A “Harry Potter” TV Show Is in the Works

“Harry Potter” TV series is in the works, and if it happens, it’ll probably end up at HBO Max. This won’t be a spin-off series like the “Fantastic Beasts” movies.  Instead, each season will be related to one of the “Harry Potter” books.  It’s not clear what, if any, characters we already know will be involved. J.K. Rowling WILL have some creative input, but she won’t be the primary creator or showrunner.

The New “Fatal Attraction” Series Will Examine What Happens AFTER Alex Is Killed

Even if remakes and reboots aren’t your thing, the new “Fatal Attraction” series that’s coming to Paramount+ might be worth watching, because it has a compelling twist. In addition to showing the affair between Dan Gallagher and Alex Forrest that causes so much chaos, it also flashes forward to 15 years later, when Dan is getting out of prison for Alex’s murder. In a new trailer, Dan . . . played by Joshua Jackson . . . says, quote, “Every day that I have been in [prison] I have thought about Alexandra Forrest, because I need to understand what I did, how she died and why.” He also says, quote, “I did not kill that woman, and I’m going to prove it.” (Lizzy Caplan plays Alex.  The show debuts on Paramount+ on April 30th.)

I then become like a 3-year-old with their mom’s phone where I get completely absorbed into it.  So, that’s why I know I can’t have it.”

Steven Tyler Wants Sexual Assault Lawsuit Dismissed

Did you know that Steven Tyler from Aerosmith is being sued for sexual assault? Last December, his former girlfriend Julia Holcomb sued him and accused him of sexual assault while she was a minor in the 70s. Of course, Steven wants the lawsuit dismissed. In his memoir from a couple years ago, he wrote that he “almost took a teen bride” and her parents had signed over legal guardianship to him. Here’s what he wrote, quote, “With my bad self being 26 and she barely old enough to drive and sexy as hell, I just fell madly in love with her.” In his legal filing, Steven claims that Julia’s allegations are either wholly or partly inadmissible since she gave consent and since he was protected as her legal guardian. His claim also said that his actions were “legitimate, justified and in good-faith,” and since Julia didn’t “sustain any injury or loss by reason of any act or omission”, the lawsuit should be tossed.

Rock Stars with Questionable Pasts

Elvis Presley – Priscilla Presley was only 14 when she had met the King of Rock and Roll who was then 25 years old. They met while he was serving in the U.S. Armed Forces and was stationed in Germany in 1959. Elvis once allegedly told his friend Rex Mansfield that Priscilla was “young enough that I can train her anyway I want.” Priscilla has said the pair didn’t have sex until they were married when she was 24 — Elvis wanted a virgin apparently — but her young age at the time of their first meeting certainly makes the relationship questionable to say the least.

Ted Nugent – In 1978, Ted Nugent became the legal guardian of 17-year-old Pele Massa as an arrangement with her parents. This is because he couldn’t legally marry her. “It just really wasn’t a terribly appropriate situation in most people’s eyes,” said Massa years later, “And now, it would be criminal.” Courtney Love also accused Ted of doing stuff to her when she was 12 and he was 28.

Jerry Lee Lewis – In 1958, Jerry Lee Lewis married his 13-year-old cousin, Myra Gale Brown, at the age of 22 while still married to his first wife. Jerry Lee had to cancel his tour after journalists caused an uproar about the age of Myra Gale Brown.

Jimmy Page – A woman named Lori Maddox was just 14 when she began a relationship with Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page. Page was 28 at the time. She went into detail about a time when Jimmy Page who allegedly told her “I told you I’m going to have you.” She also claims he had his manager Jimmy Cole take her to the hotel to meet him without her knowing where she was going.

David Bowie – That same woman, Lori Maddox allegedly lost her virginity to David Bowie at the age of 14 and he was in his mid-20s.

Marvin Gaye – Janice Hunter, the second wife of Marvin Gaye, revealed in her memoir “After the Dance” that they had met when she was only 17 and he was 34.

Iggy Pop – Iggy Pop reportedly wrote his song “Look Away” on his 1996 album about his relationship with a woman named Sable Starr. The lyrics entail that Pop slept with Sable Starr when she was only 13 years old and he was 10 years her senior.

Mick Jagger – Again, Lori Maddox allegedly began having a relationship with Mick Jagger when she was 17 years old. She said, “I remember being 17 and hanging out at the Record Plant in LA. I was friends with the owner and everybody recorded there.” She details a jam session between Mick Jagger and Stevie Wonder with three of the Beatles that went sideways. She claims the session left Jagger upset and he took her to a bondage-themed bedroom.

10 Disturbing Movies Millennial Parents Show Their Kids

When you introduce your kids to the stuff you used to watch when you were their age, you realize that some of that stuff is actually pretty messed up. Here’s a list of 10 disturbing movies that millennial parents show their kids:

  1. “The Dark Crystal” (1982):  Yeah, it’s a Jim Henson puppet movie, but some of those puppets are legit NIGHTMARE FUEL.
  1. “Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey” (1983):  Okay, so the two dogs and the cat make it back home safely, but it’s pretty traumatic watching them face constant peril . . . G rating or not.
  1. “Matilda” (1996):  Based on the book by the now-infamous Roald Dahl, it features neglectful parents and an evil teacher who throws children by their hair and force-feeds them as punishment.
  1. “Labyrinth” (1986):  A teenage girl calls out to the Goblin King to take her baby brother away, then instantly regrets it and tries to get him back.  Featuring David Bowie in some seriously tight pants as the Goblin King.
  1. “The Witches” (1990):  Roald Dahl again, and these witches are seriously creepy . . . even for adults.
  1. “Legend” (1985):  Before he played Pennywise in the ’90s version of “It”Tim Curry was pretty terrifying as the Lord of Darkness.
  1. “Willow” (1988):  It starts with an evil queen slaughtering pregnant women and their babies, in order to thwart a prophecy that says a child about to be born will end her reign.
  1. “The Secret of NIMH” (1982):  A G-rated animated movie about the National Institute of Mental Health experimenting on rats.
  1. “Hook” (1991):  Robin Williams’grown-up version of Peter Pan has to rescue his children from Captain Hook, but he doesn’t come off as a terribly good dad.
  1. “Return to Oz” (1985):  Electroshock therapy, wheelie monsters, and a room featuring an evil princess’s extra heads?  That’s quality children’s entertainment right there.  (Okay, I call B.S.  “The Neverending Story”, anyone?  That scene where Atreyu’s horse “dies” in the Swamps of Sadness?)
