A Guy Tries to Get Away After Huffing Air Freshener at Walmart . . . But He Passes Out Right in Front of the Store
The biggest problem with trying to HUFF AND RUN is that the huffing part sure makes the running part more difficult.
There’s a 27-year-old guy named Logan Vinton Epperly in Triangle, Virginia . . . and trust me, he’s much less fancy than that name suggests.
Around 4:00 A.M. on Monday, Logan broke into a Walmart and started huffing from their cans of air freshener. Then he tried to run away.
But . . . all that huffing really ruined that plan. When the cops got there, they found him totally passed out RIGHT in front of the store.
He was charged with burglary and inhaling drugs or other noxious chemical substances.

Longtime Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina said he’d “welcome the opportunity” if he had a chance to be player-manager during his last contract year with St. Louis in 2020. “For any player, that would be a dream to be considered for such a role. It would be a dream. I’m not shutting the door to anything. I am very open. Of course, maybe I would like to spend some time with my family first. But if such an opportunity comes up, obviously I would accept it.” The 36-year-old Molina, considered one of the game’s best catchers, has spent his entire 15-year career with the Cardinals. The Cardinals fired Mike Matheny on Saturday after six-and-a-half seasons as manager, and named Mike Schildt to serve as interim manager. Molina knows that the organization is looking to him to be a stabilizing influence in the clubhouse.

Ezekiel Elliott’s autograph session on Saturday at the National Fantasy Football Convention was a total nightmare for some fans. For starters, he showed up late and he only signed his own merchandise—which included shirts that were on sale for $25. According to news reports, fans were told before the autograph session that the one-time Pro Bowler would sign two items of their choice. They only found out later that wasn’t the case. And to make it worse, some fans didn’t get autographs and spent tons of money for nothing. For example, one guy said that he flew in from Los Angeles for the event, spending $1,900. He dropped $1,000 on a Legends pass, and buying two Dallas Cowboys mini helmets. He thought he would get Elliott to sign those mini helmets, and use them as a giveaway on his website. But Elliott didn’t sign them.

Netflix has released a teaser for Season Three of “Stranger Things”, and apparently, there’s a chance the ‘gate’ could re-open at a Waldenbooks. It’s a VERY ’80s-style ad hyping the opening of a mall in Hawkins, Indiana, where the show is set. None of the regular characters are shown, except Steve, who’s got a job at an ice cream place called Scoops Ahoy. The end of the ‘ad’ says the new mall is “coming” next summer . . . so there’s a pretty good chance that’s when we can expect Season Three to come out.

Tool finally entered the studio this spring to record the band’s first album in more than 12 years. Legal issues, illness, a drawn-out writing process and other challenges kept the band from entering the studio until this past March. New music is set to be released sometime in early 2019. Well, hey did you get that Google alert yesterday telling you the new Tool record was out? The alert read, “IllutionWorld by Tool was released today, It was and is. So fans of rapper Tool$ It turns out that IllutionWorld is a musical effort, only not by a progressive heavy rock act but by a rapper named TOOL$ who posted it on Soundcloud. AC/DC may have proclaimed that rock ‘n’ roll ain’t NOISE POLLUTION . . . but at least one species would disagree: LADYBUGS. A Mississippi State University professor named Brandon Barton was listening to AC/DC one day . . . and when he heard “Rock and Roll Ain’t Noise Pollution“, he thought he’d actually do a study to find out if that’s true. He decided to do the test using ladybugs, aphids, and soybeans . . . because . . . well, you got a better idea? Aphids are a common pest for soybeans, and one job that ladybugs do is EAT aphids and save soybean crops. Barton got out some aphid-infested soybeans, and unleashed some ladybugs on them. Then, he turned on his stereo . . . and played things like AC/DC, other classic rock, outlaw country music, folk music, city sounds, and aircraft noise. He immediately noticed something. The ladybugs would generally eat ALL the aphids. But the ones who were exposed to hard rock music like AC/DC and loud city sounds ate drastically fewer aphids.

After her answer started making the rounds, dozens of articles picked it up with headlines like, “Paris Jackson reveals she’s bisexual during fan Q&A.” However, the model and actress took issue with stories declaring this was breaking news. Jackson wrote on her Instagram story, “I came out when I was 14.
