The town of Montecito, California is under an evacuation order due to massive rain and flooding.  Residents include Harry and Meghan, Oprah, Rob Lowe, Adam Levine, Gwyneth Paltrow, and George Lucas.   Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi live there, too.   Ellen posted this video, standing next to what is usually a dry creek bed.  Now it’s a rushing river.

Does this count as irony?  Paul McCartney was almost hit by a car . . . in the crosswalk from the “Abbey Road” album cover. Paul was recreating that famous walk for his daughter Mary . . . who made a documentary about Abbey Road studios called “If These Walls Could Sing”. She says, quote, “[It] was so funny.  As we were leaving [the studio], I said, ‘I’ll film you [crossing the street],’ and he went over and this car totally didn’t stop for him!” (People) Ozzy Osbourne is “deeply nervous” about returning to reality TV since doing “The Osbournes” was bad for his family.  It aired on MTV from 2002 to 2005. In case you missed it, Ozzy has a new BBC show coming out called “Home to Roost” that’ll document his and Sharon’s move from L.A. back to England. In an interview with The Mirror, he said, quote, “I don’t know how the Kardashians have done it for so long, it sent us crazy at the end . . . I’m not sorry I did it, but after three or four years I said, ‘Do you know what, we’re going to lose somebody because it is getting too crazy.’  “The kids paid for it.  They all ended up doing drugs . . . I was messed up and Sharon got cancer.” (Loudwire)

Bryan Cranston lost his virginity in an interesting, but not necessarily romantic, way.  He was 16, and she was an Austrian prostitute. On the podcast “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend”, Bryan said he was 16 and traveling with a bunch of friends, and they ended up at a brothel. Quote, “I sat down in the foyer, and then this woman came up to me.  I went, ‘Oh my God.  Oh my God.  Oh my God.  Is this happening?  This is happening.  Oh my God.  Oh my God.  Oh my God.’ “And we go into this room.  There’s a single bed.  There’s a sink and a trash can.  That’s it.” So how was it?  He said, quote, “I was so nervous that I didn’t really feel anything.  I was just, my brain was on fire . . “It was a traumatic and a great, exhilarating, memorable experience, man.  It was a seminal moment in a person’s life when they lose their virginity.”  (Listen to his story here.)

Anna Sorokin . . . better known as Anna Delvey . . . is developing a reality TV project.  She’s the one Julia Garner portrayed in “Inventing Anna”. Her lawyer said the project will focus on her art and design with the hope that she can break away from her public persona as a con artist.  Anna has also discussed wanting to do a clothing line and fragrance.  He said, quote, “She is really a lot more than the worst thing that she’s alleged to have ever done.  She is a great client.  She’s very pleasant and funny and people think that they know her because they’re thinking about the [Julia] character.” Anna is currently on house arrest in the East Village in New York.  Her lawyer is working on getting her conviction for defrauding and deceiving friends and business out of more than $200,000 overturned so she can stay in the U.S. (Page Six)

Prince Harry’s new memoir Spare is currently No 1 on the UK Amazon bestseller charts and was among the biggest pre-order titles ahead of its official release on Tuesday. Spare was always expected to be a big release. Still, with recent publicity around the book, from leaks and interview teasers in advance, preorders are enormous and growing with the massive press coverage. The royal book has consistently been on the Amazon book bestsellers list since its publication date was announced last year. Spare held the No. 1 spot on Amazon in the United States and Britain on Friday and at Barnes & Noble. It currently occupies the No 1 slot in the overall bestsellers chart. James Daunt, who heads Barnes & Noble and the British bookstore chain Waterstones, said that even the negative leaks have been driving up customer interest in Spare. He expects to see “the most extraordinary” first-day and first-week sales.

Jennifer Lawrence said the one celebrity she would be starstruck to meet would be . . . Jessica Simpson.

In an interview with W Magazine, she also said, quote, “To me, the biggest celebrities in the world are, like, Pete Davidson . . . Or when Ariana Grande was in my last film, ‘Don’t Look Up’, I was photographed with her and I fully look like a radio contest winner.”  (Billboard(her starstruck comments are from 0:00 to 0:26.)

M3GAN could give be even more vicious. The film’s screenwriter, Akela Cooper, told the LA Times about a potential unrated cut that might be released. Cooper said, “There should be an unrated version at some point. I heard it is on the books. But yes, it was way gorier. Her body count in the script was higher than in the movie.” M3GAN is currently rated PG-13.

