I guess the Taylor Swift song All Too Well is rumored to be about Jake Gyllenhaal. He says it isn’t. Its about her relationship with her fans. But either way my point is, he is, someone is, finally calling out the star who’s fans are going after people. Jake did admit that he turned off his Instagram comments when the song was released last November. And without naming names, he suggested that Taylor should be more careful about riling up her fans. Quote, “At some point, I think it’s important when supporters get unruly that we feel a responsibility to have them be civil and not allow for cyberbullying in one’s name” (LINK)
To the shock of no one, Nick Cannon said that monogamy is unsuitable for him. He was on the Language of Love podcast. As far as his kids with five different women. He basically said if he has unprotected sex with a woman he has already thought about that pontentially turning into a child. If he gets to the uprotected sex part he has already thought about the consequences.

The Blues took on the Canadiens last night in Montreal in front of a sell out crowd of zero. Now, the Blues were coming off a 5-2 win against Ottawa. The Canadiens hadn’t won a game in their last 10. So naturally – the game would go into overtime. Robert Thomas tied things up at 1 near the end of the 1st. We had a scoreless second before Pavel Buchnevich made the game 2-1 with just over 1 minute left. But, the Canadiens didn’t give up. They scored to tie things up with 10 seconds left. And Cole Caufield, the guy who tied things up, only needed 2 minutes to overtime to score the game winner. Up next for the Blues – a game against the Leafs in Toronto on Saturday. Puck drop is scheduled for 6PM.

Here’s an update to something we had yesterday — The Los Angeles Rams, quarterback Matthew Stafford and his wife, Kelly, said that they would pay for a photographer’s medical bills and replace her cameras after she fell off the stage at the team’s Super Bowl celebration. Kelly Smiley, a photo editor for the NFL, NBA and NHL and a freelance photographer, said on Twitter that she fractured her spine in the fall, which happened in front of Matthew and Kelly Stafford, after she stepped backward on the stage. In addition, both of her cameras were broken, she tweeted. In a video that circulated on social media, Stafford appeared to notice that Smiley fell but walked away. Kelly Stafford, however, rushed to the edge of the stage to check on Smiley. Matthew Stafford was widely criticized on social media for his reaction in the video. A GoFundMe page was created to help Smiley and had generated more than $42,000 in donations as of Thursday afternoon.
Obviously Tom Brady is retired – for now – and the Bucs have to decide what they are going to do at the QB position. Yesterday we started hearing rumors that it was DeShaun Watson’s team. But now, we are learning that the team has pretty much told and prepared Blaine Gabbert – former Missouri Tiger and St. Louis’ own – that he will be their next QB. According to many, Gabbert was an extra set of eyes for Brady and a bonus Offensive Coordinator all during last season. Gabbert has actually been with the team since 2017.
On Thursday, a jury found former Angels communications director Eric Kay guilty on two counts of drug distribution resulting in death and drug conspiracy. The jury reached its verdict after deliberating for less than three hours. Sentencing is scheduled for June 28. Kay faces 20 years to life imprisonment for the drug distribution charge and up to 20 years for the drug conspiracy charge. A coroner’s report said Skaggs, 27, had choked to death on his vomit in 2019, and a toxic mix of alcohol, fentanyl and oxycodone was in his system.

The U.S. Women’s National Team opened the 2022 SheBelieves Cup with a 0-0 draw against the Czech Republic. Iceland defeated New Zealand 1-0 earlier in the evening and sit atop the SheBelieves Cup standings. Thursday’s match between the USWNT and Czech Republic was just the second meeting ever between the two teams. The Americans last played, and defeated, the Czech Republic 8-1 in 2000. The USWNT is looking to win the SheBelieves Cup for the third straight year. And yesterday we saw the debut of a young star with a familiar last name. Trinity Rodman made her debut in the draw. Their next game is Sunday at 2PM against New Zealand.
We’re heading into the final few days of the Winter Olympics. Let’s see how we did yesterday in Beijing . . .Early yesterday morning, speed skater Brittany Bowe won bronze in the women’s 1,000 meters. She’s the current world record holder in that event, so third place was a little disappointing. But it’s also the first Olympic medal of her career. We’ve still got a few more chances to add to our medal count this weekend, but it’s looking like Norway might run away with it. Here’s the latest leaderboard we saw.
- Norway: 29. . . 14 gold, 7 silver, 8 bronze.
- Russia: 26. . . 5 gold, 9 silver, 12 bronze.
- Germany: 22. . . 10 gold, 7 silver, 5 bronze.
- Canada: 22. . . 4 gold, 6 silver, 12 bronze.
- USA: 21. . . 8 gold, 8 silver, 5 bronze.
