The 42-year-old right-hander held the Orioles, the fifth-highest scoring team in the majors, to two runs on seven hits and three walks in five innings. Aaron Rodgers underwent an MRI on Tuesday to determine the severity of the injury he suffered the night before, and the news was not good for the New York Jets quarterback. Rodgers suffered a torn Achilles against the Buffalo Bills, according to multiple reports. He will miss the remainder of the 2023 season. Here are some sad stats regarding Aaron and his New York Career: Aaron Rodgers’ 3 snaps played are the fewest by a Week 1 starting quarterback in a season since at least 2007. That distinction previously belonged to ’08 Tom Brady and ’21 Ryan Fitzpatrick (15 snaps).
The length of his career in New York so far: 75 seconds. So, Technically, since Rodgers only played 75 seconds for the Jets in 2023, he earned $1 million per second. That $75 million guaranteed on his contract has never looked so good.
Jets fans saw a total of 0 completed passes from the future hall-of-famer. And get this: Since Rodgers received the start on Monday, the win is officially attributed to him. He has now “won” his last 10 starts on Monday Night Football. And he will probably not win another — at least with the Jets.
Among the fans sitting at SoFi Stadium on Sunday to take in the Miami Dolphins game against the Los Angeles Chargers were a bunch of AI robots. Imagine for a moment finding your seat after a pre-game trip to the concession stand, only to find Johnny No. 5 sitting next to you. Apparently, the robots were part of a promotion for an upcoming movie called “The Creator:” The robots were not smiling but ya gotta see these things. They look so real in most cases and have chargers jerseys on. It’s a wild thing to see for sure and this is where our movie marketing is.
