Being a dog-walker for LADY GAGA probably a pretty cool job when you aren’t getting shot. Wednesday night, Gaga’s dog-walker Ryan Fischer was out with her three French bulldogs . . . Gustav, Koji and Miss Asia. At around 9:40 P.M., a car pulled up alongside them, and two thieves jumped out. They yelled at Ryan to “give it up,” but he really put up a fight. The bad guys were NOT messing around . . . and they SHOT HIM in the stomach with a semiautomatic handgun. The thieves were able to get away with Gustav and Koji. Miss Asia ran from the thieves . . . back to Ryan as he was lying on the ground, so she’s safe. Okay . . . first off, Ryan is okay. He’s “recovering well” at the hospital. As for the dogs, Lady Gaga is offering a $500,000 reward for their return . . . no questions asked. Of course, SHE may not ask any questions, but the cops will . . . this wasn’t just a dog-napping, there was a gun and an ATTEMPTED MURDER. Now, you might be wondering what the end-game is here. Even the stupidest criminal should know that they’re not going to shoot Gaga’s dog-walker, steal her dogs, cash in on the ransom, and then ride off into the sunset, scot-free. So they might not be holding them hostage. In fact, the perps might not have even known (or cared) that the dogs were Lady Gaga’s. The American Kennel Club says dog theft is an increasingly big problem, and French Bulldogs are among the most popular targets. They’re worth a lot of money, AND they’re relatively “easy to grab and run with.” At the time of the shooting, Gaga was in Rome shooting her role in Ridley Scott’s movie “Gucci”. She hasn’t said anything publicly about the dog-walker, but it’s safe to assume that she’ll make sure he’s taken care of. There are no suspects yet. The car was supposedly a white Nissan Altima. (“If you have any information, you’re supposed to email a tip to KojiAndGustav@GmailDOTcom.)
(By the way, “Entertainment Tonight” talked with someone who knows Ryan, and he thinks that the dogs WERE stolen because they were Gaga’s. He said Ryan walked the dogs there at that same time every day.) (French Bulldogs CAN go for more than $10,000, but a stolen dog wouldn’t have its official paperwork, so it would probably only sell for $2,500. But if someone knew they were buying Gaga’s dog . . . who knows.) Not only has Lady Gaga put out a HALF-MILLION dollar reward for the safe return of her dogs, but now her “Machete Kills” co-star, Danny Trejo is on the case in L.A.
38 year old comedian John Mulaney is out of rehab. He did 2 months for drug and alcohol abuse. He has struggled before saying he started drinking at 13 and got sober once at 23. Talks about it on his specials too. He got back into it during the pandemic which I would imagine is common. He had no structure and needed it to a point he took a job as a staff writer on Seth Meyers talk show. He is apparently doing well but not ready to go back to work.
EMMA WATSON was trending yesterday after one of the not-always-reliable British tabloids said she was quitting acting. They claimed that Emma’s agent said she’d gone “dormant” career-wise, in order to spend time with her boyfriend Leo Robinton, who she’s been dating for 18 months. But it turns out it’s NOT true. Emma’s manager says it’s her SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS that are dormant, not her career. Robinton reportedly makes bank selling legal pot in L.A.
What did it cost KANYE WEST to run for president? Other than his marriage, I mean. According to a Federal Election Commission report, he laid out $12.5 million of his own money, and raised another $2 million from outside contributors. He ended up spending $13.2 million on the campaign, earning 66,000 votes. Which means that he spent $200 per vote. Interestingly enough, one thing Kanye did NOT spend that money on was advertising . . . which is usually a campaign’s LARGEST expense.
The box office was almost non-existent for most of 2020 but The Academy has 366 full-length movies eligible for consideration this year. That’s a lot. It’s not only more than the 344 that were considered last year, it’s the most they’ve had in 50 YEARS. That dates back to 1970, when there were 374 eligible entries. Not a bunch of blockbusters though because the studios are holding some back. But remember, the Academy didn’t nominate many mainstream blockbusters in the first place. No nominations have been announced, but the contenders for Best Picture are expected to include . . . “Nomadland”, “The Trial of the Chicago 7”, “Minari”, “Mank”, “Promising Young Woman”, “One Night in Miami”, “Sound of Metal”, “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom”, “Da 5 Bloods”, and “The Father”. There’s also “Judas and the Black Messiah”, the Pixar movie “Soul”, “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm”, “News of the World”, “Palm Springs”, “Never Rarely Sometimes Always”, “Tenet”, and “Hillbilly Elegy”. Oscar nominees will be announced on March 15th. The ceremony is happening on April 25th.
Who is ok with seeing a woman breastfeeding out in public? The “Golden Globes” air this Sunday on NBC. During the broadcast, viewers will see what is most likely the very first commercial to show LACTATING BREASTS on broadcast TV. It’s a commercial for Frida Mom, a company that makes products for postnatal breast care. It shows all the hardships breastfeeding moms go through, like leaking, clogging, and getting the baby to latch properly. And there are nipples. Lots of nipples. Including ones that squirt. There’s also a low-key hilarious moment where a mom drops a piece of popcorn on her baby’s head, and eats it without using her hands. (Admit it . . . you’ve done that.)Their message is, “Care for your breasts. Not just your baby.”

Also, they will put new releases on the service within 45 days of theatrical release, including the upcoming “Top Gun: Maverick,” “A Quiet Place 2” and “Mission: Impossible 7.” Original films from the studio for Paramount Plus include a new “Paranormal Activity” and a “Pet Sematary” prequel.
Mike Tyson seems like he’d top 3 of the list of people you don’t wanna upset. Hulu is doing an eight-part docuseries on MIKE TYSON’s life, called “Iron Mike” . . . and the REAL Iron Mike isn’t cool with it. He says, quote, “This announcement on the heels of social disparities in our country is a prime example of how Hulu’s corporate greed led to this tone-deaf cultural misappropriation of my life story. “To make this announcement during Black History Month only confirms Hulu’s concern for dollars over respect for Black story rights . . . My authorized story is in development and will be announced in coming days.”

In the original, Hootie says the Dolphins make him cry. But Post Malone is a Dallas fan . . . so he changed it to the COWBOYS. For some reason, the song was recorded for Pokemon’s 25th anniversary.

Tiger Woods has been transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles following the single-vehicle crash Tuesday that left him with serious leg injuries. Two separate sources told ESPN on Wednesday that Woods sustained an injury to his talus bone, which connects the bottom of the lower leg to the top of the foot. The bone is a pivot point for motion. Sources say that screws were likely inserted into the area to help it heal, and if all goes well, eventually allow for normal movement. A police spokesman clarified yesterday that zero charged would be filed and that there was “no way” that Tiger was drunk during the crash.
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has not demanded a trade. His agent said Wilson has told the Seahawks that he wants to play in Seattle, but if a trade were considered, the only teams he would go to are the Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints, Las Vegas Raiders and Chicago Bears. Wilson expressed frustration after the season over all the hits he has taken and stated his desire for more say in the team’s personnel decisions. Those comments were out of the norm for Wilson, who had never publicly aired any grievances over his first nine seasons in the NFL.

And finally – Jake Paul will take on former MMAer Ben Askren in a boxing match on April 17th. When first announced it was touted as a “star studded” event with a huge undercard. Well – we have heard of our first fight on that undercard. Former light heavyweight champion Antonio Tarver will be taking on form UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir. Mir hasn’t been inside of a ring since October of 2019 when people pretty much just assumed he fought for the last time. Tarver hasn’t fought since 2015 after failing a drug test and having multiple run ins with the law.
