Woman ‘Released Bowels’ To Resist Arrest

via LEX18 – Police say a Livingston woman arrested early Friday morning on theft charges and an outstanding warrant made things worse for herself — and the arresting officer.

According to her arrest citation, while being taken into custody 26-year-old Amanda Rochelle Peters “intentionally released her bowels in an upward motion and with purposeful direction at this Deputy — causing said bodily waste to land on the face, arms and legs of this Deputy.”

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office sad Peters was wanted on an outstanding warrant out of Rockcastle County.

Peters was located around 1:45 a.m. Friday at home on Liberty Avenue. Police say the homeowner allowed police in, but Peter locked herself into a bathroom.

Authorities said the deputy had to force his way into the bathroom and arrest Peters with force, during which the alleged assault took place.

Cardinals were in Atlanta last night and took it to the Braves.  They picked up the 11-6 win.  Paul Dejong, Harrison Bader, Yadier Molina, and Kolten Wong all hit homers in the win.   Miles Mikolas picked up his 16th win of the year.  Tonight the two teams are back at it again in Atlanta.  Austin Gomber gets the 6:35PM start.

With the win last night the Cardinals are now in first place in the NL Wild Card race.  They are a half game ahead of Colorado and 3 games behind the Brewers.  There are only 11 games left remaining on the schedule.

Tonight, the Blues are in action for the first time in preseason.  They are in Dallas to take on the Stars.  Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30PM and you can check it out on the NHL app or online.

The Chicago Bears topped the Seattle Seahawks 24-17 at home in Monday Night Football last night. Chicago quarterback Mitchell Trubisky was 25 of 34 for 200 yards, while Seattle QB Russell Wilson was sacked six times as he went 22 of 36 for 226 yards.

Quarterback Carson Wentz has been cleared to return to play after tearing his left ACL and LCL last December, and will start for the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Backup quarterback Nick Foles stepped in after Wentz was hurt and led the Eagles to their first NFL title since 1960 in a 41-33 win over the New England Patriots, and was also named the Super Bowl MVP. But even though he knew Wentz was coming back, Foles wanted to stay with the Eagles this season instead of seeking an opportunity with another team to be a starter.

Josh Gordon is officially no longer a Cleveland Brown.  And to be honest, this may be quite the upgrade for him.  Gordon was traded to the Patriots yesterday in exchange for a 5th round draft pick.  Now, you know Josh Gordon.  Dude has been suspended 1000 times for drug and alcohol related issues.  He came back last year.  Ready to roll.  Clean and sober.  He played in the season opener this year.  And then, on Saturday, he showed up to the Browns facilities and people said he wasn’t acting like himself and they suspected some substance abuse issues.  He didn’t play Sunday…and was out the door on Monday.

Being a kicker in the NFL sucks not only because everyone gets mad at you when you screw up, but also because nobody ever respected you all that much in the first place. How else to explain Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer answering a question about why he cut kicker Daniel Carlson—who missed three field goals on Sunday, including what would have been the game-winner—so coldly?  Speaking of kickers….Zane Gonzalez, the kicker from Cleveland…or shall I say FORMER kicker from Cleveland, was cut yesterday as well.  Dude cost the team 8 points in game where they lost by three.

The “Emmys” last night were a pretty dry affair, but two moments REALLY stuck out.  One was kind of tragic and one was kind of magic. Okay, the bad news first:  BETTY WHITE was brought out onstage and honored for . . . being alive.  After all, she’s 96 years old.  Sadly, she wasn’t quite the Betty White of a few years ago (AUDIO). But not long after that, the show was completely stolen by a guy you’ve never even heard of.  His name is Glen Weiss, and he won an Emmy for directing the “Oscars”. And during his acceptance speech this happened (AUDIO).  Netflix tied HBO for the most Emmys, with 23.  It’s the first time a streaming service sat at the top of the heap. Amazon also had a great night, thanks to “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”, which won EIGHT trophies.  But “Game of Thrones” had the biggest total of any show, with 9 Emmys.  One of the best moments was Henry Winkler got a standing ovation when he won Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for “Barry”.  He’s 72, and it’s his first Emmy after 42 years in TV.

Here are all the Emmy winners you care about . . .

