Andy Dick (LINK) got a visit from cops after a guy he’s living with angrily whipped out a gun while they were live on the web Here’s the deal … Andy’s been staying with a YouTube personality in Las Vegas, who calls himself the Wappy Flanker, and things went awry over the weekend during their live stream. A third man went over to Wappy’s place, and an argument broke out That’s when Wappy pulls out a gun, and threateningly tells the visitor to beat it. In the video, you hear Andy telling his host, “Don’t shoot the gun. So police received a call from someone who was watching the live stream, and cops went to the home Saturday for a welfare check. The police spoke to Andy and the man who pulled the gun … and Andy told cops he was fine, and wanted to keep staying at the home. Officers left without citing or arresting anyone. It appears this isn’t the first time a gun has shown up in the live stream … a day earlier, video shows the Wappy Flanker with a gun on his waistband while Andy shoos off a guy recruiting him to stream an RV trip. The troubled comedian appears to be sleeping on a cot in the living room … and the live stream is seeking donations for Andy.

AMC Theaters announced that its mobile app will now take Dogecoin, Shibu Inu, and other crypto forms of payment.   When customers update to the latest version of the AMC app, they will be able to utilize the latest crypto partners for film passes via BitPay.  AMC isn’t new to the crypto game. Last year, the company started taking Bitcoin, Ether, Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin on its app. Dogecoin investors were taken aback because the currency wasn’t initially approved.    According to AMC’s CEO Adam Aron, crypto purchases account for 14 percent of the company’s online transactions.

There’s a famous piece of horror movie history going up for sale, the axe from the Stanley Kubrick masterpiece The Shining.  The axe is remembered for the scenes towards the end of the film, including the one where Jack Nicholson’s character uses it to break through a wooden door … leading up to his famous line, “Here’s Johnny!!!” The axe is going up for sale through Gotta Have Rock and Roll auction house. The famous prop is expected to fetch at least $100,000.  The auction house says the axe prop is still in very good condition and it’s displayed in a shadow box frame, along with some photos of it in action in the movie. Bidding begins April 20.

TOM CRUISE made sure that everything you see in “Top Gun: Maverick” is legit, even down to the actors flying in the F-18 jets.  So he helped put together a special aviation training program for the actors. Quote, “We worked with the Navy and the Top Gun school to formulate how to shoot it practically.  Because if we’re gonna do it, we’re gonna fly in the F-18s.”Producer JERRY BRUCKHEIMER said the aviation sequences had to be real, so the actors went through three months of, quote, “grueling training”. The training included an underwater program where they learned how to get out of an aircraft when it’s landed in water.  They also learned how to operate the cameras, since they had to be their own director while they were in the air. Tom said, quote, “I had to really teach them cinematography and lighting, so they understood what’s gonna look good on camera . . . I’m very proud of what we all accomplished.  Each one of them are extraordinary.” “Top Gun: Maverick” hits theaters May 27th

Here’s something you probably didn’t know:  PAUL RUDD and JEFFREY DEAN MORGAN own a candy store about 100 miles north of New York City. It’s called Samuel’s Sweet Shop and it’s in Rhinebeck, New York, and they were both fans.  So when the owner, Ira Gutner, passed away in 2014, they and their wives bought it so they could keep it alive. A new species of MILLIPEDE was recently discovered in the Appalachian Mountains, and Virginia Tech scientists have named it Nannaria swiftae . . . after TAYLOR SWIFT. When I think of honky-tonks, I think Roadhouse.  But that kind of behavior won’t be welcome at GARTH BROOKS’ Nashville club when it opens.  Here’s how he described the atmosphere he’s going for.  Quote, “I want the Chick-fil-A of honky-tonks.  I want a place where you go, where you feel good, feel safe and everybody’s got good manners. “My main push, from day one, is that they are sweet people.  They are nice people.  It’s a house of love and a house you are safe in.  I’m hoping that right when you walk in, it’s a ‘love everybody’ stated right there.  I want a place that’s just safe.”He even wants inclusive music.  It’ll be a combination of classic and today’s country.  Quote, “I don’t think that’s impossible to ask.  I’m hoping [it’s] a thumpin’ place that always looks like something is going crazy in there.  But when you walk in, I hope it’s country music that you hear.” (LINK)

The first David Bowie documentary to be approved by his estate, Moonage Daydream, is coming to HBO. Director Brett Morgan, who was also behind Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck is on board. A press release also said the doc is “told through sublime, kaleidoscopic, never-before-seen footage, performances, and music, and is guided by Bowie’s narration.   The doc takes its name from Bowie’s 1972 album, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars.  Moonage Daydream is expected to not only come to HBO and HBO Max next spring, but there are also talks of IMAX showings, too.

The final season of “Better Call Saul” kicked off last night, and it’s gonna change your life.  Or at least, a very small part of your life. Writer Peter Gould says, quote, “I don’t think you’re going to look at ‘Breaking Bad’ the same way again after you’ve seen this whole season.” He adds, quote, “We’re pulling a lot of threads together . . . sometimes they’re threads, sometimes they’re ropes.  This is the climax, at least for the moment, of all those episodes, 62 episodes of ‘Breaking Bad’.  We have ‘El Camino’. “This pulls a lot of the elements from all three projects together and weaves them” (LINK)

His new album is called “Psy 9th”, and it comes out next week on the 29th.  And here’s where it gets interesting:  Psy hyped its release with a video from 2013 . . . where he predicted he’d be dropping his next banger in 2022. He said, quote, “I know a lot of you have high expectations for my next hit song.  To be honest, I produced ‘Champion’ in 2002, and it took me exactly 10 years to produce a song that is more sensational with the release of ‘Gangnam Style’ in 2012 . . . “I guess what I’m trying to say is, perhaps the next time you’ll meet a song like ‘Gangnam Style’ will be in 2022.”

Carolina Panthers linebacker Damien Wilson was arrested in Texas last week after allegedly threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend. Cops said Wilson faces a charge of assault with bodily injury of a family member. Wilson’s ex-girlfriend said that he threatened to kill her while holding a tire iron and slammed her laptop on the ground after they had broken up. Wilson signed with the Panthers last month. The girlfriend said that she feared for her life after Wilson showed up at her apartment drunk and enraged. In addition to the death threat and destroyed laptop, she said that Wilson damaged her patio, choked her friend and attempted to run her over with his car. She shared photos of the laptop and patio with the paper. This is not the first time Wilson has been arrested on charges. In 2017, he was accused of backing his pickup truck into a woman and threatening a man with a rifle. A grand jury declined to indict Wilson on aggravated assault charges.
