CHRIS BROWN is in familiar territory today:  He’s accused of hitting a woman. The alleged victim called police Friday morning, claiming Chris slapped her on the back of the head at his house in Tarzana, California.  According to TMZ (link), he hit her so hard, it knocked her weave off her head. The woman didn’t appear injured, and no arrests have been made.  This will probably end up being a misdemeanor . . . although given Chris’ history with women, maybe it shouldn’t be?( But he DID give his word back in Back in 2009From “MTV’s Chris Brown Interview” on Friday, November 6, 2009.)

Congrats to Joy Behar she won the contest called “What Celebrity Will Say Something DUMB After That NFL Guy Came Out as Gay” (Carl Nassib) She knew it immediately too.  Chopping it up on the “The View (link)” . Ana, however, couldn’t remember who he played for, asking the other women if they knew. With the remark, Ana blocked her ears, Sara put her head down and Sunny Hostin (link) smiled through it, shaking her head before throwing up her hands. Meghan McCain (link), meanwhile, was clearly not impressed…..Joy later said this…”I just long for the day when you can just be gay in the world, and it doesn’t become a big deal,” she said. “By the way, that inappropriate joke I made for daytime television? Scratch it. Make believe I never said it.”

BRITNEY SPEARS has rarely ever discussed her conservatorship in public.  But apparently, she’s been wanting out of it for years.  The “New York Times (link)” dug up some court documents in which Britney described the arrangement as “oppressive”, and said her dad Jamie Spears had too much control. That includes giving her a $2,000 weekly allowance, even though she’s worth $60 MILLION . . . telling her who she can be friends with, and regulating all her personal decisions, down to the color of her kitchen cabinets. And she said the consequences for disobeying daddy were, quote, “very harsh.” A court investigator who spoke to Britney in 2016 said, quote, “She is sick of being taken advantage of and she said she is the one working and earning her money but everyone around her is on her payroll.” Britney will actually speak at a hearing today.  It’s not clear what she’ll say.  Jamie’s attorney says that if Britney wanted out, she could have petitioned the court anytime over the past 13 years to end the conservatorship. Although Britney’s attorneys have suggested over the years that she’s AFRAID to go against him.

Ever gone through a lady part tunnel?  Don’t answer that.  Well, in CARA DELEVINGNE’s home you can.She recently gave a tour of her LA home, which she describes as a, quote, “Mad Hatter’s tea party” with artsy and quirky decorations and furniture. One of her favorite parts of her home that her architect helped create is her pink tunnel that looks like a woman’s private parts. It’s hidden behind a mirror, and it’s a place Cara likes to go to, quote, “Think . . . create . . . feel inspired.” When you come out the other side, you exit into another room through a pink washing machine . . . which, according to Cara, leaves you, quote, “rebirthed and cleansed.”

The site MrQ.com (link) looked at the 3,000 most recent Tweets of some of the most famous names, and counted up the bad words.  And they found that the celebrity with the filthiest vocabulary is . . TOP 10

Metallica has a massive 30th-anniversary reissue of its black album coming September 10th. Black List has a total of 53 different artists covering their favorite black album tunes, including both Ghost and Weezer covering “Enter Sandman”. Covers of “Sad But True” by Royal Blood and St. Vincent will appear on the reissue. Volbeat, Corey Taylor and Cage The Elephant will give their takes on other black album tunes, too.   Pre-order the reissue at Metallica.com.  You can also hear Elton John and Miley Cyrus cover “Nothing Else Matters” at the band’s website, too.  (Here’s a preview featuring Miley Cyrus and Chris Stapleton, each doing a cover of “Nothing Else Matters”, Volbeat taking on “Don’t Tread on Me”, and Jon Pardi tackling “Wherever I May Roam”.)

By the way…With a net worth of $900 million, all the members of Metallica are doing well, but as with businesses like that the pay isn’t always spread equally. So  two members of the band each hold nearly one-third of that worth. Both James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich have a net worth of over $300 million.  Ulrich is Metallica’s richest band member, with more than $350 million. Guitarist Kirk Hammett holds $200 million. Bassist Robert Trujillo, who didn’t join Metallica until 2003, has a net worth of $30 million.