Best Drama Series:  “Game of Thrones”  (HBO)

Best Actor in a Drama Series:  Matthew Rhys, “The Americans”  (FX)

Best Actress in a Drama Series:  Claire Foy, “The Crown”  (Netflix)

Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series:  Thandie Newton, “Westworld”  (HBO)

Best Comedy Series:  “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”  (Amazon)

Best Actor in a Comedy Series:  Bill Hader, “Barry”  (HBO)

Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series:  Henry Winkler, “Barry”  (HBO)

Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series:  Alex Borstein, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”  (Amazon)

Remember back at the end of August when Rose McGowan claimed that Asia Argento told her partner Rain Dove that Bennett had sent nude photographs of himself to her since he was 12. “Asia, you were my friend. I loved you,” McGowan also wrote. “Do the right thing. Be honest. Be fair. Let justice stay its course. Be the person you wish Harvey could have been.” Well its now getting ugly between 2 of the biggest names in the #METOO times. Yesterday Argento threatened on Twitter to sue McGowan over statements she made alleging that Argento sexually assaulted her underage co-star Jimmy Bennett. “Dear @RoseMcGowan. It is with genuine regret that I am giving you 24 hours to retract and apologize for the horrendous lies made against me in your statement of August 27,” Argento tweeted early Monday. “If you fail to address this libel, I will have no option other than to take immediate legal action.”

Julie Chen is reportedly giving up her job as a co-host on CBS’ The Talk following her husband Les Moonves’ resignation from the network amid sexual misconduct allegations. “She is definitely leaving The Talk and will 100 percent stay with Les,” an insider tells Page Six. “It could be this week, or she could do it after Big Brother, but she will be leaving. I wouldn’t be surprised if [CBS] asked her not to come back.” Chen recently signed off as “Julie Chen Moonves” on Big Brother–marking the first time she’s used his name on air since marrying him in 2004. She is currently taking time off from The Talk.

SEAN PENN shared his opinion on the #MeToo movement yesterday on the “Today” show, and . . . well, I’ll just let you judge. He said, quote, “This is a movement that was largely shouldered by a kind of receptacle of the salacious . . . The spirit of much of what has been the #MeToo movement is to divide men and women.” He added, quote, “I’m very suspicious of a movement that gets glommed onto in great stridency and rage and without nuance.  And even when people try to discuss it in a nuanced way, the nuance is attacked.” “[It’s] too black and white.  In most things that are very important, it’s really good to just slow down.”

DAKOTA JOHNSON worked with a shirtless Chris Hemsworth on the set of the upcoming movie “Bad Times at the El Royale”. She says, quote, “Oh my god.  It’s such a distraction . . . No one on set could pay attention to anything else:  It was so shocking, not in a sexual way at all, just, like, scientifically, how is it possible to look like that?  Crazy!” And when Dakota saw him eat, it went from distracting to INFURIATING.  She says, quote, “He would eat a bowl of Smarties and you’re like: ‘You’re an [A-hole], [eff] you!’ “I don’t eat anything sweet:  I eat green things for three months in order to fit into a pair of jeans.  And he eats whatever the [eff] he wants and looks like he was literally chiseled out of marble.  It’s insane.”

ROSEANNE BARR has given so many interviews about “The Conners” and the fall-out from her racist Tweet that it seems like she’s doing a full-on promotional blitz for the show. In a new interview she revealed how Roseanne will die:  By an OPIOID OVERDOSE. Roseanne said that it was her idea to have the character struggle with a drug addiction, but of course she never intended on her DYING, and she doesn’t like it.(AUDIO) Quote, “It’s so cynical and horrible.  She should’ve died as a hero, if they really wanted to kill me off.  Or not [died] at all . . . They went far beyond just firing me.” She also accused the show of trying to push her out BEFORE the Tweet, and she suggested that the realization that she was losing control of her show MIGHT have had “something to do with her blowing it all up in that Tweet.”  She said, quote, “I was so angry, and I was so unsettled.”

