A list of celebrities who’ve attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour includes Ethan HawkeReese Witherspoon, and Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler.  The tour is expected to be the first to ever gross over $1 billion.

Corey Taylor is already thinking about retiring from the road. He says he’s maybe got five more years in him to tour. “I’ve already thought about, maybe I’ve got another five years left of physically touring like this. I try to take care of myself. I work out when I can. The travel out here [in Europe] is exhausting; the food is horrible; so it makes it hard to do that. But as long as I can keep at it, that’s at least what I wanna do. So, yeah, it is what it is.”

The Struts have released a new single called “Too Good at Raising Hell.” Check out a lyric video on YouTube.

Adele is accusing concertgoers of ‘forgetting how to behave at shows’ saying on stage in Vegas over the weekend,  “Have you noticed how people are forgetting f****** show etiquette at the moment? People are throwing s*** on stage. Have you seen that?” The viral video of Adele continues with her joking, “I f****** dare you — I dare you to throw something at me. I’ll f****** kill you,” before ironically shooting a t-shirt cannon into the crowd. “Stop throwing things at the artist when you can shoot things to people … I’ve been seeing these people. These people lost it, can you imagine?” Adele’s comments come after multiple artists have been dealing with objects either being placed or thrown on stage… (LINK)

As mentioned, Adele’s remarks follow a recent string of on-stage incidents, one of which occurred at Bebe Rexha’s June 2023 concert in New York City, during which the “I’m Good” hitmaker was hit in the face by a phone thrown by a fan who was later charged with assault.

The following day, “Sweet But Psycho” singer Ava Max was slapped across the face by an audience member during her Los Angeles show. “He slapped me so hard that he scratched the inside of my eye. He’s never coming to a show again,” Max wrote on Twitter following the incident.

Axl Rose ended up on his keister last Friday when Gun N’ Roses performed at Hyde Park in London. It happened while walking backwards on the slippery stage and singing “Bad Obsession” off of 1991’s Use Your Illusion 1. After quickly getting up and finishing the song, he said, “I don’t want to jinx it, but hopefully I’ve got all the slip and sliding out of the way.” GnR’s next show is this Wednesday in Bern, Switzerland.

In other Guns-related news, Slash will regroup with his other band, Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, for a tour in January. He tells NME, “I don’t wanna divulge too much, but I’m also doing a really exciting TV series in England. It’s an adaptation of a great book. You’ll find out what it is when the press release comes out.” Slash, Kennedy and The Conspirators last toured in March of last year.

Ringo Starr has confirmed that the new Beatles song coming later this year uses authentic parts John Lennon and George Harrison recorded before their deaths. People were confused when Paul McCartney had previously announced the new tune, saying he was using AI to “extricate” Lennon’s vocals.  He clarified things by saying “We were able to take John’s voice and get it pure through this AI so that then we could mix the record as you would normally do — it gives you some sort of leeway.” Starr added that fake John Lennon vocals would “never” be used on any Beatles project.  He added “This was beautiful and it’s the final track you’ll ever hear with the four lads. And that’s a fact.” (LINK)

Facebook and Instagram’s parent company, Meta, is launching a new Twitter- like app called Threads this Thursday. Threads is linked to Instagram and you can use your IG credentials and handle to choose who you want to follow on the new app. Screenshots from users in Europe show that the app does look a lot like Twitter. If you’re blocked on Instagram, you’ll also be blocked on Threads.

Anheuser-Busch hopes their new partnership with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will make things right with Bud Light. The beer company debuted a new 15-second spot right in time for the 4th of July, and it is one of the beer brand’s first advertisements to be posted since they announced their partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney back in March.

You can relive some awesome HBO moments on Netflix.  Shows like Insecure, Ballers, Band of Brothers, and Six Feet Under are ready to view on the popular streaming service.  Max made a licensing agreement to make the shows available on Netflix.  True Blood has also been added to the Netflix library, but the show will only be available overseas.
