Chicago Street Race President Julie Giese says they wanted to bring out some of the best artists in the business for the special occasion: “We are proud to welcome superstars The Chainsmokers, Miranda Lambert, The Black Crowes, and Charley Crockett as we reimagine the NASCAR experience in the heart of downtown Chicago over Fourth of July weekend. The Black Crowes take the stage on Saturday. No settlement terms were disclosed. Bianco had claimed that the singer drugged, tortured and raped her in 2011. She also alleged that Manson once whipped Bianco with a “Nazi whip” and also cut her with a “Nazi knife”. Bianco’s lawyers wrote this week that she “has agreed to resolve her claims against Brian Warner and Marilyn Manson Records, Inc. in order to move on with her life and career”. Last month a California judge dismissed model Ashley Morgan Smithline’s lawsuit against Marilyn Manson after she failed to hire a new attorney to represent her during before the judge’s 90-day window. Smithline had accused Manson of sexual assault, human trafficking and unlawful imprisonment. Foo Fighters are replacing the newly formed Pantera at two German festivals this summer. Upon learning that the band was scheduled to appear at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, the German Green Party for the Nuremberg City Council released a statement, saying that Anselmo “repeatedly and deliberately displayed Nazi symbols or yelled racist slogans.” Festival organizers explained “In the last few weeks, we have had many intensive conversations… and decided to remove the band from the program. “The backlash steams from a 2016 incident when singer Phil Anselmo allegedly gave the Nazi salute and said, “white power’ while performing at Dime Bash, the annual concert honoring late guitarist Dimebag Darrell. Anselmo has repeatedly apologized for the incident, claiming he was drunk. Ozzy Osbourne and Joan Jett will appear in Workday’s Super Bowl ad. They released a preview. Office workers find out who the new guy is. And it’s Ozzy. Greek Fire bassist Mark Roth loves the THERE I RUINED guy on social media and here is his latest… The “There I Ruined It” guy imagined what Pearl Jam sounds like to people who don’t like the band. Check it out. Adult Swim has announced it has cut ties with ‘Rick and Morty’ co-creator and voice star Justin Roiland in the wake of his felony charges for domestic violence. Roiland is facing one count of domestic battery with corporal injury and one count of false imprisonment by menace, violence, fraud and deceit based on an incident with an unnamed Jane Doe who was dating him back in early 2020. Adult Swim wrote on Tuesday that ‘Rick and Morty’ would continue, adding “The talented and dedicated crew are hard at work on season seven.” With Roiland out, the voices of both title characters will be recast. A protective order was filed against Roiland in October 2020 to bar him from harassing, threatening or surveilling the person named in the order. Roiland’s back in court for a pre-trial hearing on April 27th. Almost eight years after it was canceled, Aqua Teen Hunger Force has scored a 12th season from Adult Swim. The network announced on Wednesday that it had ordered five new episodes of the animated series that follows the warped adventures of talking fast food items/roommates Frylock, Master Shake, and Meatwad, as well as their distasteful human neighbor, Carl. Original creators Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro will oversee season 12 of the series, which reassembles the main voice cast members Jeremy Renner was trying to save his nephew when he was crushed by his massive snow grooming machine. That’s according to the newly-released incident report from a Nevada sheriff’s office. Police say Jeremy had just helped free his nephew’s car from the snow, when the vehicle started sliding sideways. Jeremy jumped out of it, but then he realized it was heading toward his nephew. Jeremy hadn’t set the parking brake, which police think would have stopped it. Anyway, Jeremy tried to jump back INTO the vehicle to divert or stop it. In order to get back into the cab, though, he had to step on one of the tracks . . . which pulled him under and he got run over. While the report states that Jeremy didn’t set the parking brake, it also suggests mechanical issues may have been a factor, because the brake light indicator inside the cab wasn’t functioning. Tool’s Maynard James Keenan could help you brush up on your self defense skills. He’s hosting an introductory class to Brazilian jiu-jitsu next month in Cottonwood, Arizona. The singer holds a brown belt in BJJ. If you can’t get to Keenan’s class on grappling and holds, you can see Tool headline Welcome To Rockville in Daytona, Florida this May. Charges against Tool drummer Danny Carey have been dropped after he was arrested for assault at the Kansas City airport back in December 2021. Carey allegedly shoved his fingers into an airport employee’s chest and called him a homophobic slur. Video shows him arguing with a cop, saying “I just want to get the f*** outta here” while repeating “Who did I assault?” Carey hails from Kansas and played drums at the Kansas vs. Mizzou college basketball game over that weekend, playing a cover of Jimi Hendrix’s “Fire” with KU’s band. While they say charges against Carey have been dropped the court didn’t disclose why prosecutors wanted the case dismissed. Police did a welfare check on Britney Spears Tuesday night at around 11:00 p.m. But they determined she wasn’t in any danger. The reason they conducted the check was a little weird. Apparently, Britney deleted her Instagram account . . . which she’s done, like, 50 times in the last few years . . . and her fans got worried and started calling the cops. In recent weeks, Britney has been seen getting upset at a restaurant when other patrons started filming her . . . and supposedly changing her name to “River Red”. In the original “Squid Game”, everybody DIED . . . so I don’t know what these people are complaining about: As you may remember, Netflix is producing a “Squid Game” REALITY show, with real contestants playing real games for real money. It’s shooting in England right now. One of the games they played was “Red Light, Green Light”, just like on the original show. But a British tabloid says contestants were forced to play outside in sub-zero temperatures, and a few were severely injured. Netflix is denying it, of course. They say, quote, “We care deeply about the health and safety of our cast and crew, and invested in all the appropriate safety procedures. “While it was very cold on set, and participants were prepared for that, any claims of serious injury are untrue.” (Hollywood Reporter) We heard recently that con artist Anna Sorokin . . . or Delvey. . . or whatever she’s calling herself this week . . . was getting a reality show. And now we know more about it. It’ll be called “Delvey’s Dinner Club”, and will feature Anna hosting dinner parties for actors, musicians, socialites, journalists, and other important people. There’s no word on any specific guests yet. Anna says, quote, “There’s nothing like the experience of bringing together a curated group of friends to share life stories and enjoy a great culinary experience . . . “I’m grateful for the opportunity to . . . bring my vision to a wider audience and share a glimpse of the real Anna Delvey.” Anna is on house arrest, so this will be happening in her apartment. There’s no word where or when we’ll get to see it. (Yahoo!) One stool is as good as the next, right? Not if you’re one of the most successful standup comedians in the world. The rider for Kevin Hart’s Reality Check Tour hit the Web yesterday, and Kevin is VERY particular about where he perches when he’s spewing his particular brand of hilarity for the masses. The document very clearly states that the only acceptable stool is a Winsome brand, 29-inch-tall, square leg, flat top model (Check out a picture.) The Rider even provides an Amazon link in case the venue needs to buy one. It says, quote, “The exact stool is important and substitutions will not be accepted. Please notify immediately if there are any issues.” (You can check out highlights from Kevin’s tour rider here.)
