Hey remember they are doing a reboot of Wipeout on TBS? Back in 2009 when it was airing on ABC a 33-year-old man died.  He had a stroke, which was brought on by a preexisting, undetected health condition. Fast forward to the 2020 reboot and yep…A man died just after completing an obstacle course on the “Wipeout” reboot last Wednesday. There’s talk that it was a heart attack, but officially he experienced a “medical emergency.”  It’s also unclear how long after he finished that it happened . . . he was off the course, but still on the set. The contestant was treated by on-site medical personnel before being taken to the hospital, where he passed.  The show hasn’t released the man’s identity, so i don’t know how old he was. They are on a pre-planned hiatus for Thanksgiving, but it’s expected to resume next week. All contestants undergo a medical exam before they’re cleared to participate.

Guess who got into a big fight after stealing some beer? The offspring of the BEATLES and OASIS. RINGO STARR’s grandson Sonny Starkey, LIAM GALLAGHER’s boy Gene Gallagher, and a third dummy pleaded not guilty on Friday to attacking an Indian security guard at a convenience store in London. The three of them allegedly went into the store last year for alcohol AFTER the store’s curfew for selling beer.  The third guy . . . the one WITHOUT a famous ancestor . . . stole a beer. When they were confronted, they started brawling with the security guard and some other employees. During the fight, the non-famous guy reportedly said, quote, “You bloody Indians.  Go back to where you came from.  You’re not wanted here.”

TYLER PERRY made Thanksgiving better for a lot of people in the Atlanta area yesterday. He opened up his studio for four hours to feed 5,000 families with a combination of food boxes and gift cards to Kroger supermarkets.  And his employees donated their time to help hand everything out. The line started forming on Saturday, and at one point it was five miles long.  They were out of food by 10:00 A.M. Sunday.

Friday night’s The Mandalorian was Game of Thronie. Season 2’s fourth episode called “The Siege,”. An intense scene, Imperial space battle. In the background you see a guy in jeans and a t shirt.  The episode was directed by Carl Weathers, who plays Greef Karga in this scene. The guy also made it into one of the official promotional photos for the episode. Not the first time. You can see a crew member in Braveheart; there’s an actor wearing a wristwatch in Spartacus. But now people can rewind things and everybody is talking to each other in real time. So one person saw the coffee cup, rewound it, and then everybody did. There is also a scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark, when a guy in a T-shirt is seen in the background of a scene taking place in 1936 Egypt

A director got caught insulting an actor’s apartment during a Zoom audition . . . because he thought he was on mute, but he wasn’t. Actor LUKAS GAGE from the HBO series “Euphoria” was auditioning for the director . . . who hasn’t been identified.  There’s no word if Lukas got the job.

Freddy Krueger is coming to “Stranger Things.” Well, Robert Englund is and he will play a recurring role in Season 4. He will play Victor Creel, a disturbed and intimidating man who is imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for a gruesome murder in the 1950s. Englund is famous for the “Nightmare on Elm Street” film franchise. No premiere date has been announced.

Marvel has been hesitant to discuss a “Black Panther” sequel since the death of CHADWICK BOSEMAN, but the “Hollywood Reporter” says it will start shooting in July. Not much is known at this point, but Marvel has already said they’re not bringing back T’Challa with digital effects.  Sources say LETITIA WRIGHT will have a more prominent role.  She plays T’Challa’s sister Shuri. Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, and Angela Bassett are also set to return . . . while Mexican actor Tenoch Huerta from the Netflix show “Narcos: Mexico” will play a bad guy.

Good news for “Deadpool” fans who thought Disney would never make an R-rated third installment:  It’s happening. It’s being written by sisters Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin and Wendy Molyneux, the Emmy-winning writers of “Bob’s Burgers”. Obviously, there aren’t any details yet.

Amazon Studios has confirmed that it has acquired worldwide rights to “Coming 2 America” with a March 5, 2021 date to launch on Amazon Prime Video. The OG “Coming to America,” (1998) grossed more than $288 million worldwide.  Original cast members from “Coming to America” return including James Earl Jones, Shari Headley, John Amos and Louie Anderson. Joining the cast are Wesley Snipes, Leslie Jones, and Tracy Morgan

A drum kit that legendary Rush drummer Neil Peart used between 1974 and 1977 is now up for auction. It’s the kit he used at his first live gig with Rush in Pittsburgh in1974. Peart also used the drum kit for his first three studio albums with Rush, 75’s Fly by Night and Caress of Steel, plus 76’s 2112. It’s on the auction block until December 9th and is expected to bring in between $80,000 and $120,000.

