whole thing. And you can watch it any time you want on her Instagram (link) without spending a dime. But the NFT represents the “official” version of it, so for whatever reason, it’s worth more than the millions of exact copies that could potentially be floating around cyberspace.
The “Friends” reunion special is finally hitting HBO Max on the 27th. Yes, of THIS MONTH. That’s two weeks from yesterday. And that’s not all. In addition to the main cast, the show is loaded with guest stars, including JUSTIN BIEBER, LADY GAGA, BTS, Other A-listers making an appearance include famous fans AND people who’ve appeared on the show, including Reese Witherspoon, Tom Selleck, Elliott Gould and Christina Pickles (who played Ross and Monica’s parents) . . .Cindy Crawford, James Corden, Kit Harrington, Mindy Kaling, and . . . perhaps most importantly . . . MAGGIE WHEELER, a.k.a. Janice.
JIMMY FALLON is developing “The Kids Tonight Show” with NBC . . . and it’s exactly what it sounds like: A late night-style show for kids. The idea is that it’ll be hosted by kids, and it’ll have kids “in charge of everything.” The show will feature bits similar to the ones on the actual “Tonight Show” . . . but probably minus the drinking games. The show is being developed for NBC’s Peacock streaming service. There aren’t any further details on potential hosts, and they haven’t said if the show will book the typical celebrities . . . or if the guests will only be kids as well.
SETH ROGEN shaved his beard, and when you couple it with the weight he’s lost recently, it’s INSANE how different he looks. Seth shaved for the upcoming Hulu miniseries “Pam and Tommy”. He plays Rand Gauthier, the guy who stole PAMELA ANDERSON and TOMMY LEE’s sex tape and released it. Seth posted some shots (link) of himself and his new look. SHARON STONE was even inspired to comment, “You are super cool and I want to work with you dude.”
As the U.S. moves closer to reopening seemingly every day, it looks like a big step forward will come in mid-summer, when the Lollapalooza (link) Festival will return to Chicago with a four-day event at its usual place and date range — Grant Park, July 29-August 1 — sources tell Variety. The city of Chicago gave the event the greenlight at near-to or -full-capacity, insiders report, and an official announcement, likely with headliners, is expected to come next week. Reps for festival organizers C3 Presents declined Variety’s request for comment, although one told the Chicago Tribune (link) late last month, “We are excited about the progress in Chicago as the city continues to reopen. We are in close contact with city and public health officials as we continue to plan for the festival and remain optimistic about Lollapalooza 2021 in Grant Park.” The festival’s website still has the 2020 dates and lineup posted.
Whats in your perfect burrito? TWENTY ONE PILOTS have a new album coming out next Friday called “Scaled and Icy”, and to celebrate, they’re launching their own . . . BURRITO. It’s a cross-promotion with Chipotle. They even put out a video (link) where JOSH DUN hops behind the counter and makes a burrito for his bandmate TYLER JOSEPH. And if you want, YOU can order “the official Twenty One Pilots Burrito” through Chipotle’s website or their mobile app. It’s filled with chicken, white rice, tomato salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, cheese, romaine lettuce, and queso blanco.
Milli Vanilli is getting their documentary. It’ll be called “Girl You Know It’s True.” The film will chronicle the rise and fall of the most infamous Grammy winners in history. In 1987, German producer Frank Farian brought together immigrants Fab Morvan and Rob Pilatus to create the pop duo Milli Vanilli. The two produced one of the biggest hits of the decade, won the Grammy for Best New Artist and sold over 10 million records. But after it was revealed that the two had lip-synced their multi-platinum 1989 album, it caused a scandal that led to them being stripped of their awards, their financial independence, their dignity as artists and, eventually, Pilatus’ tragic death. The film will feature never-before-seen footage as well as interviews with the actual singers behind Milli Vanilli’s music and exclusive access to surviving member Morvan.

PAUL MCCARTNEY is 78 years old, and he still has fantastic eyesight. He doesn’t even need glasses when he reads the newspaper. Why? Because he practices EYE YOGA. He learned it from a yogi in India. Two years ago, JADEN SMITH launched his “I Love You” food truck (link), to feed the homeless in L.A.’s Skid Row area. And now he’s turning it into a restaurant. He’ll fund it by encouraging people who CAN pay to pay MORE, in order to fund the free meals for those in need. There’s no word when or where it’ll open.

The Blues played the last game of the regular season last night as they took on the Minnesota Wild. At one point, the Blues were down 3-0. Then…the Blues got consecutive goals from Zach Sanford, Brayden Schenn, David Perron, Schenn again, Perron again, and then two goals from Jordan Kyrou. Yeah. You heard me correctly. SEVEN unanswered goals. Final score…7-3.

Burnes struck out Dylan Carlson in the first inning and then Tyler O’Neill and Harrison Bader in the second inning to set the record.
The New York Yankees continue to deal with what general manager Brian Cashman called an “aggressive” COVID-19 variant, which has now sidelined shortstop Gleyber Torres for at least 10 days. The Yankees have confirmed eight cases of COVID-19 this week, with Torres being the first player to test positive over that stretch. The previous seven cases had been among the Yankees’ coaching and support staffs, including pitching coach Matt Blake, third-base coach Phil Nevin and first-base coach Reggie Willits.
Minnesota Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor has reached a verbal agreement on a $1.5 billion sale of the team to former baseball star Alex Rodriguez and e-commerce mogul Marc Lore. NBA approval of the deal was still pending, and neither side has publicly announced an agreement. The two sides had entered an exclusive 30-day negotiating window April 10 that expired without an agreement, though the sides continued to negotiate in good faith. Taylor previously said a deal was contingent on Lore and Rodriguez keeping the team in Minnesota. The team has a lease at the Target Center through 2035, but the buyout is $50 million.
A massage therapist has been barred from Ohio State’s campus and from having any interaction with Ohio State athletics members after an independent investigation found she had engaged in inappropriate behavior targeting members of the Buckeyes football team. The university released statements and a full report on the investigation, concluding that the massage therapist had no affiliation with the university or its athletics department and that the school does not believe any NCAA rules were violated. The massage therapist is a 41-year-old woman who lives roughly two hours north of campus and obtained her massage therapy license in 2009 in Ohio. She claims to have had clients in the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and NCAA football. An investigation began after a complaint filed on March 14, 2020, with the State Medical Board of Ohio that alleged a female licensed massage therapist was offering free therapeutic massages to members of the Ohio State football team. She had been using the massages as a “means to initiate sexual interactions with some of the football student athletes, and then demanding payment.” The investigation also revealed that, at some point in 2020, the massage therapist contacted committed recruits on national signing day claiming to be a masseuse for the team. In total, 34 football players had knowledge of the massage therapist, with 20 receiving massages only and five football players acknowledging during interviews that they had engaged in sexual activities with her.
And finally – the Preakness is this weekend and you will see a familiar horse on the track. Medina Spirit is scheduled to run and apparently has already been drug tested. If the tests come back positive, the horse will be pulled from the race. If the horse isn’t positive – good to go. Right now Medina Spirit is the favorite followed by Concert Tour and Midnight Bourbon. Concert Tour is the son of 2007 Kentucky Derby winner Street Sense By Purse Strings
