Some creep in Florida was harassing two women (link) at a bar last week.  So their bartender pretended to pass one of them a receipt.  But it was really a note telling her to flip her ponytail to her other shoulder if she needed help.  Now people online are calling him a hero after a photo of him holding the note went viral.

A couple couldn’t agree on a baby name . . . so they both call their daughter something different.  They split up shortly after the woman got pregnant, and they BOTH “named” the girl after their own grandmothers.  There’s no word what the two names are.  (Full Story)

DMX died on April 2nd. Def Jam Records covered his funeral expenses to the tune of about $35,000.00. The bill was initially sent to X’s family, but Def Jam paid off everything from the flowers and hearse to the embalming and casket.

JAMES MICHAEL TYLER, we all know and love as Gunther from Friends. He was piped in on a screen for the Friends reunion show recently. Myself and everyone else immediately went uh oh…he looked unwell and it wasn’t explained now HE is explaining. He’s 59, the cancer has spread to his spine, leading to paraplegia. It was his call to NOT appear at the reunion in person, he didn’t want THAT to be a focus and bring everyone down.

Billie Eilish (link) is both apologizing for and clarifying a video of her using an Asian slur and seemingly mocking Asian accents … saying the clip isn’t entirely as it appears. She was mouthing along to a Tyler the Creator song called Fish. She said she was like 13 or 14 and never heard the word before as it was never used around her. So she didn’t know what it meant. It was also mentioned that Mr Creator didn’t get any crap about having that word in a song.

Which brings me to Ricky Gervais’sssssss message for those who complain on Twitter.

Guess who has their own booze on the market now? Nathan Apodaca brought joy to an entire nation way more than 15 minutes ago posted a video of himself skateboarding to work, drinking his Ocean Spray, and singing along to Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams”.  Well, now he’s bringing us a new kind of joy with his very own cranberry juice. LOADED cranberry juice.  It’s called Cranberry Dreams Cosmo (link), and it’s 11.1% alcohol.  It’s on sale now in 2,000 liquor, grocery, and convenience stores . . . and it’ll be available online soon.

Anyone recall “Cold Gin” from  KISS. The kings of marketing KISS finally coming out with their own branded gin . . . about 47 years after the release of that song.  One catch, though.  It’s a partnership with a Swedish company and is currently only available in Europe. The alcohol is described as a, quote, “New York-style” non-aged gin with 40% alcohol content. It’s been distilled five times for a more intense flavor and has bold juniper, lemon, and herb undertones. The company says, quote, “Let the bold and classic notes be the star of this gin and tonic show . . .  just add some black peppercorns, a light squeeze of fresh lemon juice, and a lemon wedge.”

Palm Springs city officials unveiled a 26-foot MARILYN MONROE statue on Sunday night, If you think of a statue of her what pose did you think of? The statue is called “Forever Marilyn” and is based on the famous flowing skirt scene from “The Seven Year Itch”.  The main issue protestors have with it is that you can stand under it and see Marilyn’s underwear. Even the museum is worried visitors will think it’s part of their exhibit.  As for now, it’s expected to be in the location for three years.

In 2019, Spielberg reportedly urged the Motion Picture Academy to ban movies released to theaters and streaming services simultaneously from Oscar consideration.  Apparently, he never actually did that, but he is still a champion (link) of people seeing movies in theaters. Tony…quick Q and A…  STEVEN SPIELBERG and his Amblin production company have entered into a deal to make movies for A Pornhub or B KPLR channel 11or C Netflix?  The answer is C Netflix.  Amblin already DOES help produce stuff for streaming . . . including the Netflix series “The Haunting of Hill House”. Under the new deal, Amblin will produce two movies a year for Netflix, for an unspecified number of years.

Korn bassist Fieldy is taking a haitus from the band. In a social media statement, Fieldy told fans “The past 6 years I’ve been dealing with some personal issues that at times have caused me to fall back on some of my bad habits and has caused some tension with the people around me. It’s been suggested to me to take some time off to heal. I’m going to respect what was asked of me and take that time. Unfortunately, you will not see me on stage with my band.” The bassist said he’ll be “working towards getting the bad habits” out of his system.  He then addressed his bandmates, writing “I love you and I don’t want to bring any tension or bad vibes to the circle.” Korn, who is set to tour with Staind this summer, hasn’t commented on Fieldy’s hiatus.

With this the last week for “Conan” on TBS, Paul Rudd (link) actually crashed Bill Hader’s (link) appearance with Conan O’Brien (link) to pull off what might be the most epic variation yet on the prank he’s been pulling for nearly 20 years. Paul finds it insincere and a little pathetic to come onto a talk show and hawk his projects and play clips of them. So he fell on this idea many years ago to instead play an absolutely atrocious clip from the awful 1988 “E.T.” knock-off, “Mac & Me”.

