If you’re going to live your life in public, your past is going to come back and bite you on the behind every once in a while.  Just ask Khloe Kardashian. Some pictures resurfaced this week from Halloween 2003, when Khloe dressed as a pimp, and had four of her black girlfriends ON LEASHES. Sure, that was almost 19 years ago, but that would mean Khloe was around 19 years old, which is old enough to know better.  She’s 38 now. One of Khloe’s “hoes” was actress MEAGAN GOOD, and she addressed the controversy on Twitter. She said, quote, “That one time on Halloween when you were young and dumb and clearly didn’t think 15 years ahead lol smh.  Welp, mistakes were made.”

Ready to take a trip to Amsterdam? The first official trailer for a super highly anticipated film dropped today, featuring an above A-list cast and a teaser that promises “a lot of this actually happened.” The film is called Amsterdam and is described as an original crime epic about three close friends who find themselves at the center of one of the most shocking secret plots in American history. The three friends are Christian BaleMargot Robbie and John David Washington — a doctor, nurse and attorney. They star alongside Robert De NiroChris RockTaylor SwiftAnya Taylor-JoyMike MyersRami Malek, Zoe Saldaña, Timothy OlyphantMichael Shannon, and a ton of other faces you’ll remember.  The trailer is up on the blog right now. Speaking of trailers – the new trailer for Clerks 3 is on the blog.   So what is it about?  Well — A massive heart attack has Randal deciding to make a movie about his life working at the Quick Stop convenience store.  The movie is set for a September 13th release.  Apparently – the script was written by directed Kevin Smith after he suffered his OWN heart attack in February of 2018.

Brad Pitt has pissed off a lot of people, so he says, because he fails to recognize them … but Brad says he believes he suffers from a medical condition called face blindness. Brad has talked about this struggle in the past … he just can’t recognize people by looking at their faces — even family members. The condition is called prosopagnosia … in lay terms, face blindness. About 2 and a half percent of the population suffers from it in varying degrees. Some researchers have theorized the condition is brought on by underdevelopment in the womb. The 58-year-old actor says he’s never gone for an official diagnosis, but he’s confident he has the condition.

One of the most iconic Batsuits in history is hitting the auction block.  Of course, it’s iconic for a very bad reason. It’s the suit George Clooney wore in 1997’s “Batman & Robin”.  The one with the NIPPLES. It comes on a life-size poseable mannequin with a, quote, “hyper-realistic George Clooney head with prosthetic-grade false eyes.” It’ll be up for bids from July 22nd to the 23rd, with a starting bid of $40,000.

The hype around the Avatar sequel, The Way of Water, is well underway six months before its Christmas season release.  The film’s director, James Cameron, is already preparing for brushback at the movie’s three-hour run time.  In an interview, Cameron told Empire, “I don’t want anybody whining about length when they sit and binge-watch [television] for eight hours.” He added, “It’s like, give me a fu**ing break. I’ve watched my kids sit and do five one-hour episodes in a row. Here’s the big social paradigm shift that has to happen: it’s OK to get up and go pee.” Avatar: The Way of Water will be released on December 16th.

The Duffer Brothers are working on more “Stranger Things” content in addition to Season 5.  There’s also going to be a spin-off . . . and a STAGE PLAY.  The play will be based in the “world” of “Stranger Things”, but that’s pretty much all anyone has said about it. As for the spin-off, it’s going to be, quote, “1,000% different from the show.” One of the Duffers said, quote, “I’ve read these rumors that there’s gonna be an Eleven spinoff, that there’s going to be a Steve and Dustin spinoff, or that it’s another number.

That’s not interesting to me because we’ve done all that.  We’ve spent I don’t know how many hours exploring all of that.  So it’s very different.” Their other plans include a TV version of a 1984 novel written by Stephen King.

Kanye West will NOT be undersold.  An Instagram account called “Rap Thoughts Daily” was posting what it thought were the performance fees of various rappers.  And they said Kanye’s was $1 million.  Kanye himself direct-messaged them and said, quote, “Please change this.  My performance fee is $8 million.” They corrected the error in the post’s comments.

