Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Harrison Ford were trying to ‘out prank’ each other on the set of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. It worked and apparently he said, ‘GET THE HELL OUT OF MY TRAILER.’ While blinking three times. The U.S. Men’s National Team rode a hat trick from 2022 FIFA World Cup veteran forward Jesús Ferreira to a convincing 6-0 victory against St. Kitts and Nevis in Concacaf Gold Cup group play Wednesday night in front of 21,216 at CITYPARK. The 6-0 score is tied for the USA’s largest margin of victory at the Gold Cup, having previously defeated Cuba in 2015 and Trinidad and Tobago in 2019 by the same mark. The USA’s first three goals were scored in the span of three minutes and 50 seconds – the fastest span for three goals in a competitive match in USMNT history.

Now sitting atop Group A with four points and a plus-6 goal differential, the USMNT will close out the group stage against Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday, July 2 in Charlotte.

Right-hander Giovanny Gallegos allowed five runs on four hits, including a pair of home runs, and one walk in the eighth inning as the Cardinals lost 10-7 to the Astros in the second game of a three-game series at Busch Stadium last night.  The Cardinals (33-46) were leading 7-5 heading into the eighth inning, but Gallegos allowed a single and a walk by the first two batters he faced. The Blues selected Slovakian forward Dalibor Dvorsky with the No. 10 pick, a 6-1, 205-pound player that lives in the interior at the net-front, and a prospect that was thought of as unlikely to reach St. Louis after the first nine picks of the evening. The selection was the Blues’ highest since they took Alex Pietrangelo at No. 4 overall in 2008. It was the first forward that the Blues took in the top 10 since 1988, when St. Louis drafted Rod Brind’Amour with the ninth pick. Otto Stenberg, taken with pick number No. 25 by St. Louis, and Theo Lindstein, taken at No. 29 by the Blues, played together in Sweden and have been friends for a half-dozen years. They roomed together at the under-18 World Championship, and suddenly they were drafted to the same team. Stenberg was talking to reporters when he heard about his buddy getting picked and said this..“Is Lindstein picked by St. Louis?” Stenberg asked. “Oh, that’s fantastic. We are really good friends and same with Dalibor. We played together in some tournaments when we were younger. I know him really, really well.” – LINK
