He went o for 2 with the judge. , Lee has been charged with 4 misdemeanors, including possession of a weapon with intent to assault. Lee has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Netflix won’t be airing that Dave Chappelle onstage attack. And it has nthing to do with the assault. “The streamer made it clear before the festival that the comedian’s four sold-out Hollywood Bowl shows were not being taped for a special. “Chappelle had his own cameras present to film the show — as comics often do when working out new material (as Chappelle was). Professionally shot footage of the attack likely does exist and could eventually see the light of day in some fashion, but it’s not part of Netflix’s plans.”
Chef Mario Batali has been acquitted of sexual misconduct charges in his criminal trial.Batali was on trial for indecent assault and battery charges in Boston for allegedly forcing himself on a woman in a restaurant. The case was decided Tuesday by a judge, not a jury The judge found Batali not guilty of both charges against him, ruling prosecutors could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt Batali kissed and groped a woman without her consent. Prosecutors charged Batali back in May 2019 over the alleged incident from March 2017, with Batali denying the accusations and later pleading not guilty. The criminal case, coupled with several other women coming forward in 2018 accusing Batali of sexual harassment and other misconduct, led to him getting axed from the show “The Chew,” being cut from his business group and surrendering all of his restaurants. While Batali scored a legal win in his criminal trial, the same woman is still suing him civilly for sexual assault.
San Mateo County’s DA won’t press charges against Mike Tyson after he allegedly punched a fellow passenger while onboard a flight on April 20th. The DA has dismissed everything in light of “the conduct of the victim leading up to the incident, the interaction between Mr. Tyson and the victim, as well as the requests of both the victim and Mr. Tyson.” Tyson’s alleged beatdown was preceded by passenger Melvin Townsend III harassing the boxing champ and allegedly throwing a water bottle at him. Townsend denies chucking the water bottle.
Pink Floyd will likely be the next big act to sell its music catalog. “Representatives for the band have reached out to potential buyers… The process began in the last few days, and it’s too early to know what the outcome will be. Representatives of the band won’t comment on the potential sale. The sale could net a massive payday for Pink Floyd. David Bowie’s estate and Sting, for example, have recently sold their catalogs for nine figures!
It’s been more than two decades since JAMES CROMWELL played the farmer in the “Babe” movies. And at 82 years of age, he’s still out there trying to save the animals . . . and the planet. Yesterday morning, he showed up at a Starbucks in Manhattan with some friends, to protest the fact that they charge more for vegan milk than they do for cow’s milk. Dairy farming takes a toll on the planet . . . not to mention the animals. So they think it’s immoral to upcharge for vegan options. James and another protester even glued their hands to the counter. When cops showed up they unstuck their hands so they wouldn’t get arrested. By that point I guess they figured they’d proved their point (LINK)

The Blues took on the Wild last night in Minnesota all tied up at 2 games a piece. Jordan Binnington got the start after picking up the Game 4 win. And Ryan O’Reilly started things off just 5 minutes in with a goal in the first. Unfortunately, that was followed up by 2 Wild goals to go up 2-1 at the end of the first. Brandon Saad tied things up late in the 2nd. And then the third period started and it was the Vladi Tarasenk-show. Hey oh! Dude scored 2 goals in just over a minute in a half to open the period to give the Blues a 4-2 lead…and then….as the period wrapped up…he scored an empty netter to give the Blues the 5-2 win. The Blues come back home to try and wrap things up on Thursday. Puck drop is scheduled for 8:30PM.
Elsewhere – the Hurricanes picked up a 5-1 win over the Bruins and they go up 3-2. The Leafs picked up a 4-3 win to go up 3-2 over the Lightning. And the Kings got the win in OT to go up 3-2 over Edmonton. Tonight, the Penguins could knock off the Rangers, the Caps and Panthers are tied up at 2 and have Game 5 tonight. And the Flames and Stars are also a 2-apiece and play game 5 tonight.
Last night, the Cardinals sent Packy Naughton to the mound after – I’m assuming – Adam Wainwright did not test negative for COVID. And, just like that Packy has his first last of the year. The Orioles beat the Cards 5-3 at Busch. There was a pretty cool thing that happened in the 6th. Harrison Bader came up to bad with the Cards down 5-0…and this happened. Tonight the two teams are at it again with first pitch scheduled for 6:45PM. Miles Mikolas gets the start.
Los Angeles Angels rookie left-hander Reid Detmers pitched a no-hitter in a 12-0 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays last night, becoming at age 22 years old, the youngest pitcher to throw one since Anibal Sanchez in 2006 for the Marlins. It was the majors’ second no-hitter this season. For the Angels, it is the 12th in franchise history.
The NBA playoffs continued with the Heat going up 3-2 over the 76ers. The Suns are up 3-2 against the Mavs as well. Tonight the Celtics and Bucks tip off tied at 2 and the Warriors have a chance to knock out the Grizzlies.

The NBA said in a statement that the legendary center died after a short illness. The Hall of Famer and eight-time All-Star had worked for the league as a global ambassador. Lanier played 14 seasons with the Pistons and Bucks. He is third on the Pistons’ career list in both points and rebounds. He was 73.

Former Jaguars kicker Josh Lambo filed a lawsuit against the team, alleging that former head coach Urban Meyer created a hostile work environment, and he is seeking more than $3.5 million in lost salary and additional damages. Lambo claims his performance suffered after he was verbally and physically abused by Meyer. It also claims that Meyer threatened to release Lambo after Lambo spoke up in his defense and that an employer striking an employee and threatening to do so again in retaliation is illegal in Florida. The lawsuit alleges that the physical and verbal abuse impacted Lambo’s ability to sleep and perform his job the way he had during his previous six seasons. After being cut, Lambo earned $14,000 as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers‘ practice squad last season.
The PGA Tour has denied releases to the players looking to play in the first event of the Saudi Arabian-financed Golf Invitational Series. The debut tournament, set to take place in London from June 9 to 11, coincides with the PGA Tour’s RBC Canadian Open that week. As a result, PGA Tour players would have to be granted a release from the tour to compete in the LIV tournament. The expectation was that the PGA Tour would grant releases to players, similar to ones it has given for other international events, but that won’t be the case, as the tour notified its players through a memo yesterday
