I may be performing with a sling for a while…but we’re coming for you Europe, USA, and the rest of the world.” Disturbed will play a Point Big Summer Show on August 29th at Hollywood Casino Amp.

He was super bummed about me asking if I could put my fingers in Megan Fox’s mouth and I knew she was right there and he just went ballistic. He kind of went maniac mode.”

Danny Masterson,  best known as Steven Hyde in That ’70s Show was found guilty yesterday of forcible rape against two women.  The jury deadlocked on a third count.  He’s facing 30 years to life in prison. Masterson was accused of raping the three women at his L.A. home between 2001 and 2003, when he was starring on “That ’70s Show”. Masterson has denied all the charges.  He was first tried last year, but the jury deadlocked on all three counts. Ryan Gosling says people complaining about his casting as Ken in “Barbie” never actually cared about the character and are being hypocritical.  He says there are many other Kens to play with, if they don’t like his.

Big news yesterday as it seems Kim Cattrall will be making a cameo in the Sex and the City spin off, ‘And Just Like That’ on HBO MAX, after all as America’s favorite sexually active hero, Samantha Jones. Kim filmed a cameo for the end of Season 2 of “And Just Like That”. . . and it’ll serve as a cliffhanger if the show returns for a third season. Season 6 of “Black Mirror” hits Netflix on June 15th.  The trailer dropped yesterday.

Angels pitcher Shohei Ohtani hit two home runs yesterday in their 12 to 5 win against the White Sox.  Here they are.

Of Note:  Mike Trout hit a 461-foot home run to begin the scoring.  With it, he passed Joe DiMaggio on the all-time home run list with 362.

Miles Mikolas matched a career high with 10 strikeouts and held the Royals scoreless for eight innings to pave the way as the Cardinals beat the Kansas City Royals, 2-1, and earn a split in the two-game I-70 series at Busch Stadium Tuesday night. The Cardinals have now won 14 of their last 18 games against the Royals. The Cardinalswill now have back-to-back scheduled days off for the first time this season. They finished their stretch of 19 consecutive days with a game having gone 12-7.

Sandy Koufax took the mound in Los Angeles for the first time as a Dodgers pitcher in 1958, after the team moved across the country from Brooklyn … and now the Hall of Famer’s historic, game-worn baseball mitt is on the auction block! Heading into ’58 season, the Dodgers were transitioning Koufax, their young 22-year-old relief pitcher, into a starter. The Hall of Famer flashed some of the incredible abilities that would go on to define his amazing career, appearing in 40 games (26 as a starter), going 11-11 with a 4.48 ERA.

Now, the actual Rawlings mitt worn by the MLB legend for some, if not all, of those appearances according to the auction house is on the auction block at The Memorabilia Network. The glove was also signed by the 7x All-Star and 4x World Series champion … a signature that’s been preserved over the years. The mitt is also adorned with “32,” Sandy’s jersey number, in black marker.

England’s annual cheese-rolling event was a thriller. The rules are simple: Be the first person to finish behind the 7-pound wheel of Double Gloucester cheese. Dozens of competitors chased the wheel of cheese down a 200-yard steep hill, but only one person could come out victorious. And that person was a  19-year-old woman from Canada who won the women’s race after being knocked unconscious. “I just remember hitting my head, and now I have the cheese,” Irving said.

Fourth ranked Hornell and second ranked Palmyra-Macedon were locked in a 5-4 contest with the underdog just one strike from the upset in the New York state Section V baseball championship.

For those who haven’t seen the video, which has been doing the rounds on social medial and has even been featured on ESPN’s SportsCenter, here it is in all it’s glory: New York high school baseball championship goes viral for unfortunate ending (msn.com)

the catcher did not cleanly catch the third strike. If there are less than two outs and first base is unoccupied, the batter is not out until tagged or the ball is thrown to first base. The third strike with two outs must be secured whether or not first base is occupied.

The catcher tried to make the tag on the batter and missed, turning to the umpire who signalled safe – indicating that the tag was not applied. For some reason, the catcher did not notice the signal and began to celebrate wildly with his team mates around the mound, thinking that they had won the title.

The problem is that the base runners continued to run and two runners crossed the plate, giving Palmyra-Macedon the win by a score of 6-5.