A hand-painted mandolin that Janis Joplin once owned then gifted to Jimi Hendrix just sold for $281,250 at an auction after 29 bids. It’s painted with flowers, their names, and the phrases, “love thy neighbor” and “flowers, beads, bangles forever”. This was the first time it ever hit the auction block.  A private collector acquired it from the Memphis Music Hall of Fame 20 years ago.

Someone got a protection order against RICKY MARTIN, but he says he did nothing wrong.  The details are a little fuzzy, but here’s what we know: According to a newspaper in Puerto Rico, the accuser claims he was in a relationship with Ricky for seven months, but they had a messy breakup.  Since then, Ricky has supposedly been harassing the guy, and he “fears for his safety.” Ricky issued a statement on Sunday, saying the protection order is, quote, “based on completely false allegations.”  But he wouldn’t say anything else about them. However, Ricky’s brother Eric said the accuser is an estranged nephew with mental health problems.

Neal Schon says he and Steve Perry are slowly repairing their friendship.  In an interview, Schon said he and Perry are “talking and getting to know each other again – though not trying to get together musically again“. Perry hasn’t been part of Journey since 1998, but did reunite with the band for their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2017.  Meanwhile, Journey is set to release its first new album in 11 years, Freedom, on Friday.

Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, was sentenced to probation and home detention on Wednesday.  In 2020, Petty pled guilty to federal charges of failing to register as a sex offender after he and Minaj moved to California.  While he could have faced ten years in prison, his sentence consists of one year of home confinement, three years probation, and a $55,000 fine.   Petty was convicted for the attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl in 1995.

A jury has found Eric Holder Jr. guilty on one count of first-degree murder in the shooting of Nipsey Hussle. Holder killed Hussle on March 31, 2019, at Nipsey’s Clothing Store in Los Angeles.  Holder could face life in prison for his crime. A sentencing date has yet to be determined.

During a recent conversation, Ice Cube called Lil Wayne the best rapper of all time. In an appearance with the On The Guest podcast, Cube was asked, beside him, who is the best rapper ever? ((audio)) He continued, “So I just think, besides myself. I’ve done so much for the culture, but uh, yeah, yeah he’s dope.”

Beyoncé is making a statement with her new album, and not just through the music.  Sources say she’s been really careful about who she works with, in the wake of the #MeToo movement. She even refused to collaborate with two high-profile artists because they’re facing sexual misconduct allegations. She’s particularly sensitive about it because a producer she worked with on her 2013 hit “Drunk In Love” was arrested two years ago and charged with 15 counts of sexual assault. He denies it, but it was still, quote, “devastating” to Beyoncé when she found out.  A source says she’s running #MeToo checks on all producers and artists before working with them. The new album comes out July 29th.

Chris Brown wants you to say something nice about him.  After a top-five chart debut for his Breezy album, Brown is blaming the media for not talking about his music but always talking about his misgivings.  Brown posted on Instagram, “July 8th [Breezy] deluxe album, not that [it] matters… SEEMS LIKE YALL ONLY INVEST IN THE NEGATIVE STORIES ABOUT ME. CHRIS GETS IN TROUBLE (THE WHOLE WORLD IS ON it). Chris drops album…[cricket emojis].” Breezy moved 72,000 album-equivalent units in its first week out. The album rose to number four on the Billboard 200 chart.

Elon Musk reportedly had twins on the low last year with a woman who is running one of his companies … making him a father to at least 9 kids. Elon had twins with Shivon Zilis — a top executive at Neuralink, the brain chip company Musk co-founded. The twins were born in November, and the timing is interesting … because only a few weeks later in December, Elon and Grimes welcomed their second baby via surrogate. No word on the twins’ names, but court docs were reportedly filed earlier this year by Elon and Shivon requesting the children’s names be changed to include Zilis as a middle name, and Musk as the last. A judge already approved the request. Elon and Shivon met back in 2015, and she’s been rising through the ranks at his companies … including a stop at Tesla before Neuralink. There’s speculation Elon might pick her to run Twitter if his deal to buy the social media giant eventually goes through.

