Lori Loughlin traveled from Vancouver to L.A. Tuesday night to surrender to federal authorities in the college bribery scandal — which got her daughter, Olivia Jade, into USC. Lori was released on $1 million bond, just like her husband.  Unlike FELICITY HUFFMAN who already bonded out,Lori gets to keep her passport, because she’s working on a project in Canada. Olivia, who is 19 was on Rick Caruso‘s yacht in the Bahamas. Caruso was elected Chairman of USC’s Board of Trustees last year. Caruso’s daughter, Gianna, Olivia and several other friends were spending spring break in the area. Gianna and Olivia have been friends for a while.  Caruso, a billionaire who has major real estate holdings including The Grove in L.A., told TMZ, “My daughter and a group of students left for spring break prior to the government’s announcement yesterday. Once we became aware of the investigation, the young woman decided it would be in her best interests to return home.” Olivia is off the yacht. The Board will NOT decide the fate of Olivia and other students involved in the case. That decision is left squarely in the hands of the University’s President. By the way, Caruso came out strong Tuesday in the wake of the indictments, saying, “The charges filed today against employees of USC are disturbing and the alleged activity is absolutely wrong.  I am saddened that these people would abuse their positions of trust and, as the government has alleged, victimize USC in the process.  There is no option other than zero tolerance for this type of behavior.  As a result, USC has fired the alleged wrongdoers.” TMZ caught up with JOHN STAMOS and JODIE SWEETIN yesterday.  They both declined to comment. The guy who ran that scam actually made a video pitching a reality show about his work “life-coaching” families about getting their kids into college.  The video was made in 2010, a year before he allegedly started his racket.  He also posted some videoson YouTube in 2013.

Oscar winner Rami Malek will voice and executive produce a new drama podcast called Blackout which focuses on the aftermath of the power grid going down across the nation. He will play a small-town New Hampshire DJ who fights to protect his family and community amid the chaos.

Last month, MATTHEW PERRY tweeted that he got kicked out of therapy.  He never said why, but the not-always-reliable Radar Online claims it’s because he was TOO FOCUSED ON SEX. A so-called “source” says, quote, “Matthew got kicked out because he was too busy with models he’s texting through [a dating] app.  He wasn’t concentrating, which is worrying everyone. “They need him to be focused on sobriety, taking it seriously, not trying to hook up.”

LEONARDO DICAPRIO obviously isn’t interested in women his own age. He has NEVER been attached to a woman over the age of 25 . . . and someone made a handy graph to prove it.  Check it out . . .In 1999, when Leo was 24, he hooked up with 18-year-old GISELE BUNDCHEN.  They broke up five years later, in 2004 . . . when he was 29 and she was 23. In 2005, he started dating Bar Refaeli.  He was 30, she was 20.  They lasted until 2010, when he was 35 and she had reached his limit of 25. In 2011, he dated BLAKE LIVELY, who was 23 to his 36.  The following year he hooked up with Erin Heatherton, who was 22. From 2013 to 2014 he dated Toni Garnn.  By the time they broke up, she was 21 to his 39.  In 2015 he fooled around with some old hag named Kelly Rohrbach, who was 25.  He never had to buy her a 26th birthday present. In 2016 he hooked up with Nina Agdal, but he got rid of her after she turned 25 the following year. And now he’s with a young lady named Camila Morrone.  She’s 21. Leo turned 44 this past November.

It sounds wrong but it has been 10 years since Jamie Spears took over life for his daughter Britney. Funny thing is that as her conservator he has to approve legally of a marriage. And he aint having that. He doesn’t want anymore legal issues for her at this point.

A new study out of Australia has found that death metal music does not inspire more violence than other genres. According to research death metal fans are not “desensitized” to violent imagery portrayed in the songs. 32 death metal fans and 48 non-fans listened to metal or pop music while looking at some pretty unpleasant images. They found that “the fans showed the very same bias towards processing these violent images as those who were not fans of this music.” and “The dominant emotional response to this music is joy and empowerment.”

Nine Inch Nails main man Trent Reznor will induct The Cure into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Other presenters will include Queen’s Brian May for Def Leppard, David Byrne for Radiohead, Harry Styles for Stevie Nicks, Janelle Monáe for Janet Jackson, the Bangles’ Susanna Hoffs for the Zombies and Duran Duran’s John Taylorand Simon Le Bon for Roxy Music. Nine Inch Nails itself was nominated in 2016, but was not inducted and has not made the final cut for the past three years either. Reznor told Stereogum last year, “Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, who knows what that is . . . I honestly couldn’t give less of a s**t. I’m not gonna sleep any better. Included or not. With that being said, it’s always nice to feel you’ve been appreciated to some degree but it’s not on my list of things I have to achieve before I die.” The ceremony will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on March 29th. Details on performances have not been made public, but Def Leppard, Stevie Nicks, the Zombies and Roxy Music are all expected to perform. Radiohead’s Thom Yorke has indicated that he will not attend due to a prior commitment, although other members of the band may attend.