Last week, Aunt Viv #1, JANET HUBERT, reconciled with WILL SMITH and the cast of “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”.  But one person was noticeably absent:  ALFONSO RIBEIRO, a.k.a. Carlton. Alfonso WAS a part of the reunion special, but he wasn’t around when Janet reunited with everyone . . . so some people speculated that there may still be some bad blood between them. Janet feuded with most of the cast for 27 years . . . and a few years back, she referred to Alfonso as, quote, “Will Smith’s [feminine product].”  (She actually said “Will’s tampon.”)  (???)  She also called him a “dumb-a**.” Well, apparently Alfonso wasn’t snubbing her.  He said they filmed various parts of the special over several days . . . and he was busy the day Aunt Viv #1 was there, and he didn’t get a chance to talk to her. Quote, “Like two or three days before we were supposed to shoot, they were like, ‘Hey, are you available?’ . . . unfortunately, I had to go shoot [‘America’s Funniest Home Videos’] that day.”

Actress and model CARA DELEVINGNE can now add a new line to her resumé:  Sex Toy Manufacturer.  Cara just became co-owner of the Lora DiCarlo sex tech company, alongside its founder, Lora DiCarlo. Cara actually reached out to Lora first, and she says, quote, “This means more to me than any job I’ve ever done . . . I’m not just doing this to do it, I want to help to solve problems . . .”Giving yourself the freedom to give yourself pleasure became quite a hard thing.  Especially around times with so much uncertainty and fear, like right now, that compounds . . .”It’s so important, to start a dialogue not only about the good sides of it, but also about the fears and about the insecurities.  Because everyone has them.”

You hate to see this happen to a promising young player. Kind of the way 2020’s been going right. The no.1 overall pick, Joe Burrow was carted off the field with a left knee injury in the third quarter of Sunday’s 20-9 loss to Washington. The Cincinnati Bengals QB was immediately ruled out by the team. The initial diagnosis on Burrow’s injury is a torn ACL but there could be additional damage.  The injury came with the pocket collapsing on the rookie QB as he was looking downfield. A group of bodies crashed into his legs just after Burrow got rid of the ball. Burrow later tweeted this out to the fans. “Thanks for all the love. Can’t get rid of me that easy. See ya next year✊— Joey Burrow (@JoeyB)”

In one of the most bizarre injuries of the year, Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster suffered a right foot/ankle injury early in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game vs. the Jaguars after stepping on a referee’s penalty flag.  Smith-Schuster limped off the field and had his leg briefly looked at by trainers.  The Steelers led 20–3 at the time of Smith-Schuster’s injury and held on to defeat Jacksonville, 27–3

The  Lakers are following up their championship run by adding a big man with championship experience. The Lakers are finalizing a two-year deal with center Marc Gasol. The free-agent signing requires some maneuvering on the part of Lakers to manage the salary cap. L.A. is trading center JaVale McGee and a future second-round pick to the Cleveland Cavaliers to help make room for Gasol.

St. Louis’ own Jayson Tatum has agreed to a five-year extension worth up to $195 million with the Boston Celtics. The full designated rookie max of $163 million could go up to nearly $200 million with All-NBA escalators. Tatum will receive the 30% max that would boost the contract’s value to $195 million only if he makes first-, second- or third-team All-NBA next season. Tatum was a third-team All-NBA selection this past season. He also will receive a player option in the deal.

The Auburn men’s basketball program has self-imposed a postseason ban for the 2020-21 season. The decision stems from the FBI’s investigation into college basketball corruption. Their former head coach was one of four college basketball assistant coaches to be arrested in September 2017. In July 2019, he was sentenced to two years of community service.

Alabama is now a unanimous No. 1 in the college football poll. For the second straight week, the top eight teams in the poll held their spots. The Crimson Tide received all 62 first-place votes after beating Kentucky 63-3, making Alabama the first unanimous No. 1 this season and the first team to do it in the regular season since 2018. Notre Dame was No. 2, followed by Ohio State, Clemson and Texas A&M. Florida was No. 6, and No. 7 Cincinnati and No. 8 BYU also held their spots. The rest of the top 10 was No. 9 Miami and Oregon.

Mizzou won’t crack the TOP 25…however – they did pick up a win over the weekend.  The Tigers headed to South Carolina and picked up a 17-10 win.  Up next for the Tigers…a game Saturday in Columbia against Arkansas.  Kick off is scheduled for 11AM.

Speaking with reporters on Sunday following the cancellation of the Clemson-Florida State game that was to be played on Saturday, Clemson coach Dabo Swinney did not hide his frustration with the decision to not play the game. The move came after a Clemson player tested positive for COVID-19, though Swinney called the virus “just an excuse” for Florida State to avoid playing. He said: “This game was not canceled because of COVID. COVID was just an excuse to cancel the game.” The game was postponed following a positive test by a Clemson player on Friday. Both teams’ medical personnel were not able to come to an agreement on moving forward with the game. Clemson was made aware of the positive test after landing in Tallahassee, with the player who tested positive onboard the flight.

The Florida Gators are not expected to play their first two college basketball games amid concerns about COVID-19. The team has currently paused its basketball activities due to COVID-19. Florida was expected to open its season facing UMass Lowell on Wednesday before a high-profile battle against Virginia on Friday. The team’s next scheduled game is Wednesday, Dec. 2, against Oklahoma. The college basketball season was delayed across the nation while programs prepared for COVID-19 protocols
