As you’ve probably heard, Elon Musk suspended Kanye West from Twitter, after he posted a picture of a Star of David merged with a swastika. And then Musk got dragged by Jack White. Not for banning Kanye . . . but for his very mixed, muddled, and seat-of-your-pants messaging when it comes to “free speech.” Jack said, quote, “So Elon, how’s that ‘free speech’ thing working out? Oh, I see, so you have to CHOOSE who gets free speech and who doesn’t then?” He added, quote, “It’s nice to watch in real time as you learn that all things need to be regulated, whether that be guns, drugs, alcohol, assembly, or speech because of the danger of someone or something being hurt or destroyed. “They’re sometimes called ‘laws’. And perhaps you’re learning how harmful it can be when you let dangerous, hateful people say whatever they want on your stage.”
Another person thinks James Corden is trash. It’s Mel B. . . a.k.a. Scary Spice. She was actually asked to name the biggest [D-head] celebrity she’s ever met. It seems crazy now, but there was a time when celebrities were stigmatized for trying to help people with AIDS. Sharon Stone says that when she started working with amfAR in 1995, her career took a hit. Quote, “I stayed for 25 years until we had AIDS remedies being advertised on TV like we have aspirin. “It did destroy my career. I didn’t work for eight years. I was told if I said condom again, funding would be removed. I was threatened repeatedly, my life was threatened, and I decided I had to stick with it.” Obviously, she feels it was worth it. Quote, “Now 37 million are living with HIV AIDS, living functioning and healthy.”

Did that Marilyn Monroe movie “Blonde” upset you? Well, the director is pretty pleased about that. He says we’re living in a time where women have to be presented as empowered and people want to reinvent Marilyn as an empowered woman. But since that’s not what he did, it bothered people. Quote, “Which is kind of strange, because she’s dead. The movie doesn’t make any difference in one way or another. What they really mean is that the film exploited their memory of her, their image of her, which is fair enough . . . “But that’s the whole idea of the movie. It’s trying to take the iconography of her life and put it into service of something else. But that’s what they don’t want to see.”
Actress Lake Bell would like you to know that she’s a better parent when she’s . . . HIGH???During a panel on normalizing marijuana for Cann-Do cannabis products, she admitted she can’t get through the holidays without it. Quote, “I am straight up a better parent . . . I’m like on their level. I’m just like, ‘That is [an effing] crazy dinosaur! Like, ‘Let’s get on the ground right now and be [effing] crazy dinosaurs, let’s open some presents. [Eff] it.’ I become literally a kid.” Lake even wrote and directed a short film about a holiday gathering that’s basically saved by Cann-Do cannabis-infused drinks.
Tom Hanks just launched a packaged goods company called Hanx for Our Troops. And he’s giving 100% of its profits to organizations that provide aid to U.S. military veterans and their families. You can buy all three flavors in pods, while First Class Joe is available in grounds, and Joe and Morning Magic Blend are available as coffee sticks. We owe them our gratitude, eh?”
Nick Cannon needed to slow down. The performer landed in the hospital with pneumonia after a Wild N Out concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden. He posted an Instagram photo from a hospital bed. Cannon wrote, “Okay, so I guess I’m not Superman.” He added, “Don’t trip though, I don’t need any well wishes or prayers, just some solid rest and I will be back on the journey to becoming stronger than ever… it’s just pneumonia, nothing I can’t handle.”

Houston authorities arrested two people suspected of the murder of Takeoff. 33-year-old Patrick Clark was charged with murder. Cameron Joshua was charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon. Reps from the Houston Police said: “We were able to deduce that Patrick Clark is the lethal shooter in the case, and that’s why he’s being charged with murder.” Clark applied for an expedited passport and reportedly had a Mexico itinerary attached to the request. He had a large amount of cash when he was arrested. They also said… said, “I can tell you that Takeoff was not involved in playing in the dice game, he was not involved in the argument that happened outside. Someone always has to come along and ruin a good thing. For decades now, Axl Rose has ended Guns N’ Roses shows by throwing his microphone into the crowd. But during a recent show in Adelaide, Australia, some woman had to go and get HIT IN THE FACE by it, and end up with two black eyes and a bruised nose. And now . . . no more free microphones for us! On Friday night, Axl Tweeted, quote, “We don’t want anyone getting hurt or to somehow in any way hurt anyone at any of [our] shows anywhere. “Having tossed the mic at the end of [our] show for over 30 years we always felt it was a known part of the very end of [our] performance that fans wanted and were aware of to have an opportunity to catch the mic.” “Regardless in the interest of public safety from now on we’ll refrain from tossing the mic or anything to the fans during or at [our] performances.”

The Blues have lost five of their last six games and have fallen to 11-13-0 on the season. Their penalty kill is awful. This past Saturday it gave up two goals to the league’s 27th-ranked power play unit – and a third goal just two seconds after a Pittsburgh power play, or before St. Louis really had a chance to reset to 5-on-5 play. Blues lose 6-2 HERES THE FINAL CALL. When asked about the penalty kill Coach Berube said ““PK was horse(bleep),” “Absolutely horse(bleep). . . .We score and we take a stupid penalty and it’s in our net again.” Blues take on the Rangers today at 6pm

Deion Sanders was officially hired to be the new head coach at Colorado. Sanders will owe a buyout to Jackson State. Sanders will owe JSU about $300,000 for a contract buyout, according to a copy of the agreement he signed in 2020 that currently expires on Dec. 15, 2024. The contract requires Sanders to pay half the remaining salary on his deal if he leaves for another job, so long as Ashley Robinson is still the athletics director at Jackson State.
Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson ran out onto the field for his first regular-season game in 700 days on Sunday, and he did not receive the warmest welcome. Watson and the Browns faced off in Houston against his former team, and the Texans fans let him know how they felt. Before Watson’s first official snap, Texans fans let him hear it with a chorus of boos. His family was there to offset the hostile crowd and showed their support with everyone wearing #4 jerseys in the stands. The NFL suspended Watson for 11 games and fined him $5 million after the quarterback faced numerous allegations of sexual misconduct from massage therapists. Watson also agreed to follow a treatment plan by professional behavioral experts. He’s been advised by his behavioral clinical team not to speak about his treatment program and recovery, but league sources say “he has made progress.” It wasn’t a pretty game for Deshaun Watson in his return after sitting out almost two years. Cleveland’s defense and special teams ensured the Browns won despite his struggles. The final score was 27-14.