Jerry Seinfeld stars in Vampire Weekend’s new music video for “Sunflower.” Directed by Jonah Hill, the visual finds frontman Ezra Koenig and featured artist Steve Lacy stopping by landmarks in New York City’s Upper West Side–including Zabar’s restaurant and the Barney Greengrass deli. Along the way, they bump into Seinfeld and hip-hop artist Fab 5 Freddy. “Sunflower” is the latest taste of Vampire Weekend’s forthcoming Father of the Bride album, which is out May 3.

Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds has announced the lineup for his third annual LoveLoud Festival, taking place on June 29th at the USANA Amphitheater in West Valley City, Utah. Reynolds has tapped Kesha, Grouplove, K. Flay, Tegan And Sara, Laura Jane Grace, Martin Garrix, Daya and PVRIS to appear, with additional performers and speakers to be announced in the coming weeks. Reynolds founded the LoveLoud Foundation and festival in 2017 as a way to raise money and awareness for organizations that benefit the LGBTQ+ community, particularly those focused on mental health and suicide prevention. The festival is again aiming to raise $1 million this year, the same mark it hit in 2018, with proceeds benefiting the Trevor Project, GLAAD, the Human Rights Campaign and more. Reynolds told Billboard in June 2017 that he was inspired to create the festival after gay fans got the impression that he wouldn’t accept their sexual orientation because of his Mormon upbringing, which teaches that being gay is a sin. He explained, “It’s been a driving force for me to raise awareness and make a difference and not just sit back to let people feel that hurt.” The entire festival will be streamed live on AT&T’s social media channels. Tickets go on sale this Friday (March 15th) at noon ET.

You don’t mess with Texas.  FILTER found that out last week. They were supposed to play at the Speaking Rock Casino in El Paso last week.  But they got bounced at the last minute . . . basically because of their political beliefs.  Here’s what happened . . .The band shared a video of their sound check on Facebook, and singer RICHARD PATRICK captioned it, quote, “This is sound check!!  We’re Playing El Paso!!!  Get Here!!!  Later and it will he packed!!  A lot of Trump bashing!  That didn’t sit well with the venue.  Neither did an image of an upside down American flag that they were planning to use in a slideshow on the screen behind them. According to an Instagram post from the band, the general manager and several security guards stormed into the green room and told Filter’s tour manager that the show was off. The GM allegedly said, quote, “The First Amendment does not exist in this Casino.  Get the [eff] out.” In an interview with “Billboard” over the weekend, Patrick said the guy tried to claim they were getting bomb threats . . . but no law enforcement ever showed up, and he’s pretty sure the opening band STILL played that night.

Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel, the first female-led superhero picture from Marvel and Disney, has crossed the $500 million mark at the global box office, less than a week after it bowed.

We all know that the list of the top-grossing movies of all time is dominated by Marvel, “Star Wars”, and James Cameron . . . a.k.a. “Avatar” and “Titanic”. But when you adjust for inflation, the list changes a bit, and what movie  is number 1, with an adjusted gross of $1.82 BILLION.  Here are the top-grossing movies of all time in the U.S., in TODAY’S DOLLARS . . .

1.  “Gone with the Wind”, 1939 . . . 1.82 billion.  (Unadjusted Gross:  $198.7 million.)

2.  The original “Star Wars”, 1977 . . . $1.61 billion.  (Unadjusted Gross:  $461 million.)

3.  “The Sound of Music”, 1965 . . . $1.29 billion.  (Unadjusted Gross:  $159.3 million.)

4.  “E.T.”, 1982 . . . $1.28 billion.  (Unadjusted Gross:  $435.1 million.)

5.  “Titanic”, 1997 . . . $1.22 billion.  (Unadjusted Gross:  $659.4 million.)

6.  “The Ten Commandments”, 1956 . . . $1.18 billion.  (Unadjusted Gross:  $65.5 million.)

7.  “Jaws”, 1975 . . . $1.16 billion.  (Unadjusted Gross:  $260 million.)

8.  “Dr. Zhivago”, 1965 . . . $1.12 billion.  (Unadjusted Gross:  $111.7 million.)