Don Cheadle didn’t have much decision-making time when it came to whether to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In a video looking back at his career with GQ, Cheadle, 58, revealed that when the superhero franchise first offered him an in as War Machine, aka James “Rhodey” Rhodes, in 2010’s Iron Man 2 he was at his child’s birthday party. The studio gave him two hours to decide whether to sign on for the years-long commitment. “I was at my kid’s laser tag birthday party,” Cheadle recalled. “They called me and said, ‘This is what’s happening and we’re giving you the offer. If you don’t say yes then we’re going to the next person. This is going to happen very fast.’ ” “So they said, ‘Why don’t you take an hour and decide if you want to do it,’ ” the actor recalled. “It was a six-movie deal! In an hour I have to decide?” “They’re like, ‘It’s going to be these Avengers, it’s gonna be these many Iron Mans, this is what it is, so you kind of have to say yes or no if you’re in or you’re out,’ ” Cheadle continued, noting that the studio reps said they “don’t know any of that” when it came to the character’s storyline at the time (LINK)

Former adult film star Ron Jeremy reportedly won’t stand trial for over 30 counts of sexual assault as its believed he suffers from dementia. Medical teams from both the defense and prosecutors examined Jeremy and say he isn’t faking his “severe dementia”. He’ll likely be declared incompetent to stand trial on January 17th and be sent to a state-run hospital. The DA wants to keep the case open in case Jeremy’s condition were to improve.

The Offspring have shared a video of themselves in the recording studio, captioning it with “in 2023 we’ll spend a lot more time right here.” The band’s working on a follow-up to 2021’s ‘Let The Bad Times Roll’ and will also appear at the Innings Festival in Arizona next month.

Radiohead drummer Phil Selway says his band will “get together” in 2023. The band’s last studio album, ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’, dropped in 2016. Selway told ‘Spin’ “We’re going to get together at the start of the year and I’m sure we’re going to start looking at other ideas for what comes next. ‘Hail To The Thief’ — it’s a long time since that record, isn’t it?” It’s been twenty years since ‘Hail To The Thief’ was released. Radiohead band could be planning a disc of rarities to celebrate like they did with 2021’s ‘Kid Amnesia’ which highlighted their groundbreaking ‘Kid A’ and ‘Amnesiac’ records.

Former Journey vocalist Steve Perry has dropped his lawsuit against his band over the trademarking of 20 tunes. Guitarist Neal Schon revealed he got a letter in the mail from the US Patent and Trademark office saying Perry canceled his petition without plans to ever relaunch his claims. That’s one less legal battle Schon has to worry about; he’s still fighting with keyboardist Jonathan Cain over a band credit card.  Both members of Journey are accusing each other and their wives of living large on the band’s dime. The band starts touring in two weeks.  Original keyboardist Gregg Rolie will be on the tour but Schon didn’t explain what that means for Cain.

After years of #SixSeasonsAndAMovie seeming more like a myth and less like a prophecy, we finally got confirmation that there would in fact be a Community movie in the works. And now it seems like they are actually about to film it. Joel McHale was on Kimmel and said “ “We are, we’re making the Community movie in June, so… “ the only real details he divulged was when he said, “I can say Ken Jeong’s gonna be in it.” Community aired from 2009 to 2015 and starred Gillian Jacobs, Alison Brie, Danny Pudi, Jim Rash, Donald Glover, and Yvette Nicole Brown. While not all of the cast will be involved in the upcoming movie, it seems like they are doing their best to get everyone back together….besides Chevy Chase. (Via Collider)

Sometimes it takes forever to film a TV or movie scene, because the actors can’t keep a straight face.

Here are some examples:

  1. “Seinfeld”:  Jerry is interrogated by a “library cop” over an unreturned book.  Jerry couldn’t stop laughing because he found the concept “so ridiculous.”
  1. “This Is 40”:  Melissa McCarthy’s character berates and threatens Leslie MannPaul Rudd, and Joanne Baron.  Leslie and Paul could not keep a straight face as Melissa hurled nasty insults at them.
  1. “Parks and Recreation”:  When Chris Pratt lists off all his medical problems at the doctor’s office.  Aubrey Plaza couldn’t keep it together . . . particularly when Pratt says he sometimes wipes a hundred times and there’s “still poop.”
  1. “Stranger Things”:  Hopper lies about there being something wrong with Mike’s grandma, just because he wants to get him away from Eleven.  David Harbour busted up every time he said the word “grandma”.
  1. “The Usual Suspects”:  The lineup scene.  Kevin Pollak says they had trouble getting through it . . . in part because Benicio del Toro farted 12 takes in a row.
  1. “Friends”:  Pivot!  Ross, Rachel and Chandler are trying to get a massive couch around the corner of a stairway . . . and Ross keeps yelling, “Pivot!”
  1. “Friends”:  Ross plays the bagpipes, and Phoebe tries to sing along.