TOM ARNOLD’s new show “The Hunt for the Trump Tapes” premieres tonight on Vice.  If you didn’t know, it’s a show where Tom tries to dig up incriminating footage from PRESIDENT TRUMP’s past. Tom insists that the producer of “The Apprentice”, MARK BURNETT, is sitting on behind-the-scenes footage of Trump saying the N-WORD and other offensive things. Well, at a pre-Emmy party on Sunday night, Arnold and Burnett came face-to-face . . . and ended up in a SHOVING MATCH. After it happened, Tom Arnold Tweeted, quote, “Mark Burnett just went [crazy] & choked me at this huge Emmy party then he ran away with his torn Pink shirt & missing gold chain.  I’m waiting for LAPD.” Then Burnett’s wife, ROMA DOWNEY, Tweeted a picture of a bruise on the back of her hand.  She said, quote, “Got this bruise tonight when Tom Arnold tried to ambush my husband Mark and me at a charity event.  Is your TV show worth it Tom?  Please stop.” But Tom says he was with a documentary filmmaker who recorded the whole thing . . . and he claims Roma tried to knock the guy’s phone out of his hand.  He also says KEVIN BACON was among the witnesses. There’s been no word from Kevin yet, but ALYSON HANNIGAN Tweeted about seeing it all go down.  She says “Survivor” host JEFF PROBST tried to break it up.  Burnett also produces “Survivor”.  Alyson didn’t say whose fault it was, though. Tom ended up filing a battery report with the LAPD yesterday

“Jeopardy” had a whole category about cowbells in rock music.

I don’t know the boundaries of the bravery of national treasure Chrissy Teigen. She went to Twitter over the weekend to reveal the lie she has been living for oh so many years.

The “Hollywood Reporter” says that PATRICK STEWART is playing Bosley in the upcoming “Charlie’s Angels” reboot. Which is interesting . . . because a while back we heard that the director Elizabeth Banks would be playing Bosley.  Turns out there will be MULTIPLE Bosleys, because there will be several teams of Angels all over the world. Of course, Bosley serves as the intermediary between the Angels and Charlie, their employer, who is never actually seen.  David Doyle played Bosley on the show, Bill Murray played Bosley in the first movie, and Bernie Mac played him in the second. Charlie has not been cast.  John Forsythe voiced him on the show AND in the movies, but John passed away in 2010.  In case you’ve forgotten, Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and British actress Ella Balinska are playing the three Angels in the reboot, which will be out NEXT September.

Burt Reynolds left his niece Nancy Lee Brown Hess in charge of his entire estate, according to court documents obtained by The Blast. He only mentioned his son Quentin to say, “I intentionally omit him from this, my Last Will and Testament, as I have provided for him during my lifetime in my Declaration of Trust.” It is unclear what the terms of the Declaration of Trust were. Reynolds died in Florida earlier this month. He was 82.

It was 48 years ago today (September 18th, 1970) that Jimi Hendrix died at the age of 27, about two months shy of his 28th birthday. Nearly five decades later, the events surrounding his death remain sketchy at best, with the only clear fact being that the coroner report stated that Hendrix had asphyxiated in his own vomit, which mainly consisted of red wine. Monika Dannemann, his girlfriend at the time, has long contended that he was alive when placed in the ambulance. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Jimi Hendrix Experience‘s third and final album, Electric Ladyland, a new Deluxe Edition box set will be released on November 9th. The package will come as a three-CD/one Blu-ray set or a six LP/one Blu-ray set, with both packages including the original double album, now newly remastered by Bernie Grundman from the original analog tapes, and a 48-page full-color book. Also included is Electric Ladyland: The Early Takes, which presents demos and studio outtakes from this period in Hendrix’s career, plus a new 5.1 surround sound mix of the entire original album by Hendrix’s original engineer Eddie Kramer. This marks the first and only time this has been done with a Hendrix studio album. The new cover art — shot by Linda McCartney — features a classic photograph of the band and children at the statue of Alice In Wonderland in New York’s Central Park — and was Hendrix’s own choice of imagery for the album’s cover image.

Billboard posted its latest Hot 100, and for the 10th straight week, “In My Feelings” by DRAKE tops it. Even more impressive, this is the 29th week of 2018 that Drake has occupied the top spot.  That’s a record, and we’re only 71% of the way through the year.  USHER had the previous high.  He was #1 on the Hot 100 for 28 weeks in 2004. Drake has been #1 for 29 of the 39 weeks so far this year.  As for the other 10 weeks, Ed Sheeran has four, Childish Gambinohas two, and there were single weeks by Camila Cabello, Post Malone, Cardi B, and XXXTentacion