9.  “The Exorcist”, 1973 . . . $998.7 million.  (Unadjusted Gross:  $232.9 million.)

10.  “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, 1937 . . . $984.3 million.  (Unadjusted Gross:  $184.9 million.)

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” just missed the Top 10.  It came in 11th . . . even though it’s the highest-grossing movie of all time in the U.S. when you DON’T adjust for inflation.

The New York Giants have traded their star receiver, 26-year-old Odell Beckham Jr.,to the Cleveland Browns. In return, the Giants are getting first- and second-round draft picks next month. The trade comes after Beckham got a five-year, $90 million contract extension last summer that made him the highest-paid receiver in the NFL. In another big trade report, yesterday morning the New York Jets agreed to a four-year, $52.5 million deal with former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell.

A single trade deadline, an All-Star Game election day and a million-dollar bonus for the Home Run Derby winner will be implemented in 2019 — while a three-batter minimum for pitchers and roster expansion will happen in 2020 — as part of a deal Major League Baseball and the MLB Players Association are set to announce Thursday.

Remember the story we had yesterday about the Utah Jazz fan who got into a verbal argument with Russell Westbrook?  Westbrook actually told him that he would “eff him and his wife up”.  Well, the Utah Jazz permanently banned the fan and the NBA fined Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook $25,000 yesterday. Westbrook said after the game that it was an emotional reaction to the fan telling him, “Get on your knees like you’re used to,” which he said he considered “completely disrespectful” and “racial.” The man denied saying anything inappropriate, claiming he told Westbrook, “Ice those knees up!” and that Westbrook answered it was heat on his knees, to which he shouted back, “You’re going to need it.” However, several Thunder reserve players backed Westbrook’s version of the story, and ESPN cited sources as saying that the Jazz gathered intelligence that also verified his version. Several Jazz players have also been publicly supportive of Westbrook. The Jazz said in permanently banning the fan, “There is no place in our game for personal attacks or disrespect.” Westbrook was fined for using profanity and threatening towards a fan.

Speaking of bans…. Knicks owner James Dolan said the fan who confronted him and told him to “sell the team” after New York’s loss to the Kings on Saturday has been banned from Madison Square Garden. Dolan is calling the confrontation an “ambush” and said the fan sold the video to TMZ. “The ban is only coming from the fact that we now have learned that he planned it.  They were stalking me. You can’t do that in Madison Square Garden. You are not allowed to stalk the owner and then confront him like that. Those particular guys had planned on making that video and selling it on TMZ.” The exchange began when the fan yelled at Dolan to “sell the team” as he was walking into the tunnel. The billionaire stopped and responded, “So you think I should sell the team?” and waved the fan over. “You want to not come to any more games?” When the fan protested by saying he was just stating his opinion, Dolan answered: “No, it’s not an opinion. And you know what, enjoy watching them on TV.”

Mizzou beat Georgia last night to kick off their SEC tournament play. Today they play Auburn at 2:30PM.  Tonight SLU takes on Richmond to open up their A-10 Tourney play.  Tip off is at 7PM. Denis Shapovalov is a rising star on the tennis scene. The 19-year-old plays a wild, free-wheeling style of tennis and dudes got a killer backhand.  He actually picked up a pretty big upset win yesterday.  And he celebrated…by rapping.  And…it was…awful.

Charley Casserly is a NFL Network analyst.  And he’s a pretty knowledgeable one.   Casserly was talking about the Dallas Cowboys and their offensive issues last year and had this to say.  Nothing really wrong with what he said…right?  Let’s look at the stats.  Cole Beasley for the Cowboys – last year – 65 receptions for 672 yards and 3 touchdowns.   Dez Bryant for the Cowboys last year….0 receptions for 0 yards and 0 touchdowns.  Dez Bryant didn’t even PLAY for the Cowboys last year.  Idiot.

You remember Vince Young right?  Former NFLer who shined in college at Texas and took them to the National Championship?  Yeah, you also remember those 2 DUIs he picked up?  Yeah, well he was recently fired from his part time gig with the Longhorns.  He was the development officer and football camp specialist.  When asked why he was let go, the school said QUOTE “Poor performance and frequent absences.”  They also went into a long speech about responsibilities and standards….basically said those DUIs done got him fired.

U.S. cyclist Kelly Catlin, who won a team silver medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, was found dead at her California home on Friday.  He dad said cause of death was a suicide. She was 23. Catlin was part of the U.S. women’s pursuit team that won silver in Rio.
