Brandon Boyd has shed some light on why Incubus decided to re-record their 2001 album Morning View: Boyd wrote on his Substack, “We decided that there was no way to eclipse our original recording… Instead our idea was to honor it and play it as we do today. After all we’ve been performing most of these songs live since they came out and we know them like the back our collective hand, but as a result of two decades of touring we have gently (and in some cases not so gently) allowed for these songs to morph and evolve.” – LINK

Sharon Osbourne used to turn a blind eye to Ozzy’s groupies back in the day.  She says, quote, “I was always like, ‘Wear a condom and never ask names or addresses.  You don’t want to know.’  When it gets to something more personal than that, then it’s a problem.  Then I’m not going to turn a blind eye” – LINK

One of Brad Pitt’s kids – Pax Jolie Pitt – is not a fan of him. In fact, on Father’s Day of 2020, he lashed out at Brad in a private Instagram post, calling him a, quote, “world class [A-hole].”  He was 16 years old at the time.  He’s 19 now. He added, quote, “You time and time again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person.  You have no consideration or empathy toward your 4 youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence,”vPax also told his dad that he, quote, “made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell.  You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want, but the truth will come to light someday. And he finished it off with, quote, “So, Happy Father’s Day, you [effing] awful human being!!!” The message was accompanied by a picture of Brad accepting his Oscar in 2020 – LINK

Wayne Brady got into a car accident in Malibu on Sunday night and then allegedly got into a fight with the other driver after a shouting match. The other guy hit Wayne’s car as he was driving along the Pacific Coast Highway and then things got PHYSICAL. Wayne called 911 after the fight, but the other guy took off.  Wayne didn’t need medical treatment or anything, but he was reportedly feeling “banged up and sore” yesterday – LINK

Adam Sandler’s “The Chanukah Song” was almost sung by Roseanne Barr because she was the host on “Saturday Night Live”.  Adam says, quote, “[Roseanne] was nice enough to say ‘No, let Adam do that, that’s his, he wrote it, that’s his song’.” He’s thankful the song is still a hit almost 30 years later.  Quote, “If it comes on the radio, and I hear it, I get excited, that’s still awesome.”

Jon Hamm has nipple rings in the new Season Five trailer for “Fargo” – but calm down, ladies, because those are FAKE nipples. Yes, his character, Sheriff Roy Tillman, has nipple rings. Jon says, quote, “I had to have some very blue latex put on my nipples, and then they cast a resoundingly lifelike pair, which they then pierced and placed over my own nipples.  The crew doesn’t get enough credit.” “Fargo” Season 5 premieres tonight at 10:00 p.m. on FX – LINK

Lance Lynn and the Cardinals plan to finalize a one-year contract as soon as Tuesday after the veteran right-hander and former Cardinal completes a physical in St. Louis, multiple sources told the Post-Dispatch. The contract, which includes a team option for 2025 and could be worth as much as $26 million total, guarantees Lynn $11 million. In exchange, the Cardinals want him to be the first addition of reliable, assured innings that have been lacking from recent seasons and undermined the Cardinals this past summer. Zach Wilson has not just lost his starting quarterback job with the New York Jets. He has been completely demoted

The Jets benched Wilson during their 32-6 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 11 on Sunday. After the game, head coach Robert Saleh would not commit to Wilson as the team’s starting quarterback for Week 12.

On Monday, the Jets announced that Tim Boyle would start at quarterback in Week 12 against the Dolphins. But that’s not all. The Jets are making Trevor Siemian their backup quarterback.

In the Super Bowl last season, when the Philadelphia Eagles scored to tie the game, everyone looked at the clock and knew what was coming next. Patrick Mahomes had too much time.

Mahomes led a clutch drive, just as everyone expected, the Kansas City Chiefs kicked a field goal and won the Super Bowl. Monday night reinforced that this isn’t last season anymore.

The Chiefs had two chances to win with a big drive after the Eagles took a late lead. Mahomes seems almost automatic in those situations. But the Chiefs couldn’t get it done. They went three-and-out the first time. On the second chance, Mahomes had the right read with less than two minutes left and unleashed a laser deep downfield to an open Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Valdes-Scantling dropped it. Then, on fourth-and-25, Justin Watson had a great pass on his hands and he couldn’t catch it. The Chiefs should have won but two bad red-zone turnovers cost them. Mahomes threw an interception into the end zone in the first half and Travis Kelce lost a fumble in the second half. You don’t expect two future Hall of Famers to make mistakes like that, but that helped keep the Eagles in the game. But they did and the Eagles won.
