So I’m sure you saw the Oprah interview with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. And what everyone is talking….the patio seats used for all 3 royal tushies have now sold out online thru Amazon, Target and Overstock. They go for about $554 a pair and feature acadia wood and plastic woven sides. They are part of the Burchett Outdoor Club collection designed by Christopher Knight who we all know as Peter Brady from the Brady Bunch. Apparently after tv and reality tv he is now a furniture designer.
Madonna did the Sex book years ago. Bella Thorne is doing Onlyfans and now here is the next step? Azealia Banks is a rapper. She got a boyfriend named Ryder Ripps. They apparently have sex out of wedlock. They have now sold a 24 minute and 22 second audio clip of them having the sex. Its been sold as a blockchain NFT for $18,270.80. The Non-Fungible Token (NFT) was created by the Mr. Ripps and posted on the Ethereum blockchain for 10.00 ETH. At the time of this writing, 1.00 ETH is worth about $1,827.08, which brings the total haul for the heavy breathing to $18,270.80. Someone named Rulton Fyder now owns it and can do whatever he wants with it. ANYTHING. This is what’s in the product description, “This sale is for the full rights and sole access to the first audio sex-tape to be minted on the blockchain. Recorded in February 2021 by Azealia Banks and boyfriend, Ryder Ripps, this sound based artwork is sure to titillate for its full 24:22 duration. Upon purchase, a WAV file will be delivered to the buyer in addition to a 1 of 1 signed LP vinyl record. Full ownership, including limitless distribution and display rights are included in this sale. Don’t miss out on this historic & sexy event.”
Disney+ has hit 100 million subscribers, 16 months after launching. They had estimated they would reach 60-90 million subscribers by the start of 2024. No doubt corona and “The Mandalorian” had a hand in that. They set a goal of 100+ new titles per year. Disney+ first launched in late 2019. For comparison, Disney+ is now a little less than halfway to catching Netflix, the industry leader, which has 203 million global subscribers.
The original “Avatar” may become the highest grossing movie in the world again, thanks to an upcoming re-release in China. China’s film bureau is putting it out on Friday, as part of a plan to re-open theaters with “historically popular” blockbusters. “Avengers: Endgame” is the current record-holder with $2.797 billion worldwide. But “Avatar” is RIGHT behind with $2.790 billion.
TRACY MORGAN is making a movie about jazz legend LOUIS ARMSTRONG. He’s starring in it AND financing it himself. People have seen a clip of it and say he is crushing it. Like real acting chops. Tracy actually played Louis briefly in an “SNL” skit with QUEEN LATIFAH back in 2003 . . . but that was for laughs.
There’s a new study out, which set out to determine America’s funniest stand-up comedians . . . using SCIENCE. Sort of. First, they gave 2,722 comedy fans a long list of comedians, and asked them to select their favorites. They used that feedback to cut the list to a Top 20, and then had 120 volunteers watch a stand-up special by each one. The participants’ audio responses were recorded and analyzed by a program that registered “laughter” at 60 decibels and higher. Then, they ranked the comedians by how much laughter they could generate per hour.

The Cardinals on Tuesday announced that they have struck a partnership with the Gateway Grizzlies — a member of the independent Frontier League — to host their alternate training site at GCS Credit Union Ballpark in Sauget. The move is a change — and one of much closer proximity — after the club used the facilities at Double-A Springfield for the 2020 alternate training site. The Grizzlies’ ballpark is about eight miles away from Busch Stadium, setting up a more cohesive relationship, the club hopes. The alternate training site, like in 2020, will be used as a training base for players on the taxi squad and who could be possible roster callups before the Minor Leagues’ seasons begin; last week, the Triple-A schedule was pushed back a month to begin in May. A maximum of 28 players will be permitted at the camp, which will be run by the staff of Triple-A Memphis.
Speaking of the Cardinals, yesterday they lost 5-3 against the Mets and today they take on the Nationals. Jack Flaherty goes against Max Scherzer. First pitch is at 12:05PM.