Bam Margera fell off the wagon after bouncing from a treatment center. A video shows him partying with a group of men while the police and his family were desperately looking for him. After Bam went missing from a Florida rehab facility on June 25th, he met up with some people at a sports bar in Pompano Beach and had one too many drinks. One of the people who was hanging with Bam said that he then asked to be taken to a hospital for an injured wrist. The person says he drove Bam to the hospital and took a pic of him on a hospital bed on Bam’s orders. Bam left the hospital and went to a strip club. Bam told people around him to keep the dancers away from him because he loves his wife and kid. Video shows Bam passing out surrounded by a group of men before becoming conscious again.  A couple of hours later, Bam was picked up by another friend. Bam is now back in rehab after fleeing the facility twice in two weeks and hired a lawyer amid his custody woes with estranged wife.

And – speaking of James Cameron and him saying that the new Avatar movie is over 3 hours long – it had me find a really interesting list…It’s a list of the best movies that are over 3 hours long.  Some of these are old classics and some are movies you’ve never heard of – but I pulled a good chunk of them and want to see how many you can get…

The Carolina Panthers are adding a new quarterback to their depth chart, as they are sending a fifth-round pick to the Cleveland Browns for Baker Mayfield.  The Panthers and Browns will also split the money Mayfield is owed in 2022.

Money was always an issue in trade negotiations, as Mayfield was due a fully guaranteed $18.85 million in the final year of his rookie deal, the Browns will pay Mayfield $10.5 million in 2022 while the Panthers will pay about $5 million. Mayfield also reportedly agreed to take about a $3.5 million pay cut to get out of there.

The former No. 1 overall pick has been searching for a change of scenery ever since the Browns won the Deshaun Watson sweepstakes. The Panthers were long considered to be one of the favorites to land Mayfield, and they have swung a deal for him just weeks before training camp. Interestingly enough, Carolina opens the season against Cleveland in Charlotte.

A CBS Sports insider said just last month that the Panthers were operating with urgency to get a deal done for Mayfield. He threw for 3,010 yards, 17 touchdowns and 13 interceptions in 14 games played last year for the Browns, going 6-8 as the starter while fighting through multiple injuries.

Mayfield joins Sam Darnold, who was acquired via trade last offseason from the New York Jets, Matt Corral out of Ole Miss in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, and have former XFL standout P.J. Walker on a one-year deal.

Bryan Marchment — a former NHL defenseman and the father of current Florida Panthers forward Mason Marchment  has passed away, the league announced on Wednesday.

He was 53 years old. No cause of death has been revealed at this time.

“The National Hockey League mourns the passing of San Jose Sharks scout and former NHL player Bryan Marchment,” the league said in a statement. The defenseman played 17 total seasons in the NHL … including stops with the Oilers, Sharks, Whalers, Blackhawks, Lightning, Avalanche, Maple Leafs and Flames.

After retiring from the Flames in 2006, Bryan became a scout for the Sharks in 2007 and was attending the NHL’s draft when he unexpectedly passed away, according to the league.

Aaron Rodgers‘ body is no longer tattoo-free … the quarterback just revealed he got ink put on him for the first time in his life.

The Green Bay Packers star shared photos of the new tat on Wednesday afternoon … revealing his left forearm now features an eyeball, astrology signs, lions and much more.

Rodgers declined to get into the specifics of what the ink meant to him … but he did say the artwork was both “deep and meaningful.” Several of Rodgers’ Packers teammates are already weighing in on the new ink … with his good buddy David Bakhtiari writing in a comment on the pics, “I hope this is a henna tattoo.”

  • Demaryius Thomas suffered from the degenerative brain disease CTE.
  • The former NFL player died last December.
  • Scientists from Boston University studied Thomas’ brain and discovered the condition usually caused by repeated hits to the head.
  • Ann McKee said Thomas likely died from a seizure, a condition usually not associated with CTE.
  • McKee noted, “CTE itself does not cause death. You don’t die from CTE. What CTE does is it changes your behavior and your personality.”