Mark HARMON will only appear in a limited number of episodes during the upcoming season of “NCIS”. Harmon reportedly didn’t even want to come back for Season 19.  But CBS told him the show would probably be canceled without him, so he negotiated a limited role to keep it alive. How limited?  A source says he’ll only make “a few” appearances . . . like in the single digits.  CBS is supposedly in talks to add GARY COLE to the cast to make up for Harmon’s absence.

TAYLOR SWIFT has announced that the next re-recorded album she’s releasing will be “Red”, which came out originally in 2012.  It’s coming out on November 19th. It’ll have 30 songs on it, including one that’s 10 minutes long. She said, quote, “Musically and lyrically, ‘Red’ resembles a heartbroken person.  It was all over the place, a fractured mosaic of feelings that somehow all fit together in the end. “Happy, free, confused, lonely, devastated, euphoric, wild, and tortured by memories past.”

The Cardinals and Tigers get a series started up in Detroit tonight.  Johan Oviedo gets the start for the Cardinals.  First pitch is scheduled for 6:10PM.

Chicago Cubs shortstop Javier Baez was benched by manager David Ross after forgetting how many outs there were and getting doubled off first base in the fourth inning of Monday’s 4-0 loss to the Cleveland Indians. Baez said he was “surprised” when he was pulled but accepted the punishment. Baez, 28, was on first base with one out when Anthony Rizzo hit a fly ball to left field. The Cubs shortstop was rounding second and headed to third base as the left fielder caught the ball, easily getting it back into the infield to double off Baez. “I lost the outs,” Baez explained. “I [thought] the whole time that it was two outs. I ran like it was two outs.” After Baez came off the field, cameras caught him and Ross talking in the dugout before Baez headed toward the clubhouse. Sergio Alcantara took over for him at shortstop.

Last night the Tampa Bay Lightning and the New York Islanders played GAME 5 of their Stanley Cup Final Semi-Final round.  And….it was ugly.  Really ugly.  The Lightning scored 45 seconds into the game…and then scored seven more unanswered times after that.  Yeah, the final score was 8-0.  8….to zero.  The Lightning are now up 3-2 in the series and game 6 is tomorrow night.  Tonight the Canadiens and Golden Knights play game 5 with their series all tied up.  Puck drop is at 8PM.

Tonight it’s game 2 between the Suns and the Clippers.  The Suns beat the Clippers in Game 1.  Tip off is at 8PM.  The Hawks and Bucks get their series started tomorrow night.

As teams get eliminated from the playoffs we are starting to get a clear picture of who will be on TEAM USA basketball when the Olympics hit in a month.  And this is pretty incredible.  Here is apparently who has already committed to playing in the Olympics.  Dame Lillard, Devin Booker, James Harden, Bradley Beal, Jayson Tatum, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, and Bam Adebayo…Players you WON’T be seeing?  Steph Curry, Jimmy Butler, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis.

The College World Series is happening right now and its showcasing some pretty incredible young talent including the son of former MLBer Al Leiter.  Jack Leiter is already projected as a TOP 5 draft pick and he’s been DEALING for Vanderbilt.  And yesterday – even though Vandy lost – he still struck out 15.  Vanderbilt will play an elimination game against Stanford on Wednesday. NC State will play the winner of that game on Friday.

Minnesota Vikings rookie defensive tackle Jaylen Twyman was one of several victims wounded during a shooting in Washington, D.C., on Monday. Twyman was in a vehicle when he was shot four times. He’s expected to make a full recovery. His agent said that he was at the wrong place, wrong time.  They also added that people are thankful he’s OK. He will make a full recovery.  The 21-year-old suffered superficial exit wounds and will not need surgery.

Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Carl Nassib became the first active NFL player to come out as gay. Nassib, 28, made the announcement in an Instagram post. He posted: “What’s up people? I’m at my house here in Pennsylvania. I just want to take a quick moment to say that I’m gay. I’ve been meaning to do this for a while now, but I finally feel comfortable enough to get it off my chest. I really have the best life, I’ve got the best family, friends and job a guy could ask for. I’m a pretty private person so I hope you guys know that I’m really not doing this for attention. I just think that representation and visibility are so important.  I’m going to do my best and do my part to cultivate a culture that’s accepting, that’s compassionate and I’m going to start by donating $100,000 to the Trevor Project.”

Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark was arrested in Los Angeles after police saw a submachine gun in his car. Clark, 28, was pulled over for a vehicle violation south of downtown at about 9:20 p.m. Sunday. Officers noticed a bag with an Uzi sticking out in plain sight in the car. Clark was then arrested on suspicion of having a concealed firearm in a vehicle. He was booked into Los Angeles County jail and released Monday afternoon on $35,000 bond, according to the county sheriff’s jail inmate website.
