This may be one of the weirdest fueds we’ve heard in a long time.  And it’s not even a fued — its grown men fighting on Twitter.  Stephen King, the legendary horror novelist, shared on Twitter that when he went to see Transformers in 2007 he left midway through the action film, the first in the franchise. “I have walked out of only one movie as an adult: TRANSFORMERS. Would like to know what other movies people have walked out on,” wrote King. He made the revelation while reacting to fellow author Linwood Barclay admitting he recently walked out of Jurassic World Dominion. One fan confessed, “I’m so sorry in advance… I walked out of the Mist in 2007. I was 15 years old, I got scared I went because I was a hardcore fan of your books, but I couldn’t stay it was too much,” the fan tweeted to King. What movie have you walked out of?

Yesterday, a judge sentenced R. Kelly to 30 years in prison for his conviction on racketeering and sex trafficking charges.  A jury in New York found Kelly guilty in September 2021. Kelly has been in jail since 2019.  In an upcoming trial, he’s facing child pornography and obstruction of justice charges in Chicago. Proceedings are scheduled to begin on August 15th.

Reports says blink-182 drummer Travis Barker was rushed to the hospital Tuesday afternoon due to pancreatitis. Doctors believe it may have been triggered by a colonoscopy. Pancreatitis is inflammation of the pancreas and can cause nausea, intense stomach pain, and vomiting. It’s not clear the exact day that Barker had his colonoscopy but it was “recent”. Barker had tweeted, “God save me” at some point during the ordeal. Barker’s 16-year-old daughter, Alabama, posted on her Instagram Story, “Please send your prayers.”

Spotify is quietly testing out a new Karaoke feature that lets you sing along . . . and rates your vocal performance. Spotify hasn’t even announced it yet, so not everyone has it.  Those who do will see a “sing” button in the corner of a song’s icon.  If you push it, it cuts the vocals so only the music is playing, allowing you to sing along. At the end of the song, you get an accuracy score. If you don’t have this feature, you can try updating that app.  If you still don’t have it . . . well, you’ll just have to hope they roll it out for everyone.

MACHINE GUN KELLY had an interesting time in New York City on Tuesday.  First, he performed at Madison Square Garden, where he damn-near attacked a member of his crew. Toward the end of the show, MGK walked offstage and looked like he was headed right for the guy . . . but another crew member held him back.  Then on his way back to the stage, he angrily smashed a guitar.  After the show, Kelly and some friends went to a restaurant called Catch . . . where he decided to put on an impromptu show.  But when he got up in front of the crowd, he said, quote, “I don’t give [an eff], bro.  I don’t give a [crap].”  Then he smashed a champagne glass against his face and started bleeding from the forehead.  Then he performed “My Ex’s Best Friend” with blood dripping down his face.  He posted videos of the chaos on his Instagram Story yesterday morning. (VIDEO)

Here is today’s BURTON STORY OF THE WEEK…. CARA DELEVINGNE is SELENA GOMEZ’s love interest on the second season of “Only Murders in the Building” and let’s just say she had a lot of fun with it. During an appearance on the “E! News” web series “While You Were Streaming”, Cara said, quote, “It was just fun, would anyone in the world not like to kiss Selena? . . . “It’s just one of those things, especially when you know someone so well, it’s the comfortability and you kind of have fun with it.” Cara said Selena knew how much getting to play a queer role meant to her, so to be able to represent the community was exciting.  The two are such BFFs in real life that they even have matching tattoos.

CAMERON DIAZ is coming out of retirement, and we have TOM BRADY to thank for it.

Cameron will star an action-comedy with JAMIE FOXX called “Back in Action”. Jamie announced the movie by posting audio of a phone conversation where he’s trying to reassure Cameron about her decision to come back . . . and brings in Brady to help her out. Brady tells her, quote, “I was talking to Jamie, and he said you needed a few tips on how to unretire.  And I am relatively successful at unretiring.”  Cameron’s last movie was 2014’s “Annie”, with Jamie.  They also appeared together in “Any Given Sunday”.

The co-creator of “Friends”MARTA KAUFFMAN, is finally ready to admit what everyone else saw . . . a lack of diversity.  And she’s doing so with a pledge of $4 million to her alma mater, Brandeis University in Massachusetts. Quote, “I’ve learned a lot in the last 20 years.  Admitting and accepting guilt is not easy.  It’s painful looking at yourself in the mirror.  I’m embarrassed that I didn’t know better 25 years ago.”   So her way of redeeming herself is by funding a scholar in the university’s African and African American studies department, which is one of the oldest in the country.

A James Bond producer has revealed that it will be “at least two years“ before the next 007 movie begins filming and that the task of finding an actor to replace Daniel Craig (LINK) hasn’t begun “because it’s a reinvention of Bond.”  Do they have anyone in mind?  Well – the producer wouldn’t give any hints on who would play Bond next but did offer an update on the decision-making process. “Nobody’s in the running,” she disclosed. “We’re working out where to go with him, we’re talking that through. There isn’t a script and we can’t come up with one until we decide how we’re going to approach the next film because, really, it’s a reinvention of Bond. We’re reinventing who he is and that takes time. I’d say that filming is at least two years away.”