Most would say the band KISS went on just fine without Peter Criss and Ace Frehley, but now Paul Stanley says that KISS could easily continue as a band without him and Gene Simmons.  AND the band would be called KISS. KISS, with Gene and Paul, have a US leg planned for their End of The Road Tour, kicking off August 18th in Mansfield, Massachusetts.

The Cardinals suffered a loss at the hands of the Tigers last night up in Detroit.  Final score was 8-2.  Two teams wrap up there series today.  First pitch this afternoon is scheduled for 12:10 and John Gant gets the start for the Cardinals.

Two days into Major League Baseball’s revamped enforcement of sticky stuff, a couple of things are clear. First, no one is above suspicion. Just ask Max Scherzer. Second, if MLB expected a smooth integration of its newest guidelines into the flow of its games, that appears to be unlikely. Just ask anyone who saw Tuesday’s game between the Philadelphia Phillies and Washington Nationals. Scherzer was inspected three times for the use of foreign substances on the baseball during his five-inning outing against Philadelphia. The first two inspections, coming after the first and third innings, were part of the new normal, as starting pitchers have been told that they can expect two inspections per outing. It was the third inspection, which was instigated by Philadelphia manager Joe Girardi, that set off a firestorm. Despite all the yelling and screaming and drama because of the check — the Nationals won 3-2. Scherzer improved his record to 6-4 to go with a 2.19 ERA and won his 181st career game. The Nationals won their third straight to move into a virtual three-way tie for second place in the NL East with the Phillies and Braves.

It didn’t take long for the number 1 prospect in all of baseball – Wander Franco –  to display the many skills that scouts have been raving about. The kind of skills that made him the No. 1 overall prospect in Major League Baseball. The kind of skills that the Tampa Bay Rays hope to see a lot more of. It’s only one game, of course, but it sure seems like the sky is the limit. In his major league debut, Franco, 20, started at third base, doubled, homered, drove in three runs and showed a flair for the dramatic with a curtain call in Tampa Bay’s 9-5, 11-inning loss to the Boston Red Sox. Franco even drew a nice ovation when he went on the field to run pregame, and got a partial standing ovation when the Rays’ lineup was announced over the public address system.

The Montreal Canadiens have won game 5 against the Golden Knights.  It wasn’t really close either….The Canadiens at one point were up 3-0 but ended up picking up the 4-1 win.  They could close things out and move onto the Stanley Cup Final with a win tomorrow night.  Tonight, we could see the lightning move on as they take on the Islanders tonight at 7PM.

Last nights game between the Suns/Clippers went down to the wire. Paul George was fouled and missed two free throws with about 8 seconds to go to seal the game. With the Suns down by 1 with seconds to go…they had the ball on the baseline ready to imbound…and this is what happened: Suns up 2-0.  Tonight the Hawks and Bucks get their series started…tip off is scheduled for 7PM.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Alex Caruso was arrested and released on Tuesday for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Aroun 2PM yesterday, Caruso tried to board a flight. The TSA searched Caruso’s bags and found a herb grinder that contained marijuana. According to online records, Caruso was arrested for possession of less than two ounces of marijuana. He was released after posting bond. Caruso played at Texas A&M in college. He is an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

When Tim Tebow signed on with the Jacksonville Jaguars, his jersey flew off the shelves and was the hot jersey to have. Now, the NFL player with the top-selling jersey over the last 24 hours is none other than Carl Nassib!!! According to the popular fan gear website Fanatics, Nassib’s #94 Las Vegas Raiders jersey has been flying off the shelves ever since the D-lineman announced on Monday that he’s gay. The support for Nassib since he made his announcement has been overwhelming. Everybody from Saquon Barkley to Roger Goodell to even O.J. Simpson has praised the 28-year-old for coming forward. Raiders head coach Jon Gruden also threw his support behind his player, telling the Las Vegas Review-Journal, “I learned a long time ago what makes a man different is what makes him great.”

Simone Biles shared a photo of herself looking at the Arch, after she got here for the U.S. Gymnastics Olympic trials. “Hi St. Louis,” Biles wrote in the caption. “Can’t believe this week I’ll be competing in my second Olympic Trials. What a dream.” The gymnastics Olympic Trials kick off on June 24 with Men’s Day 1, followed by Women’s Day 1 on June 25. June 26 and 27 will see Men’s Day 2 and Women’s Day 2. At the end of the trials, five men and women will be selected to the United States team. There will also be three alternates for both the men and the women.
