Aerosmith have started rehearsing for their Peace Out farewell tour, which starts on September 2nd in Philadelphia. Now people are calling out Sandra Bullock to return her Oscar for “The Blind Side” . . . One guy said, quote, “Sandra Bullock should give her Oscar back. She knows she didn’t deserve that [crap]!” Another said, quote, “For some reason, the whole blind side was fake thing makes me just hate Sandra Bullock.” But film critic Richard Roeper injected some SANITY into the debate, saying, quote, “Sandra Bullock starred in the fictionalized adaptation of ‘The Blind Side’. Jamie Rivers will replace Darren Pang — who early this summer took an offer to move to the Chicago Blackhawks’ television team.
Rivers, a former Blues defenseman, has been in the rotation of BSM’s Blues studio analysts for nearly a decade and had 27 appearances last season. He also filled in on games over the previous two years when Pang was doing national broadcasting assignments on TNT —. Rodion Amirov, the No. 15 overall selection in the first round of the 2020 NHL Draft, has died, his agent Dan Milstein announced Monday.
Amirov, a native of Russia, was only 21 years old. He was diagnosed with brain cancer in February 2022 and had been battling the disease ever since. The Maple Leafs who selected him in that draft also acknowledged is sad passing.
CBC senior wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan has received offers from 43 NCAA Division I schools and 41 came from Power Five Conferences. He narrowed his choices to Ohio State, Oregon and Missouri earlier this month before announcing his much anticipated choice.