JoJo Siwa and Jesse Tyler Ferguson are set to have guest roles in Season 3 of “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.” A trailer for the third season, which dropped yesterday, shows the gang heading to Camp Shallow Blue for two weeks, with a high-stakes production of “Frozen” teased for the end of the camp.  JoJo, 19, who was a runner-up (LINK) in “Dancing With the Stars” Season 30, will play Madison, a Camp Shallow Lake alum. Ferguson, 46, who starred in “Modern Family”, will play Marvin, an old family friend of Olivia Rodrigo’s character Nini.

Happy Throwback Thursday to the original Eddie Munster, Butch Patrick.  Rob Zombie is including him in his new “Munsters” movie coming out later this year.  Butch will play Tin Can Man, which was Eddie’s science project back in a 1965 TV episode.

Clearly four broken ribs doesn’t keep Tommy Lee off the drum kit.  He was back on stage in Charlotte, North Carolina the night before last.  By the way, here’s the kick off to that show.  Listen to how Motley Crue begins their shows, with Breaking News that features the city they’re in.

“Weird Al” Yankovic (LINK) brought out The Presidents of the United States of America frontman Chris Ballew on Tuesday night in Seattle to perform the breakout 1996 hit, “Peaches.” Yankovic kicked off the cover and then was joined on stage. The seated Yankovic pretended to be surprised (it’s a show), then the pair launched into the song’s “millions of peaches” sing-along refrain. They jumped together in time, swayed with their hands up, and even threw in some high-kick heroics to cap the performance.

The Miami Marlins pitcher Sandy Alcantara went all the way. He went the distance and beat the Cardinals 4-3 with a two-run homer in the ninth inning last night. The Cards play again tomorrow July 1st in Philadelphia. Game starts at 5:05 central.

Shaquille O’Neal never seems to run out of criticisms for players in the modern NBA, and one of the things that bothers the Hall of Famer is how high salaries have gotten. Kevin Durant does not think Shaq should be concerning himself with how much money someone else makes.

Shaq admitted this week that him and some other former NBA stars get “petty” when they see what today’s players make. He mentioned on his podcast how Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert is currently playing under a $200 million-plus contract.

Durant found the remark to be hypocritical. He responded on Twitter by pointing out how much money Shaq has made. Shaq fired back by sarcastically saying he is “broke.” He also thanked K.D. for complimenting him

The counterargument would be that O’Neal has made a lot of money through smart investments and his post-playing career. Shaq did earn nearly $300 million (LINK) during his NBA career, but that was over 19 seasons. His highest salary for an individual year was $27 million in his final season with the Los Angeles Lakers. For comparison, Gobert will make an average of around $42 million per year over the next four seasons.

Shaq also does not respect Gobert’s game (LINK). It drives him nuts that the Jazz star is considered one of the best big men in the NBA.

Durant was annoyed with Charles Barkley over some similar remarks (LINK) recently. The Brooklyn Nets star clearly does not think rich former players should be talking about how much rich current players make.

Yep, the Avalanche has dented the Stanley Cup! Shortly after securing the Stanley Cup on Sunday, Colorado Avalanche players dented the most iconic trophy in pro sports. As we know, after the St Louis Blues won the cup it went all around the nation with the players and found itself in some pretty intense situations…and lakes so we assume its probably been dropped dozens of times BUT the Avs probably did it in record time.

NBA star Miles Bridges was arrested for felony domestic violence in Los Angeles on Wednesday, TMZ Sports has learned. The 24-year-old forward — who most recently played for the Charlotte Hornets — turned himself into a local jail regarding an alleged physical altercation that happened on Tuesday. His bail was set at $130k … and he’s since been released.

Scary moment during the Mets vs. Astros game Wednesday … Houston star Yordan Alvarez collided with his teammate in the outfield, and the crash was so violent — the slugger had to be carted off the field.

The collision between Alvarez and shortstop Jeremy Pena happened in the bottom of the 8th inning … when Pena was trying to snag a pop-up in shallow left field.

He, though, didn’t see Alvarez — who was also charging in to catch the ball — and the two huge athletes slammed into each other.

Pena’s arm hit Alvarez square in the face … while Alvarez’s elbow appeared to run right into Pena’s head.

The two crumpled to the ground and stayed down on the field for several minutes … before they each got medical attention from the Astros’ trainers.

Eventually, Yordan was carted off the field, while Jeremy tried to give it a go but was ultimately forced to leave the game.

Unclear if either guy suffered injuries in the collision — we’re still awaiting word from Houston.

Tyson Fury (LINK) threw a verbal jab at “Game of Thrones” star Hafthor Bjornsson on Wednesday calling for a fight and  — the actor-turned-boxer accepted a fight!!! Who is Hafthor Bjornsson you ask? That’s The Mountain from Game Of Thrones. The last one to play him and definitely the scariest one.  Fury’s wrote, “I wonder if Thor Bjornsson could take a crashing right hand to that big jaw,” adding, “Who would have Thor’s hammer? Would this mountain be too big to climb?”  It didn’t take long for Thor — a former World’s Strongest Man — to see the comments … and in a shirtless video, he fired back at Fury — accepting a fight if the 33-year-old heavyweight champ was offering one saying “I’m 100% up for war,” “Let’s do this.”

Now… even though Bjornsson is an actor and a former strongman, he’s no stranger to the boxing ring. Since 2021, Bjornsson has boxed in 4 professional fights — winning two bouts while the others ended up in a draw.