Miami Heat center Meyers Leonard will be away from the team indefinitely while the NBA conducts an investigation into his use of an anti-Semitic slur during a recent video game livestream. In a video that surfaced earlier Tuesday on social media, Leonard can be heard saying: “F—ing cowards; don’t f—ing snipe me, you f—ing k— b—-.” The team said in a statement… “The Miami Heat condemns the use of any form of hate speech. The words used by Meyers Leonard were wrong and we will not tolerate hateful language from anyone associated with our franchise. To hear it from a Miami Heat player is especially disappointing and hurtful to all those who work here, as well as the larger South Florida, Miami Heat and NBA communities.” Leonard apologized in an Instagram post Tuesday evening. “I am deeply sorry for using an anti-Semitic slur during a livestream yesterday. While I didn’t know what the word meant at the time, my ignorance about its history and how offensive it is to the Jewish community is absolutely not an excuse and I was just wrong.”
A signed ticket from Kobe Bryant’s epic last NBA game ever — when Mamba dropped 60 points — just sold for over $40K at auction! Bryant had one of the greatest final performances in sports history on April 13, 2016, a game that will never be forgotten. Kobe knocked down big shot after big shot and finished the game with 60 points … capping off his 20-year Hall of Fame career. A ticket from the game (section 302, Row 2W, Seat 2) was on the auction block at Goldin Auctions … and after 42 bids, it ultimately sold for $40,590. The identity of the buyer is not known.
Vanessa Bryant will be able to obtain the names of four sheriff’s deputies who allegedly shared “unauthorized” photos of Kobe Bryant’s crash site. Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna, died in a helicopter crash in the Los Angeles area in January 2020. An internal sheriff’s department report revealed that one sheriff took 25 to 100 photos of the crash site before sending the photos to multiple other deputies. Those photos were then shown to various civilians, including a patron and bartender at a local bar. U.S. District Judge John F. Walter ruled on Monday that the deputies’ names would no longer remain under seal. Vanessa Bryant can now add the deputies to her civil rights lawsuit against the county.
Paul Pierce, Chris Bosh, Chris Webber and Ben Wallace are among the finalists in the 2021 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame class. Pierce, a first-time nominee, spent 15 of his 19 NBA seasons with the Boston Celtics, winning a championship and Finals MVP in 2008. He’s a 10-time All-Star and second on the Celtics’ career scoring list. Bosh’s playing career ended unexpectedly in 2016 after 13 seasons due to a blood clot issue. Bosh, an 11-time All-Star, two-time NBA champion and Olympic gold medalist, officially retired in 2019 as a member of the Miami Heat. Webber, the No. 1 pick in 1993, was a five-time All-Star in his 17 NBA seasons and a primary part in Michigan’s “Fab Five,” whose legacy has reshaped college basketball for more than two decades. Wallace, one of the greatest defenders in NBA history, was a four-time All-Star. He won a championship in 2004 with the Detroit Pistons.
Hockey is BACK on ESPN! The network is believed to have reached a seven-year deal to become one of the league’s media partners starting next season. There was no confirmation from the NHL on an agreement that is expected to see ESPN get the rights to broadcast four Stanley Cup Finals between 2022 and 2028. Financial terms of the deal weren’t immediately available, nor was it clear which other media company would split the package with ESPN. NBC currently pays $200 million annually for exclusive U.S. media rights that expire after this season.
Despite Bryson DeChambeau’s win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational on Sunday and Dustin Johnson’s mediocre finish at the WGC-Workday Championship, Johnson still comes in as the favorite entering the 2021 Players Championship this week at TPC Sawgrass. There is good reason for that, of course. D.J. has been the best player in the world from tee to green so far in 2021. He’s also won three of his last 10 events. DeChambeau has won three of his last 15 tournaments. But DeChambeau is not even a solo second. He shares that mark with Rory McIlroy.
